“Hey everyone, I just wanna give you guys a heads up. I was dealing with sketchers on a pair of shoes. I got a year ago as defects happen before the year. I just let it go, but the defects started getting worse on both shoes and when I try to deal with the warranty thing, I had to find my receipt as they don’t use bank statements I finally found the receipt it was over the year And then Skechers said because it’s over the year we cannot do nothing for you as a consumer they should have better understanding as to find a receipt that’s about a year. It’s harder to find if they don’t like to look at the bank statement so for my shoes at first, they sent me an email saying to go to the store and get them to look at it all so they could do the warranty as I did. Send it all in but you gotta go to the skechers.com Not the.ca for the warranty thing as the receipt was held up on the .ca now they say we can’t do the warranty so for all consumers be aware of their faults”
“I love all my sketchers!
The only problem is I like to wear them barefoot.
The tiny lable in the tongue is made of latex.
I'm allergic to latex!
My fix is cutting the lable out.”
“I love the Skechers I have that tie so the thought of the slip-ons was desirable. I tried on several pair at Academy. Every pair would slightly slip at the heel when I walked. I was disappointed and will not again consider this style. I'm perfectly fine tying my shoes.”
“The soles of the shoes came apart after wearing them for approximately 18 months. Although the shoes were comfortable, I can't afford to purchase a shoe which doesn't give me full use.”
“I have been buying the Bobs by Skechers for a while now. I usually buy three pairs at a time. I went to buy them again and they showed up with a different sole material. I loved them because they were very cushioned. The new sole feels cheap and hard. It was disappointing because I have a lot of hardware in my ankle and finding shoes that work is almost enough to drive me crazy. I hate that they changed the shoe😔”
“Purchased a pair of shoes from Skechers online. After about 3 months of wearing the shoes the interior lining started falling apart and rolling up. Had a similar problem with a different pair of Skechers as well. Certainly not made to last long - low quality shoes.”
“Skechers opened a store in York, PA last week. The radio ad said the for the first four days, all purchases were discounted 40%. The sign in the window said all pitches 40% off (see photo). I bought a pair for f shoes that were on clearance. When I paid for them, they were full price. When I asked why the discount wasn’t taken off, the clerk (he was very nice) said there is fine print on the poster saying clearance items excluded. Why didn’t the radio ad say that and you had to be 5 feet away from the window to read the exclusion. You could see the 40% off all purchases from 100 feet away. Another customer said, “That’s unfair.” I didn’t buy the shoes. I felt cheated. Be careful.”
“Approximately a year ago I purchased a pair of shoes from Skechers store. The number of the shoe was sn237608ww. They did a major change in their inner soul for this shoe. Needless to say what they replaced the memory foam cushy stuff that was in my old shoe with something I could get in any store. Needless to say it did not purchase any shoes from that Skechers store. Probably will never again because of the switch in the uncomfortable inner soul. I have sensitive feet and those were the only ones that I could use and walk without pain. At that time it was buy one get one for half price. I had purchased a comfortable casual shoe that had the same kind of memory foam that was in the shoe I mentioned earlier in this review. They did the same thing that one. And now I have a pair of shoes I don't wear that I brand you because they switched the memory foam. Did not realize that till I got it home. Needless to say I did not wear those for several months so I could not return them. This is my opinion and I'm sticking to it.”
“I have had several pairs of Skechers over the passed 10 years.
I am currently on my 3rd pair of foamies because the Velcro does not hold on 1 shoe on both pairs. Only wore them one summer.
Disappointing.”
“I've had a pair of sketchers for 15+ years? Ugly black things but still very very comfortable. I keep washing gently, I wear them dog walking, grocery shopping, anywhere I have to walk alot. Never on vacation, too ugly. That said newer sketchers, are of poor quality, and not comfortable for long comfy wear, you can feel it right away when you put them on. Happy with my oldies, hope they last more years. SHAME ON YOU SKECHERS, WHAT HAPPENED??”
“I was a brand loyal customer to Skechers Alley Cat and Tom Cat for 15 years . So durable as I work on concrete floors .
As of the past 3 years all pairs I have purchased have had failures in the leather upper . The last pair of Alley Cats have the surface peeling off in just 2 months of semi- regular wear .
Something has changed in your formula.”
“Shoes fit perfectly in a store, very soft and comfortable. However after using them only for a week left insole start to relocate and wear off. There are wear holes around heel area only one week of use! One week! I used them with brand, new socks, no running, just slow 2 mile walks! Photos below.
They were 75$.”
“Comfort is the only reason I buy sketchers 2 pair twice a year. As of this week I will no longer be a customer. The issue isn't the Sketchers it's the customer service. I bought two pairs on 3/25/25 and had to return or swap out a pair due to size. I was told I had to pay 10.85 for the exact same shoe but one size larger. I had just received a 10 dollar discount from Sketchers. I have no problem paying 10 dollars more for them, when i bought them not to swap them. Called customer service and they said i would have to deal with the store i bought them from. If 10 dollars means that much more than your customers then I will find another brand to buy.”
“I was ready to check out standing at the registers. The young man saw me turned his back I wasn’t sure if he was an employee so I walked down the isles and this girl was shelving shoes. I asked if there was someone who check me out and it was the boy. In my world I’m paying his wages and he should treat me like I’m very important. If I did not really want the shoes I bought I would have walked. This store is on 288 in Pearland Texas”
“I have owned several pairs, they were all comfortable. The problem is they all came apart at the sole at around one year. Even their
work shoe shed it’s sole prematurely. Too bad because otherwise a pretty nice shoe. I won’t be buying anymore.”
