DON'T DO IT. Ordered a table and benches on the 12th March, due to be delivered today and I've not heard ANYTHING from them since I ordered. Rang to cancel and haven't had confirmation of the cancellation or a refund either. Trust the reviews! This place is terrible.

Goods overdue and will not be here by Easter. No interest in customers, just a semi-computerised non-informative response. Avoid!

I bought a shed online from Robert Dyas which when it arrived it was a poor quality shed so sent it back to supplier who said they would inform Robert Dyas when it was returned so they could refund the cost of shed.After 5 emails to the. There automated responses did not understand that I wanted a refund. I couldn't speak to a human and I found there customer service very poor.Also there phone number is premium rate so would cost 36p per minute

Received a faulty office chair. Been trying to get a refund for weeks but they insist on a video to prove when it RANDOMLY lowers itself and clunks! Am I supposed to film myself sat on it all day to prove this? They’re making it really difficult and they know I need this returned ASAP. Also, I apparently agree to the T&Cs of the supplier rather than the retailer despite not being given any of the supplier details??? Definitely won’t be using them again.

Should be -1 star The issue that I have experienced was I ordered a shed and the day before it was due to arrive on Friday March 26 I was called to say it would not be delivered because of a supply problem, after over 3 weeks of me picking a delivery day. They did not taking in account I took time off work and my Son did too, hired a skip to get rid of the old one and now have all the contents under tarpaulin in the garden which since Friday we have had gale force winds and torrential rain that is ruining my possesions. Also booked an electrician for Saturday to fit electrics and he was not pleased when I had to cancel Lots of expense and inconvienience. Promised to call me back with a new date, but nothing. Customer service is a joke.

Purchased a recycling bin turned up damaged,returning bin a joke contacted customers service via web site to many time to mention, called to make a rerun did not turn up to collect bin, as said before all done via 3rd party supplier,was told that they'd get on to them, "well I purchased through you not them". Do yourself a favour and stay away from this company

Ordered electric juicer but got sent glass manual juicrr,emailed several times still had no reply,completely unprofessional and incredibly frustrating to deal with.worst company i have had the misfortune to have encountered.DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

They had a very good price on a power washer, I ordered it, they took the money and then I was told it was no longer available and the money was immediately refunded. The next day the same item was still on offer on their site at the same price. It may be incompetence, but it could be that this company keep non-existent products on their website at great prices so as to hook customers into their site. Gave me a very poor impression of Robt Dyas.

I bought 2 items paid and for next day delivery. Items did not arrive the next day or next. I have now phoned customer service 3 times and been told by customer service that the delivery company - Tufnell is at fault. Refunded next day delivery but still waiting 3 weeks later for goods. I was advised on 3 occasions that the delivery would come on a particular day- total lies. I have now asked to cancel good and still waiting to find out if possible. Looks cheapest prices at time but been total waste of time waiting in queue for customer service then told false information. Waste of time and effort. Would not use again ever or advise to others.

Wish i had checked the reviews 1st same problems as other people ordered 2 items but they were sent by 3rd party 1 was very poor quality the 2nd was not as advertised however payed by Paypal best option took out a Dispute and money is refunded within a day but i certainly wont shop here again,

The worst experience you can imagine. Do not order from this so called reputable company. Customer services total scam..... they do not get back to you via e-mail unless you phone them on a high rate £4 a minute (daylight robbery), then they make you wait while they stall you further on the call. Absolute joke i ordered beginning of Feb and by 8 March I'd had enough after having been sent different products to what had been ordered, not once but twice. I did not want to go with the hassle of a third time. Let's see how long it will take for my refund now. Tried and tested customer You have been warned. Do not purchase big items from Robert Dyas because they source from third parties, it does not come from there warehouse. Getting in touch with them is a nightmare.

4 main problems: 1. They charged me for delivery when their website was promoting free delivery 2. The product they sent me was broken 3. They wanted me to sit in all day between 8-6 for them to collect their own broken product 4. They then declined to correspond further as they said I was not contacting them from the same email as on the order.... I only have one email and purchase confirmation came to that email so I have no idea what they mean. They told me to phone.... there is no number on their website. They told me to "live" chat.... I never heard back.

