Cheap products but appalling service - Take your gamble From other reviews, it seems if you get your product delivered you can appreciate the cheap price. If you don't get your product delivered the service is appalling. Today is 14/3/20 and on 6/12/19 I spent £549 on a camera, tripod, lens and battery equipment package that got lost in transit by FedEx. FedEx admitted the loss and have written a letter to that effect. I provided the letter to SLRhut (they made me phone their carrier and chase through the loss!), but they won't refund me, because the FedEx web-tracker says it has been delivered and FedEx say they can’t change this, but I suspect it’s more likely to be, because they only declared the value of the package to be £119 on the FedEx paperwork and that would be the amount they can claim back from FedEx. I escalated to Paypal through 2x claims and SLRhut won't talk to me anymore as they insist it is out of their hands now, even though both cases are closed! I have provided Paypal with the FedEx admission that they lost the package in transit, but in both claims Paypal have accepted the evidence of delivery provided by SLRhut which is the FedEx web-tracker which shows the package was delivered 6/12/19. FedEx insist they can't change the date on here and that's why they provided the full admission of liability for the loss on headed paper that I have provided to SLRhut and Paypal, but they keep saying they cannot accept this letter. Only what it says on the web-tracker that I can't get changed at the moment! Paypal also suggested I appeal to my bank by making a 'Bank Claim' which you can do with 'Debit' as well as 'Credit' card payments, but I was told by my bank that as I use Direct Debit to pay Paypal I had to use the 'Direct Debit Indemnity' scheme. Unfortunately, the ‘faulty’ transaction has to be between the bank and the company providing the products so having Paypal in the middle has actually removed this protection. I will continue to try and get FedEx to change the date on the web-tracker and to get SLRhut to stop saying "this is a Paypal dispute and their hands are tied", until such time as I get my refund. I'm also moving into the next phase of contacting Money/Consumer websites and organisations and press and there's still the small claims court to follow that.

Avoid like the plague if you're a UK based customer. I was called and didn't answer, they then emailed me asking that I call them and held the line for 25 mins (on 2 occasions) as they're unable to ship my order, instead they wanted to up sell some items which I purchase. They then shipped my item out late, despite me paying an extra £10 for a delivery within 2-3 days. I subsequently couldn't take the camera on a lifetime holiday with me. Sick and twisted company that only cares about sales.

Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Waiting over a month for my order, no communication, no apology, no explanation, and no idea on when I might receive the order. When I stated that I wished to cancel the order I received a very curt email response. I will not be using this company in the future.

They do not even deserve 1 star, ordered item on 26th December, delivered by FedEx who lost the parcel, FedEx have refunded SLR but I am still fighting to get our money refunded, no item and no refund and customer service is the worst I have experienced, now refusing to answer emails and when I call they hang up, say they are UK based which is a shambles as from America. DO NOT USE THEM unless you want to be ripped off!

Awful. Avoid this company like the plague!! They will try and up sell you stuff you don't need by telling you lies. Don't expect a refund if you are mis-sold Any items. Their rude customer service flat out refuse!! Currently perusing through PayPal. THEY ARE NOT UK BASED!! AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Buy from a British registered company. Not these cheats! You have been warned.

I ordered a go pro 8 for £399. I was home and FedEx states it was left on my doorstep. So because i spent less that £500 it wasn't signed for delivery. They said it was left on my doorstep. (Dog didn't bark) so theyve delivered it. I will attempt to claim via paypal but based on other reviews that's not looking good. I'm heart broken, this is such a lot of money and they have no intention of replacing the lost camera. It's so close to Christmas I have totally been scammed. If I send a parcel worth more than £20 I'll get it signed for. Also not a UK company. I feel I should be protected by laws to prevent this scamming behaviour. It should be really really clear when you order that they will leave it on your property, or say they did and you have no cover whatsoever. I have no evidence it was even sent out only FedEx stating they delivered to my house when they clearly did not.

I was worried about ordering with SLRHUT as there’s so many mixed reviews about the company. I ordered a monitor on Friday and received it the following Wednesday really happy with my order cheaper than anywhere else and got everything I expected with good customer service. Overall happy and would purchase again

Do NOT buy off this website! Doesn't matter how cheap it is its not worth it. I ordered a camera that cost over 500 pounds and the item never got delivered. The delivery report says it was left on my back door step. My property does not have a back door. Even after showing evidence of this to SLRhut and paypal I am not entitled to my money back as it was delivered! They have not helped me at all and just keep copy and pasting the same "not are problem" email to me everytime I ask for advice. Heart broken as I've no Camera and now no refund.

This company is a scam!!!! their customer service is the rudest i have ever come across, 2, canon comes with a one year warranty, and my camera broke after 8 months and they told me it only had a 90DAY warranty, DO NOT USE THEM!!!! read thier policy, you will know from there, they hung up on me when I told them canon gives a one year warranty, USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!

AVOID!!! I read the reviews on this company and thought ‘hey why not’ give them a go, I ordered an SLR bundle for my daughters birthday that I was assured I would receive in time... Did I?? No!! I called up to be told the item was delivered that week which it hasn’t, when I challenged this I was told to speak to the delivery company but was not given any info or reference numbers just a LOT of poor customer service. I then got another email to say the item had been delivered so called again to be told that they had sone their job, the delivery company had done their job apparently leaving £280 of goods on my door step??? So it’s now my problem DISGUSTING ATTITUDE!!! So SLR hut have a policy that if your item is less than 500 dollars they don’t care if you receive it as not guaranteed delivery (sounds like a scam) In essence if are spending over 500 Dollars carry on and order from these absolute thrives other than that don’t do it as they won’t refund or help you even if paid through PayPal. Better to pay more and use a trusted professional company!!!

I phoned what I thought was a London number, but was speaking to the USA, however, everything went fine, the camera was easy to track and was delivered as expected, I am very happy and would buy from this company again

Customer Service was very good! Camera was ordered on Monday morning, and it was dispatched from the USA and delivered to me in the UK on Wednesday morning - very fast and efficient! Only downside was; I thought the camera being delivered was Lumix G80 (PAL) for UK. However, it was Lumix G85 (NTSC). I am hoping that I will not be experiencing any difficulties - finger crossed!
