Something has changed in the last year with their company. First time we used them we received a great product and good customer service. Now...terrible customer service. We were called liars twice but then sent them the invoice we had to show them we were correct. Then, after telling them we were canceling our order they offered to change the invoice by the .03 cents per pen dispute. We told them, no thank you. Then they said the order was shipped and we would receive it tomorrow. We asked for the tracking code...that was a lie as well when we tried to verify it. POOR, POOR, POOR customer service. FYI, when we ordered the pens, it was weeks without hearing from them. Then, we contacted them and they told us they were backordered. Again, didn't hear anything from them so we contacted them to give them our updated information...Avoid them

This company does not care about its customers. In fact, they will call you a liar! I ordered pens from these jokers and they came totally wrong. Their customer support said I approved the logo when I did not. I asked them to show me the email where I approved. I have since been GHOSTED even after repeated attempts with reaching out to their customer support managers and C-Level supervisors. NOTHING! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! Go to 4Imprint or discountmugs.com--they will treat you MUCH better!

We ordered 500 pens and none of them work. It's been over 1 year, but still. We have been giving them out (still have about 350) come to find out they don't work. This is NOT what we expected and now our clients get non working pens and that's a reflection on my company. I've been trying to work with National Pens to make this right and they will not refund or take back the non working pens. It's a joke working with their customer service. It's a HUGE call center and no one cares. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Several other companies that have working products that last long.

I ordered pens to later find out that they are out of stock and will be for the next 4 months if not longer. After waiting 3 weeks for my order I contacted them. Phone rings for long periods of time, greater than 30 minutes only to speak with people who are difficult to understand. Offered me a 20% discount of future orders. Terrible service.....

Some of the worst customer service. Reordered Pens with the same logo because they charge more if you change it. Got my order and THEY changed the logo leaving off important info. Called to get it fixed. After 40 minutes on the phone they offered to give me 10% off the bad order and 10% off the correct order. So your solution to changing my logo is to increase your sales? I will not be using this company again

If a 0 star was possible that is what I would give. I purchased over a month ago and received an email that if I did not respond to my order it would be assumed the artwork was approved. I did not respond because I approved the order. After 12 business days and a half I called because I still had not received a shipping confirmation and they stated that my order was in hold because I had not approved my artwork. The customer service rep was not helpful and unable to provide ANY assistance so that I could receive my order in time. I ended up cancelling my order and am now going to have to pay double to receive my order in time thanks to National Pens.

we have purchased here for 3 years, this time has been a nightmare! this was a large order, they sent approval for the same pens as last time completely wrong, i sent them the correction, no reply for over a week then asked for the order number that was in the email subject, so i asked for a refund finally, no response, there is never a response or communication, its over 2 weeks with nothing more, i am going to file a complaint i guess.

i order Pens in November for my staff and they never were delivered until Jan. one of the pens was wrong and they will not replace it. Avoid using this company, they would not redo the order or give me a credit. i was a long term customer, not any more, they just don't care.

Do not order from them. They don't care. It says 4-10 days production then ship but when I tried to track my order 2 weeks later they never even started it and didn't care. One person said I could rush the order after they had it for 13 days and pay more. I said whatever I will. Then they told me I don't know who said that that they will investigate. So needless to say I canceled my order because they ...well they had no excuses. So if you need it don't order from them.

I ordered 1200 pens and they were dried up pens. They wouldn't refund, understandably without a sample. It took 6 weeks to get a label to ship them back. They confirmed that the pens were bad and gave a credit back for the invoice and I trashed the dried up pens. Since then, I have continuously received emails and phone calls from collection department wanting payment. I will never use this company again and recommend that you do not! I've spent way to much time on this situation caused by them!

Worst experience and still ongoing! Took forever to confirm my order. i have emailed four times with zero response. i have called three times with little to no help. i now finally received an order after 30 days and it was someone else' order? i asked to speak to a supervisor a week and a half ago. was told one could call me back. STILL WAITING! the customer service rep offered me a coupon for money off my next order 🤣🤣🤣 do you really think ill be back. i even started to take their online survey. first quedtion. how likely is it you will be a returning customer? my answer was a ZERO. The survey hung up on me after one question. What a HORRIBLE COMPANY!

I ordered a notebook and pen set at the end of October. My plan was to give them out for Christmas gifts to my customers and employees. After placing the order with my sales rep. I waited. By the middle of November I e mailed the rep and asked for an update. I was told the color I ordered was out of stock. So I ordered in a different color. As Christmas approaches I tried to get an update again. No response. Product showed up on January. I reciever an invoice on line. I paid the invoice fast forward to February 2nd and I get a phone call from the collection department saying I owe another 36 dollars. I told her I never recieved an invoice for that. She treated me like a dead beat. I paid the 36.00 then I sent an e mail to my rep explaining my displeasure with the whole order and lack of follow up. Their response..... crickets. Needless to say I am done with this company. No communication, no follow up, and treated like a dead beat over 36. 00 that was never invoiced.