Avoid at all costs!!! Scam company at its finest! Taken over £200 from me and three weeks after delivery date still no item or refund. Avoid at all costs! Wish I’d read other reviews before placing my order as it seems everyone’s having the same issue!

I ordered Dualit kettle online. Lid was very tight and difficult to open, had to be pulled with force.(no push button to open)When I complained to customer services I was told to consult manual. The manual states to make the lid easier to open adjust pips on lid with a spoon!I am shocked that a kettle priced £80 + requires the purchaser to make it fit for purpose with a spoon.Dualit must be aware of the problem as this (advice) is printed on the manual.Robert Dyas customer service dept. was abysmal and rude, I got it sorted out by getting in touch with PayPal. Sent kettle back and got a refund.If I had not paid by this method I probably would have been stuck with a kettle that is not fit for purpose.Will never shop at Robert Dyas again.

Avoid at all costs, C S ... no one knows which way is up. My item was faulty, 15 emails later each saying different and contradicting the previous. It has been returned now I am waiting for refund....God help me and any other poor customers. It's not because of covid its pure incompetence....

I bought 3 outdoor planters online from Robert Dyas on 31 Jan. According to the stock counter there were 3 items left in stock. I was sent an email saying they would be delivered to me on the 9th of Feb. I was waiting at home expecting delivery on the 9th of Feb. Nothing turned up. No delivery, no emails, nothing. Robert Dyas has no customer service phone number, so I had to email them. They replied eventually to say that the item had been shipped and that I could track the item through the website. The website just said that the order had been received by the warehouse. So today (12 Feb) I decided to call the actual manufacturer (who DO have an ACTUAL phone number - Robert Dyas take note!). They were very helpful, and they told me that the item was in fact OUT OF STOCK, and won't be in stock till the 18th, and therefore won't be delivered for several days later. Finally some answers! Why couldn't Robert Dyas just have kept me informed with the actual reason for the non-delivery instead of basically lying to me? At least now I know approximately when the item will be delivered, so I have some peace of mind. Robert Dyas clearly have poor stock number control, poor communications, no contact phone number - all reasons to not shop with them ever again, it's just not worth the hassle.

100% a scam company, they don't even ship the items they sell via their website it's all third party. Ordered items simply never turn up, Robert Dyas do not provide any tracking information, and there's no customer service so no way to obtain a refund.

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever received from a company. Given numerous chances to be human, escalate my case, refund me — they just don't answer emails, sending default replies and ignoring information provided. Product arrived on 15th Jan, I can't use it as it's faulty, RD wanted to give the manufacturer the chance to "investigate providing repair or replacement parts". I stated that my contract, as defined in law, was with them not the supplier, and as the product was faulty I was legally entitled to a refund (I've had to buy a replacement myself). They simply don't reply to emails, I've had no explanation, or mention of a refund. I'm now 100 quid poorer and have a chair with no legs. Had to resort to using my bank for a chargeback request, as if you look on social media and at other reviews, it seems I'm not alone, and RD make a habit of not refunding people. Genuinely shocked, not at the faulty goods, that happens, but at how poor the customer service is.

We ordered a Swan kettle from Robert Dyas in April. The kettle became faulty in August. In September I emailed to ask how to return the kettle. To cut an exceedingly long and frustrating story short, after numerous emails and many generic responses, being sent to Swan and back to Robert Dyas and back to Swan again, I finally tried to register a formal complaint. Surprisingly no phone number or complaints department can be found. I put in a complaint through a third party website. I have only received generic responses. Finally after 5 months and over 10 emails I received a returns label. I have posted the kettle back. I then received another generic email referring me back to Swan! The customer service is diabolical. All the responses are generic. No one is reading the emails. I have sent photographs of the kettle on three occasions and have had no comment on them and was then asked to send photographs! It is unbelievably frustrating. I really do not know what to do. I am very worried indeed that I will never get a refund.
