“Bought the Slip on's after about 2 hours after wearing began to hurt on the under outside of my foot. The next day my foot was a bit tender the following day couldn't put my foot to the floor with the pain and a week later it's still the same or worse. Have Plantar Fasciitis and am now going to doctor to get treatment and have to take timeoff work. Horrendous experience, wouldn't recommend to anyone. And having since spoken to people with the same experiences.”

And Bottom sole is very squeaky on tile or laminate flooring. Bottom sole also wearing down quickly. Only had them 4 months to wear to office. I dont wear them every day.
Mostly carpet so should not be wear I g this fast. Bottom sole too soft and squeaky.
Customer service wants me to nail them back to them and they will decide if they are defective. What are they going to do….wear them around all day to decide? And if they are not eligible I may not get them back. Weird service. No thanks. I’ll get another brand.”

I’ve had a terrible experience with this company. I paid twice to buy shoes online, and both times ended up losing time and money.
First order – I paid online and selected in-store pickup. The system showed my size was available, but when I went to the store, they told me it was out of stock and said I’d get a refund. Complete waste of time.
Second order – I ordered another pair of shoes online and waited three weeks. After sending multiple follow-up emails, I was finally told the item had gone missing. They refunded me but deducted the shipping fee, which I find unacceptable. Why should the customer bear the cost when the mistake was on their end?
No proper follow-up, no apology, and no accountability.
Extremely poor system and even worse customer support. Very disappointed.”
“Bought a pair of sandals. Within a couple of months the strap began to wear resulting a twisted loop, making walking uncomfortable. I complained and they said there must be a manufacturing defect, and had me ship them back. Three weeks later I got a message saying that based on the PHOTOS In sent, it was normal wear and tear and only offered me a 35% discount. Very cheaply made and would not recommend buying under any circumstances.”
“My daughter suggested I try Sketchers mens shoes and I am very sorry I did. I bought the Vertex Arke, wide width. I feel like I have 2 cider blocks on my feet as they are very heavy. Also because of the raised heel and level toes I feel like I am walking down a ramp all the time. I will, in future, go back to New Balance or Dr Scholls for sure.”
“I purchased a pair of Skechers Go Walk Arch Fit sandals (TAN) from their Jodhpur store in April 2025. While they were initially comfortable and seemed well-designed, I was disappointed to find the insole started wearing out and tearing within just three months of normal use. I’ve reached out to their customer support requesting an exchange under their warranty policy, and I’m currently waiting to hear back. I hope they address this issue fairly, as I’ve always trusted the brand for quality.
Until then, I’d advise potential buyers to be cautious and check the durability of the product before purchasing.”
“I've recently bought 2 pairs of shoes from this company.
What a waste of money!
First shoe, a trainer, after walking in them for maybe 2-3 months (not even walking very far), had a huge hole appear in the sole. Terrible quality.
Second pair were walking trainers. These were even worse, all of the threading on the inside of them came apart after walking less than 300 miles on regular footpaths. You can feel the material breaking away as you walk them, feels like you constantly have stones in your shoes (first pair did this as well, but not quite as badly).
Tried contact skechers and they genuinely couldn't care less. The quality of their shoes is a joke, but the biggest joke of all is a Shoe company, yes Shoe company, cannot even make Shoes (what their entire company is based on) that can be walked in. Such a farse of a company.”
“First i want to start out by saying I've been wearing skechers for the past 5 - 6 years and never had any issues. I always purchase 4 pairs a year. I use my new pair every 6 months do to my planter faciatias and heel spurs. The last 4 pairs I recently bought are a huge disappointment. All they do is squeak when I have them on. “One Star - Extremely Disappointed with Store Manager's Behavior
I've been a loyal Skechers customer for years, but my recent experience at the Glendale, AZ location (7720 W Bell Rd) on 7/13/2025 left me shocked and disappointed.
I visited the store with a simple question--where is the wide shoe section? When I asked the store manager, she responded curtly that she was helping someone else and immediately turned and walked away without any further acknowledgment. Her tone was unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which caught us off guard for such a basic question.
When we later approached her to express how her behavior made us feel disrespected, instead of apologizing or clarifying, she doubled down on the attitude and told us to leave her store. I couldn't believe that level of unprofessionalism came from someone in a managerial role.
This is not how any customer should be treated, especially by someone who is supposed to set the standard for customer service. I hope Skechers takes this feedback seriously, because experiences like this make customers think twice about supporting the brand.”

“Been wearing Mens sketchers for many years but last two pairs have been poor in quality and a different feel.
Rubber coming away at the toe end. Overall feel has changed.
It looks like they have moved manufacturing to some other cheap manufacturing plant.
I am now actively looking for a different make.”
“The customer service is so confusing. Some are really helpful, and others are just so nasty. The info or training given to customer service is all over the board. Every call I have made for mainly the same reason has different answers. The quality and sizing has changed over the past couple of years. I can no longer wear Skechers. Nothing fits right anymore. What has happened to the quality of the employees and shoes?”
“All 3 pairs have gone in the bin within 18-24 months of purchase. Comfortable at the outset, but then deteriorate quickly even with moderate usage (no running or hiking). The soles go flat very quickly indicating poor quality materials.”
