I called to verify the order status and was informed it would ship on the day of my call, with an expected arrival by next Monday. This is a 4 business day delivery period, despite Daylight usually taking only 3. The order was dispatched 2 days later than promised and while it will arrive on Monday, it should have been delivered by today, Friday. The representative was aware of the delayed shipment.

The website is great. Price is competitive, shipping is a problem, its way too much. The product quality is a B average. I Have to peel off top layer of every roll and relabel the boxes. They are loose rolls and label material is not top but acceptable. If I didn't have to rework every case we would be doing better.

I have rated a 3 for a few reasons. Pros - Working with Teri on a sample request was a great experience! She was very helpful, through the process, and we were able to get them promptly. - online ordering is a great feature when it's working - The labels I ordered were delivered in 5 days (*reason for the 3rd star*) Cons - When ordering the labels we ordered, the website said "3-4 week lead time". I had expressed the need to get the labels as soon as we could. When I asked if this lead time was accurate, if there were any of the labels in stock or anything we could do to expedite the process, I was told "no, 3-4 weeks is accurate". - My frustration comes out when I received an email from UPS, a few hours after I placed my order online (on 3/9), that my order from Smith Corona labels is shipping and expected for delivery on Monday 3/13. Due to the 3-4 week lead time we had to reschedule work with our customer for 5 weeks later because were not expecting the labels for that amount of time. Better visibility of labels in stock for your customers would be very helpful. We could have saved a lot of headaches on our end if we would have known the labels would be able to be shipped immediately. We would have even expedited the shipment to ensure we can meet our customer's schedule.

Quite disappointed with our latest order. I placed the order in early December - the 3rd I think? It is finally out for delivery tomorrow - January 30th. I am fine with the delay - I understand all the supply issues and absolutely forgive that. What I am frustrated and disappointed by is the lack of communication regarding the delay. No one reached out or talked to me. I had to make contact a handful of times to get information.

Ordered 1- 4x6 roll, and 1- 3 x 2 roll. I know it is a small order but I only received the 4x6 roll. I called after receiving the 4x6 roll, approximately 2 weeks after the initial order. I had to call about the 3 x 2 labels and was told I will not receive those because there are none in stock. If I had not called I would have never been told why the 3x2 labels where not received. A little communication would be a great thing. People were very nice but follow up is great. Thanks

Excellent customer service. The only issue I had was the roll tail glue didn’t hold on 3 of the 4 rolls I ordered.

This was our first order. We needed labels to ship same day so I was told it would be best to do online order using credit card. For the first order, it was hard to tell what to do online regarding the tax exempt certificate - the question was there but it didn't tell you what to do - I had to call. I did get an email saying I could place my order. Placed order online and gave our Fedex account # and paid by CC (this was Friday 4/8) - order was placed before 10:35am . The order did not ship Friday and then it didn't again on Monday (they said carrier didn't pick up). I was disappointed for our first order.

Even though they advertise same day shipping, they do not always meet that goal - in fact sometimes it is days to get an order shipped.

we buy pallets of labels several times per year. Typically an order ships a day or two after being placed. This was over a week.

Placed order on line (P5329 Oct 27, 2021). No indication item was not in stock or when it might ship. Got email confirmation right away stating order received and I would get another email when order shipped. Again no indication that item not in stock and that a ship date not known. Like most businesses in this situation, I assumed that order would be shipping shortly since nothing was said to the contrary. Nope. Not a word after several weeks. I went to my account for information. NADA other than order was recieved. I sent email message (thru site) asking what was up. NADA again after several days! Finally, I did a chat with a very helpful fellow (wish I could remember name) who quickly found out there was no stock and a shipping date not available. Pretty poor customer interaction right up to that point! I had to initiate everything. Wasted my time!!! Chat fella offered to send labels with "freezer adhesive" that were in stock. I asked, and he confirmed, they would work fine in my company's situation. So .... lots of wasted effort on my part. If SC had simply said something like "no stock, shipping Jan 1" I would have placed order anyway. Now, I've had to spend even more time writing this when all I should have had to do was click 5 stars and be done with it. Chat experience only thing that saved it for a 1 star review.

Didnt like that they put an authorization for the amount of the order on my debit card and then again when the order ships. In my case the pending charge authorization stuck around for over a week, not allowing me access to that money. Would suggest that the authorization be for $0 not for the total amount of the order.

Bill, Sorry for the delay. Your order was placed on 4/7 and we shipped it on 4/8. According to the tracking, you should get it this Thursday (4/15).

When ordering labels it wasn't clean the adhesive used on the label. I assume "all season" = permanent. I needed temporary adhesive. How do I specify or determine that? Seems like a pretty basic question that shouldn't need to be asked.

Recent 2-1/4 x 1-1/4 labels are difficult to peel off the backing. We have had this issue with 4x6 in the past too. The backing paper is also thin and sharp, cuts hands easily.

The website was fine but the amount of time to ship the item and the cost is very bad. We ship packages in our business and I know the shipping prices very well. I also didn’t understand why it took so long for you to ship it.

I have not received the product yet. Getting way too many emails, since placing the order. My comment on the order has not been addressed. The shipping cost was $4+ higher than the estimate - I would have thought the actual cost would be more reflective of the estimate. I'm happy to give a review again after I receive the product. Thank you.
