I was a new customer to mainline menswear and placed an order for a Ralph Lauren Oxford Short sleeved shirt. Nowhere on the initial page did it state that this was a slim fitting shirt. When the shirt arrived, I could see through the packaging that it had the Ralph Lauren slim fit label rather than custom fit. Slim fit only means you have to order one size larger which isn’t an issue and I would have done this had it stated in the initial page that it was slim fit product. When I spoke to customer service I could see why mainline have so many negative reviews. The ladies I spoke to were polite enough but this is clearly not the first time they have discussed this issue and just saying it is tucked away in the description which you only get access to when adding the size and has to be opened under a separate tab, isn’t an acceptable defence!!! As a company, if your customers are telling you, they can’t see the information to make an informed choice, surely you would act on that as your goal is to increase customer sales, return fitter custom and build reputation, but clearly this company don’t wish to do that. It is disappointing as I have three further Ralph Lauren shirts in my basket ready to place an order for to a value of £300 plus I didn’t place a large order as I never do with mail-order/internet companies until I’ve experienced a smaller order and the customer service that goes with it, so sadly mainline have lost me as a future customer. I will certainly talk to colleagues about the service and experience I’ve had as I wouldn’t want anyone else to have this experience it’s stressful and you just feel you’re being cheated. It’s always a risk ordering on the Internet, especially with new companies you haven’t used before and for me it just reaffirms that my business and shopping choices will be direct with brands or large companies such as John Lewis where you now that service and customer focus is at the forefront as these companies have seen the value of building a good reputation and intern a strong customer base. I was surprised by the customer service lady to be accused of being rude to her! And if she listens back to the call, I challenge anyone to find any element of the call where I was rude I provided feedback and description of my experience, none of which was done with raised voices or any element of rudeness. This just says a lot about the type of company and people at mainline menswear. if I could’ve given zero stars I would have. I will NOT return to use Mainline Menswear. I CANNOT recommend them and if you do decide to shop with them be warned.

These guys hound you with junk emails with their offers despite unsubscribing to about 3 of them now. Shop elsewhere as many many retailers have the same deals but none are as relentless as these guys. Then an email received telling me my email is now blacklisted and will not be able to make further purchases using that email because I left them a 1 star review on ekomi.

weeks… Ordered 500£ worth of cloths 2 weeks ago apparently royal mail let them behind a bin and I've got to wait 30 days to see what royalmail say I've spent 1000s upon 1000s with this site I'll never ever order again customer service and whole company in general is a pure joke

One of the worst retailers I have dealt with. Bought my partner a tracksuit in March, my partner didn’t open it til 4 April when his birthday was. The tracksuit looked awful on so returned for a refund I would not order from here again. Absolutely disgusting with returns! Issued me a credit note(which they still haven’t sent out) instead of refund because of delays with Royal Mail due to Easter. Only 14 days to return an item. (Which is not made clear anywhere unless you actually go to return the item) Don’t buy your gifts too early!

Worst customer service ever! Guy, Lewis, actually put me on hold and pretended to talk to his manager. When I wasn’t happy with the decision I asked for the managers name and he admitted it was him that made the decision! 4 days for a ‘next day delivery’ which is the reason I paid extra through there company. Sent back because too small and have no communication for 2 weeks! Not even acknowledging receipt of item. Finally after me emailing they say it’s marked and won’t change! I literally tried it on at home and put straight back in the bag! Will never use again, poor company and even worse customer service

Adidas shoes are factory rejected or plain fake. 100% scam site. horrible construction, cut very uneven. Unbelievable they are getting away with lying and ripping off customers.

Do not use this company returned item 20 days later still trying to get refund saying returns team looking in to this even sent a copy of returns receipt shocking

Placed an order for a top which showed as size 4 large on their website, but was actually a size 4 medium when it arrived, so immediately ordered a size 5 Extra large (which arrived as a size 5 large!) Returned the smaller medium which hadn’t even been opened and they refused the refund as they said it has been worn and smelt of aftershave! Strange as wasn’t opened by me or even been tried on! Shocking customer service and would never buy from again!

Charged for returning a faulty item because it was returned with other items purchased off the same order that whilst you might argue were correctly sized fitted poorly. Carriage for faulty goods return should not be my responsibility. Why would I return items separately and double my carbon footprint for the return - is carbon footprint not important to Mainline?

Warning, I would not recommend buying anything from this company. I have spent thousands of dollars on multiple orders with this company and in my experience it is often that something doesn't fit or looks different when you get it than in the picture posted. I've tried sending back items at my expense in exchange for a different size and never received the items back. I recently purchased over a thousand dollars worth of shirts and a jacket and the $350 jacket never made it to me. I have made several attempts to deal with customer service with no results. I definitely will not spend another dollar with this company.

This company is a SCAM. They will send you out faulty items. Only for you to then pay for the return. This is the way of them making money. Trading standards are looking into this. I ordered XS and I received what seemed like an XL even though it had XS printed. I have uploaded a screenshot. The large vest is the one from mainline menswear. And the other is my own vest which is a size XS. Just look at the difference between the two.

So angry this company advertise their clothing and itwms as genuine. This is not true I ordered 3 Hugo Boss T-shirt’s and they are fakes and terrible fakes at that. The material was so thin and not even a label on the items! So angry , what a joke !

Absolutely shocking customer service, no help received whatsoever. I kept getting fobbed off. I returned an expensive item which got lost. I received no help from customer services. The issue is still not resolved and I happened in July.

Shirts feel and look 'fake', size is incorrect, pictures are not aligned with reality. Very poor customer services and no intent to make it right

Purchased an armani t shirt. It had two slice marks on the front so informed customer service within 20 minutes of receiving the faulty goods. Asked to take a picture & email them. They replied saying I'd damaged the top while opening which was impossible as I have very short nails & denied to replace the faulty goods. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE COWBOYS. Only cheap because they sale faulty goods.

Don’t buy from this company I would have given no stars but it wouldn’t let me, I ordered a pack of T-shirts for my son which he tried on and realised they were too small I was refused a refund because they said there was a “deodorant smell”from the t shirts all I wanted was to return for a bigger size I will never order from here again

I would give this company zero stars if I could. Got rejected for an exchange or refund due to a white shirt that apparently got sent back with an orange mark around the collar, they have sent me it back & nothing on it, but will not accept any refund back to me, so basically keeping my money, so not only am I stuck with a mens t shirt that’s way too big but also out of pocket! It’s an absolute joke that they can do this, also they have had no communication with me in the whole 2 weeks this has taken, just a letter in my returned parcel telling me that no refund is coming!! But then getting bombarded with junk mail from them, will NEVER buy from this company EVER again!!!
