If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I went to a store in Telford and purchased a pair of boots, within a week of having them the zip came off in my hand when I was zipping them up. I eventually managed to get back to their store in Telford who assured me that they had never had this issue with these boots before and persuaded me to have a replacement pair delivered to my home. All good you may think, however, once the boots arrived the zip on one already had the same fault, I hadn't even got them out of the box! I informed customer services and sent photos, as that is what they say they require when you've had items delivered that are faulty. Only to be met by an incompetent customer service that is not fit for purpose and are insisting that I have to go all the way back to their store in Telford to sort it out even though I had the boots delivered. Their response when I refuse to do that at my own expense is, well that is your decision. Great work shoezone! I do not recommend their boots or their ability to help customers when they have issues.

The worst company i have ever worked at. The “assistant manager” wasn’t like a manager had no compassion or sympathy. The rule was “leave your personal life at home” everyone preaches about mental health but clearly they didn’t care. Not forgetting about the fact i was singled out because of my race and treated totally different to the other colleagues. The “assistant manager” is also a very sly person re writing the rotas to make out as if i didn't turn up to my shifts. Me being there for 7 months got taught absolutely nothing where as another colleague who’d been there for a month got taught new things every week again simply because im a different race… that is absolutely disgusting behaviour. You get told to walk around straightening shoe boxes and when you do that they still moan about how you’re just walking about doing nothing. Mon-fri the shop shuts at 8pm but after 6pm maybe 5 customers come in. Sundays 10-4 but its starts getting busy at 12pm. I was contracted 4 hours and when i ask for overtime i never got anything where as another colleague same age as me contracted the same gets to work 20 hours a week so if people think thats getting treated fairly please think again. Just because i am a 18 year old does not mean i should keep quiet about how i felt working in that place where if im being honest never felt part of the team. The reason i was sacked was because I wasn’t “enthusiastic” enough how is that a valid reason. Alot happens in peoples lives but i forgot “dont bring your personal life in to work” so please if anyone think’s about even applying just take a long hard think. I must add how after my last day of my contract they rewrote previous rotas of the month to make it look like i never worked the days i were roted. Maybe i just had this experience because i was a muslim girl while everyone else was white🤷🏻‍♀️but the way i felt after coming home every shift wanting to cry because I didn’t feel part of the team and got treated differently well nobody should be made to feel that way. No such thing as a diverse team at shoezone.

Tried to return a pair of Hush Puppies boots to Shoe Zone in Gloucester. They were worn twice and leaked badly in a five minute shower. The manger told me that they are not water proof. Surely leather shoes can be worn in a shower of rain. Really disappointed in Shoe Zone they do not manufacture the shoes but all I asked was for the boots to to be returned to the manufacturers. Very disappointed in Shoe Zone and Hush Puppies. A total waste of £65.00

Horrific customer services. Got a problem? You can NOT rely on them to put things right! I distinctly got the impression that they couldn't give a **** about problems. Now, if you have customer services like that, you need to ask yourself why they don't care. I would guess that they treat the staff in the same way that the customers are treated; with indifference and a lack of interest. I don't buy from companies who have unhappy staff so I won't be using Shoezone again.

Bought these shoes and within one week a hole was appearing. Took them back to the shop to be told it was “fair wear and tear” …….. after 7 days . The reply from Shoezone was the same, “I could return them in its original state for a refund, but if they have been worn they would be unable “ it’s a joke!!

Ordered trainers to be delivered to local inputs lockers. The locker was faulty and would not open. Shoe zone messed me around for 8 days and refused to replace the trainers whilst the locker was sorted out but they knew it was never going to be repaired and ShoeZone just didn't give a damn and just gave me the runaround. They have disgraceful customer "service" and do not put customers first. AVOID Today (Saturday August 27th. 2022) ShoeZone "replied" to my review...this is the first time they have done anything quickly...and now they want to "investigate>" Well, they've had 10 days to investigate and did nothing but lie and lie and lie again. An honest company with integrity would have simply replaced the trainers to avoid messing the customer about but instead they just messed me around and think they can just walk away without consequences. I can see no valid reason to contact Shoezone yet again on the same email address to end up with the same pathetic nonsense. I have told them what they should do and I repeat it here....replace the trainers to make up for the mess you created by opting to do less than nothing....it does not take a genius to realise that to this day the locker has probably not been repaired. If ShoeZone are really bothered by the hits their reputation is clearly taking from this and other reviews I have posted elsewhere then they can damned well contact me. Just for all you prospective customers or dupes of ShoeZone, I just received an email from InPost, the company that runs the locker that would not open and who promised to send a "team" to fix it and never did and they now claim that they would like to help me get the locker open remotely. This implies that the locker has still not been fixed and the ShoeZone are being less than honest when they say my trainers have been returned to them which would be a little difficult as InPost still say the locker doesn't open. Does the ShoeZone duplicity ever end?

If I could give NO STARS I would, absolute appalling company with even worse customer service. I ordered some work shoes, first of all they use the awful company Hermes/Evri so it was lucky I even got my order after finding it dumped outside and they didn’t even knock. Then when I opened the package to find one of the shoes is damaged, I contacted customer service for them to offer me a measly £3 off and ask me to keep them. Now I’ve had to go out of my way to return them, I’m without shoes and I’ve had organise it. I would NEVER order from them again or recommend time wasters.

My 82 year old father purchased some shoes online, they were faulty, I contacted customer services to request a return in which they are refusing to do, my dad ordered online as he is disabled and cannot walk to shops. Also end of life. The only way to return them was to take into a shop, which he cannot do, unless somebody takes them back, this is upsetting him as it’s taking away the little dignity he has, not being able to do this himself, he bought them online, so should be able to return them online. Shame on you shoezone treating an elderly man in this way, I am so upset that you treat a person like this with no disregard to how your making him feel . You should be ashamed

Terrible and insensitive customer service. Delivery company Hermes as nasty as them. I ordered for several shoes in a large parcel. They claim it was delivered when it never was. I asked my flatmates and neighbors, who have always collected all mail in my absence and returned same, but nobody saw the parcel. I called customer service severally but they only gave silly stories, technically saying my hard earned money is gone. Now my family is so disappointed as I promised them shoes that never came. How can you deliver a parcel with no name or signature of the receiver. Even the tracking number doesn't work on Hermes website. FRAUD!!!!! Boots I bought in their store have opened within a month of wearing despite the so called warranty. Same with their slippers. Patronising ShoeZone is a waste of money and invitation to trouble! I don't know why the government still let's them operate.

Bought trainers 28th May, shoes worn once and already coming away on both shoes! Had receipt, took into store, assistant refused refund saying it was wear and tear, refused too look out of the receipt then said to leave the shop. Disgusting and appalling. Head office won't over ride decision and expect me to post shoes to head office at my cost

First time I ordered online due to low stocks/last damaged boot left in store. Anyway paid full pricey tag for the long boots, instead I was sent the cheap ankle boots which are totally different. How can someone not notice who was packing. How can you send a complete different shoe to what was ordered? The packaging was also poor, just plastic and no support/box. I now have to waste time and money to return them. Never using them again.

Absolutely dire customer service and they are quite happy to breach the Consumer rights act 2015. Purchased a pair of boots, they were worn for a few hours and the heels collapsed. Holes developed on the heel seam and as the heels are hollow this led to decompression of the heels. Sent back at my own expense and now they deny there is even anything wrong with them and are refusing a refund. Don't waste your money and time with this company. Worst I've dealt with and the head office customer service is laughable at best.
