Whilst I appreciate this is a stressful time for Supermarket Workers (& The Customer too!) I do not appreciate being yelled at on till no 2 Braintree Store Sat 25th July around half past eleven to bring the basket with me! No PLEASE was added on to the end of that. For a first time visitor since before lockdown I did not know the procedure. I did have to mention to the cashier her manners she said she did say please. I DO NOT think so! We are all in this together at these uncertain times. Just please remember manners go a long way, when you are serving the general public! Thank you.

Unfortunately, the plastic baskets are consistently unclean. The cashiers push your goods thru so quickly it can sometimes damage fresh goods, ie. from the bakery. However, the produce is excellent value.

I love shopping at Lidl , but vegan section doesn't exist compared to other supermarkets. They don't seem to catch up with the demand for dairy free products and meat free options, which is a shame because it would definitely boost up the sales rapidly.

Prices are good and they have interesting food sometimes. The minced beef is full of water whereas the frozen prawns have very little compared to a lot of shops that have loads of water and very little prawns. A few of the staff at Broadstairs are helpful and polite, one of them even says hello to regular shoppers but there are many that are very rude to customers. They talk to each other while serving customers; I have witnessed one arguing with a customer over whether something had been discounted or not. The way to do it would be to ask a colleague to assist the customer, for the colleague to go to the shelf where the customer saw the discount and deal with the issue politely. Lidl's training must be awful!

Love the bakery at the new Lidl at Town St. Stanningley, and it is my reason for going. However, the last two weeks the shelves at the bakery have been almost empty. No croisants or pastries. Limited bread rolls. No paper bags to put bread in so they supply rolls of plastic veg bags - (for the past two weeks ) Come on Lidl, this is a new store. Pull your socks up or we won't be back. No fresh bakery then no customers!

lidl has a good store near to me and has a good selection but the plastic rapping on all its products it sells is increasingly getting worse every time I go in and even fruit and veg is over packaged.

We've done our weekly shop at Lidl for the past 6 years, mainly due to budget as we're on a low income. Overall we've always been satisfied with the products on sale and value for money. My only real issue is the monotoneous choice which hardly varies month in month out. We would be so much happier if Lidl done away with the luxury and novelty end food and drink and offered instead a wider choice of every day grocery produce. Personally, we consume a great deal of fresh fruit and vegtables. Much of this is hit or miss. Sometimes the produce is fresh and of good quality other times its quite apalling, especially the bagged salads and green beans which are nearly always going black. But we accept you get what you pay for and its nice to have a budget grocery store to fall back on when you're not fortunate enough not to worry about money. And for that we're grateful to Lidl. Thank you.

Used the photo gift service to create a cushion for my niece who is off to university. Uploading images doable for me as a non technical person. Prices very good in comparison to other places. End product good and well printed. Downside took longer to arrive than they said and they were not quick in responding when I chased them for delivery info (hence the 3 star score)

I bought a bag of potatoes which were of doubtful quality. Because I rely on others to take me shopping I was not able to take them back straight away so I wrote to Lidl. Very reluctantly, after many emails I got a letter with instructions to show it to the store manager who would replace the potatoes. Very poor customer service compared to other larger stores.
