“I’ve been buying sketcher shoes. For about 8 years or so but now something has changed in the last 3 years. The glue no longer holds up. The upper part where the rubber meets the leather is separating. I don’t mind paying $140. for a pair of shoes but I do expect them to last longer than a year. “Not sure if we are happy or disappointed, we bought a pair of mule tennis shoe my wife wears around the house and is falling apart. They were a Christmas gift, how ever the Store in Westfield Mall in Canoga Park California sort of made my wife feel like a liar, did not want a refund, just an exchange they were a not even a month old and because I couldn’t find the receipt, we were out of luck

“Bought a pair of the slip in's for my granddaughter.. The whole sole came loose and the tops still looks brand new.. This is crazy..Not a bad experience but a bad no good pair of shoes..Who are these people that's making these worthless shoes? If you know please enlightened the rest of the world.. “I have many times almost fallen in my Skechers, the soles on the bottom stick to certain floors in the stores. In fact I did fall this afternoon in the same store on the floor. I have really hurt my right arm and shoulder and two fingers on my right hand are numb. They are very comfy to walk in but not on certain floors as I said. I won’t be buying anymore.”
“Quality has decreased. Early this year I purchased a pair of Summits to replace my previous (1+year old), 3 months later after basic walking the new pair had a hole. I sent back for Sketchers to “investigate”, OF COURSE they wouldn’t take responsibility. Instead of a replacement, they offered 35% off, but I had already purchased via Amazon since the sneakers I sent back were my only pair. Customer Service said I should look for more traction/tread, guess Summits are considered house slippers (ridiculous). I declined the 35% because I’m never buying sketchers again. $65 down the drain AND my NEW pair already has a small hole after 2months!”

Definitely NOT WATERPROOF in regards to the upper, mine couldn't even cope with short wet grass, feet were sodden. Grip good, ideal for long hikes off beaten track....but definitely NOT waterproof. As shown in the pictures I walked through very short grass and and this left my feet soaked!”
“Have been wearing Skechers for about 5-6 years which were great. Bought a new pair about a year ago. Have fallen flat on the ground 3 times while walking. I was lucky enough not have had any bad injuries from the falls. Will not be buying them again. Very disappointed.”

“I have15 pairs of Skechers. Ive bought them for years. Always been happy with the shoes. About 11. mos. ago I bought a pair of Slip ins. Easy to put on & comfortable. Only wore these shoes 1-2 a week. You can see from the pictures where the heel has wore down. I paid $90 for these shoes & they aren't worth $10. Very disgusted.
I have tried 10 times to download 1 picture of the shoes. Will not download. The inside heel of both shoes is wore down to white filling in heel & it is very unfortable to wear them because I can feel the metal in the heel. Co tact me by email so I can mail you pics of the shoes.”
“I've had 3 pairs. The first, about 5 years ago lasted well, but the sole parted from the upper after about 2 years, with still plenty of tread. The 2nd pair lasted about 9 months, with a similar issue. The 3rd pair lasted 4 months with the upper leather degrading. Not again.”
“Earlier in his year I purchase a pair of Skechers. The sole is two-toned with part of the profile in a darker tone which is laminated to the base. On one of my shoes a part of this laminate is beginning to delaminate!! I need a replacement!!!”
“I bought them from shoe show. I admit they are comfortable but I have busted my butt twice on wet floor. I work 12hours a day and I thank God I didn’t hurt myself a couple of bruises here and there but I’m ok. Won’t buy work Skechers again”
“Purchased a pair of slip ons with the built in shoe horn. Great idea and work very well once you get your toes in the shoe. Typically sketchers slip ons are very narrow on the top of the shoe thus making it difficult to just slide your foot.”