Not happy with this company at all. I should have read the reviews before placing my order. I ended up cancelling my order. They said the funds would be refunded shortly and I still yet seen my funds. Do this company is getting rich by keep people's money and not fulfilling orders! Buyer beware

Took ages to organize service and delivery. Did not communicate shipping until after product shipped. Poor customer support follow-up to help troubleshoot the problem that was created by waiting until the last minute to process the job and ship. We will not be working with National Pen Company again.

Lack of quality across the board. Took 2 weeks for my proofs to get put into production because they hadn't seen my confirmation email and were still "waiting to hear back from me." Payment charges make no sense, with the full amount coming out, then going back in, then portions bein taken out with 0 communication from National Pen, leading to confusion about how much I've actually paid. Shipping comes in batches (understandable) but is communicated that it will be shipped all together. NO status updates on order after you confirm design. At the end of the day I fully understand that custom ordering takes time, as it should to insure the highest quality product, but what national pen has done is make an otherwise exciting process as miserable and regretful as possible. The whole reason you invest in a company like this is to build your own brand, and start marketing yourself or your business. This goes to show that National Pen has 0 interest in keeping up with the times, and are still stuck on the mindset of get rich quick. I have 0 faith that once my order shows up it will be anything like what has been pitched to me. If I could undo and go with a different company I would.

I am really not sure what happened here. The order took longer than expected to start with, but given it was the holiday season I can let that slide. But then when the pens arrived all they had was our address. No logo, which I had very carefully uploaded. I logged into their website to attempt to contact them and found my order was still sitting in my cart and correct with logo. Things go wrong I know that, so I was totally willing to work with them on a solution. But once I began my 3 day process of contacting them I determined this is just a very poorly managed company, with absolutely zero customer service. The first time I called the recording said I could enter my number and get a call back, so after 40 minutes on hold, I did that. 5 hours later, no return call. I tried again, this time leaving my number for call back after 10 minutes. Left the office at 5pm and returned at 8 am the next day to find 2 voicemails from them, left at 6am!! I get they open at 7am, but standard rule is to never call before 9am. I called again and stayed on hold until I had to hang up to try and get some work done. In the afternoon, I found an email contact, so I sent an email thinking that may be quicker. I immediately received 2 emails, saying they received my request and would contact me shortly. Never heard from them. Then day 3, still nothing, so I tried several times in the morning with no luck. Finally, this afternoon I somehow got through. The rep did not seem to understand the issue. Then she wanted me to email her all kinds of screen shots of the view of my account on pens.com. So I did. She put me on hold for 20 minutes. When she returned she said this is an issue for a more knowledgable rep and would pass my issue on to her supervisor, who hopefully will resolve the issue today. So, now I wait and see if I hear from them and if they will screw me or fix their mistake. Never again will I order from here. Absolutely ZERO customer service, and that's a pretty big mistake! We are a small startup, so it's not like I can just order from somewhere else, I have to wait for my refund. And if they don't give me one, I will have to give up on it all together!

I have had good service for from national pen for years my last few orders were not so well. 1. I ordered light up pens in several colors . Several of the pens don’t even light. They sent all 4 colors of pens in 4 different boxes . Charged $6.99 for 1 $6.99 for box 2 6.99 for box 3 $11.99 for box 4 . I tried to make it all go away . The payment center hung up on me so I couldn’t pay it . Finally a nicer lady took my payment after I called my rep for help. Hate it but I will be using Myron, and Amsterdam from now on . After being lied to and all the problems. This is not how operate a business. Just watch what the offer cheaper you will pay for it somewhere else. Also when they send 4 boxes when all 4 orders will aship in one box you know where they made there money so shipping was over $30 for $100 pens .

Ordered Pens guaranteed to be here by Christmas. They never came. Called today, they said they would have them by Feb! Never called or emailed me to tell me they were out. I also ordered calendars. Ask to cancel that order. After 45 minutes of waiting they told me Anita at ext 770931 would call me back. She never did. I guess I am going to dispute the charges thru my Bank. Horrible service. I will report to better business bureau tomorrow. This is a real review people. Dave yourself the headache. You can contact me directly 940 631 4033.

I don’t know what to say about this people. They are horrible, horrible horrible! I paid their bill but they are constantly harassing me asking for payment. I have emailed them screenshots of my bank statement, called them to say the bill has been paid but they are still demanding money from me! Don’t go anywhere near them! They are horrendous
