“I'm a restaurant partner. Complete waste of time, cannot get hold of the area manager even after calling him many times and leaving messages. 34% goes to them when they do your deliveries which is ridiculous. Bad service all round even when you sign up get 100 call centers from India ringing the business number 20 times a day. Don't bother with these platforms”

“My workplace ordered food from local McDonald’s claimed it had been delivered but office has cameras at both entrances and no delivery driver came at delivery time stated. Refuse refund without explanation, reporting to Bank.”

“A very bad/ poor experience with them. Ordered food on a Saturday the good was never delivered. Contacted Restaurant no resolution. Contacted Just Eat customer complaints, the first two agents were rude and cut me off the chats. The 3rd one logged a complaint and I got a reply later from Stephen stating that he's not going help me as it's beyond his powers.No refund he even said he won't be entertaining anymore of my emails. I just checked their Facebook profile, pathetic service from Just Prob”

“Food was not delivered and they’re refusing to refund, or tell me the grounds for not refunding. I have communicated with them via Chat, email and their “partner service line” as the one for customers suggests you go to the app/website and then cuts you off. The partner phone line people were kind, but unable to help. I am housebound, so cannot go out and find something else to eat. I am tired, very hungry, stressed and have had my pocket picked by them. Their customer service is appalling, and the phrase “morally bankrupt” keeps popping into my head.”

“Set of robbing scumbags, I have taken this to consumer rights. My husband ordered a kfc today for 5.30 before he went out. I came home and the food arrived 15 minutes late and was flat cold and only an 8 piece boneless bucket meal to feed a family of 4 I complained to Just Eat, little did I know that my husband had ordered the 8 piece in error instead of the 12 piece but the fact remained that the food was freezing cold. I had to REHEAT CHICKEN to feed my family. Over 2 hours later just eat contacted me for PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE and because I couldn't they refused to resolve the matter... Stay away from this bunch of thieves. I have deleted the account and will be dealing with this legally as they have breached consumer rights. This is the response I got. “If I could rate it zero stars, I would have done so. This delivery experience and customer service were the worst I've ever had. Despite confirming delivery to my address, the order was delayed. When I contacted the restaurant, they refused to deliver it. Just Eat declined to issue a refund, insisting the restaurant must authorize it. Even though the restaurant confirmed they had authorized it several times and requested Just Eat to call them back, the support team kept closing the chat without resolution, claiming they couldn't initiate a refund. It's clear they are cheaters, thieves, and scammers. I've found thousands of reviews describing similar situations online. Do not use this app!”

“DONT USE JUST EAT!!!!! I made an order which said “delivered” at 10:12 I never received anything, I tried to contact them which led me receiving an email saying “it’s under investigation be patient” Now I was patient i waiting a while 24 hours but at that point it’s taking the P*** To find out how to get into contact with them I HAD TO RING THERE WEARHOUSE!!!! When i finally managed to get onto the live chat, they offered me a refund, but refused to give me back my 30% discount I had used!!! Don’t use this app, if anything is wrong with the food they make it extremely hard ti get anything back, THE CUSTOMER ISNT PROTECTED!!!!!”

“Absolutely disgusted with how we have been treated. Driver tried to deliver someone else's food told it wasn't mind. He said yes it was. Wouldn't even look at my order took the food and left. No one will help us and get our money back.”

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I ordered some food which i was fully charged for, so when only half of my order arrived i was surprised. Contacted the restaurant to check in case they forgot to include half of my order and was told no, they just did not have some of the items i ordered available. When i asked about a refund, they told me Just Eat doesn't allow them to amend invoices and that i needed to contact Just Eat for a refund. Contacted Just Eat, only to be told they wouldn't refund me but they can give me credit i can use on my next order?!?? Like there would be a next order after such a disgraceful service. so basically they outright stole my money.”

“Their customer service is awful & unjust. I complained about one of the dishes not being cooked properly and meat and veg was raw. They asked to send a picture which I did and then replied with - Unfortunately we cannot help you with this matter, but is there anything else we can help you with? why are they asking for help with my query but then refusing that they can’t help??”

“When delivering my order the driver dropped one of the cans of drink resulting in the can leaking everywhere. He tried to give us the drink but we requested a new one. He was reluctant to go back to the store to get us a new one and became quite rude. The order was delivered around 7.10pm and he is still yet to return therefore making our order incomplete. Terrible service!”

“I recently had a terrible experience with Just Eat, and I feel compelled to share my negative review of their service. My order was delivered to me on 19/06/2023, and to my shock, the driver left the food at the side of the bin on the floor as a delivery point. This is not only unhygienic, but it is also a violation of health and safety regulations. I was appalled that Just Eat would allow such a thing to happen. To add to my disappointment, when I contacted their customer service team to complain about this, they accused me of using a template and expressed that they would not be taking any further action. This is unacceptable! I was merely trying to raise a genuine concern about the quality of their service and the unprofessional behavior of their driver. The fact that Just Eat would treat their customers in such a dismissive manner is beyond disappointing. As a paying customer, I expect to be heard and taken seriously when I have a complaint. Instead, I was accused of using a template and was given no indication that my feedback would be taken into consideration. Overall, I would strongly discourage anyone from using Just Eat's service. Their delivery practices are unhygienic and unsafe, and their customer service is dismissive and unprofessional. I would not recommend this service to anyone and will be looking for alternative options in the future.”

“Be Aware. Know this, if any problems arise with your order, Just Eat will not take any responsibly, they will never refund you and they will tell you that. I've been using Just Eat for a long time, they are very expensive and the orders take an hour to arrive. One day my order was disgusting and inedible, it smelled off and I got food poisoning. I called the restaurant they told me to talk to Just Eat. When I told Just Eat they asked for pictures which I sent (food in the bin) they told me to get in touch with the council?? and flatly refused to refund me claiming no responsibility what so ever? Shocking and disgraceful, this company will take your money but when things go wrong they tell you sorry there's nothing they can do.”

“This company is very bad because doesn't help the customer. We order and than the driver keep my order sometimes and put the message as delivered. It is so bad because I am waiting for it. I am trying to contact the customer service and they don't have an efficient system. Really disappointed 😞”
