“Thief’s stole my money no food delivered not even refund offered”

“I am extremely disappointed with Just Eat’s service and their new policy. Recently, I placed an order and did not receive two of the items I paid for. To make matters worse, one of the products I did receive—mushrooms—arrived in an open box, with clear signs that someone had already eaten from it. I provided photographic evidence to Just Eat and reached out for support, but they refused to issue a refund, even for the items that were missing. This is unacceptable. As a loyal customer who used to order from Just Eat every week, I am appalled by this change in their policy. The new policy apparently states that even if items are missing from your order, no refunds will be provided. This was confirmed to me via email by one of their employees. To make matters worse, I have seen that the majority of recent reviews and comments from other customers are saying the same thing. We need to stand together and take action! Stop using their service, remove the app from your phones, and let them know this kind of behavior is unacceptable. Companies like this need to understand that they can’t treat customers this way or get away with taking people’s money without delivering what was promised. While you can try to request a refund through your bank, the process is time-consuming. It’s clear that Just Eat needs to overhaul this policy and start treating their customers with respect.”

“Awful service. Had a issue with our order which resulted in us having to get food elsewhere. Alongside the cost of this, we had the cost of fuel and the inconvenience. It was clear it was a mistake from the restaurant and Just Eat acknowledged the issue. Since then, [1.5-2 weeks ago] I have been in a email discussion back and forth where the customer service has been utterly pathetic. They have attempted to provide credit to my account without discussion with me when I clearly looking for the cash refund for the issue. They provide you with the same generic responses and do not respond to any request for complaints or management contact details. They are a disgrace and scamming customers”

“DO NOT ORDER FROM JUST EAT!! They promote scammers and con men. Ordered from a restaurant, never got my order and I never got my money given back. Sent a complaint to just eat and they still are yet to give me my money back!! Looked at other reviews of the restaurant, over 100 customers have had the exact same experience and yet just eat still don't want to do anything about the fact that people are getting scammed.”

“The driver turned up late my food was cold items where missing and the driver could not speak any English when I asked where my drinks where I could not get an explanation the service has gone right down hill in recent years”

“Made an order for pickup, it was accepted. When I went to get it I found the restaurant didn’t exist. Just Eat customer service was awful. Refused a refund. I got scammed and they are totally okay with it.”

“I am absolutely disgusted with the appalling service from Just Eat. They completely failed to make any attempt to contact me, and I never received my order. They refused to refund. I urge everyone to avoid using them for delivery. I am currently in the process of claiming a refund through PayPal, and I will be reporting Just Eat to Trading Standards for what I believe is illegal behaviour. Their customer service is a joke. The only way to contact them is through their useless website email, which is no help whatsoever.”

“Frauds. Clicked "delivery" for order and upon paying it appeared as "collection." Cancelled it but "polite" assistant on their chat refuse to refund. Please read other people's reviews to see what a joke of a company this is. Need to be reported to Trading Standards. (Order no. 455692818 through my daughter's phone.)”

“I placed an order with them from a restaurant, Balti Hut, that I eat regularly from. It cost just over £30 and was inedible. Some parts of it were burnt and really dry. Some of the chicken in it was raw. I sent pictures and they have said they have given me just over £4 back and can't do anything else. I order regularly from here and never had to complain as the food is normally beautiful but on this occasion it was atrocious. I cannot believe they will not refund for a meal that had so much wrong with it.”
