Sofa barely two years old and fixed cushion now too flat to sit on. Padded up with cushions. Two emails before I got standard response of being out of warranty (by one month). Sent them consumer rights letter explaining the warranty doesn't matter if goods not fit for purpose. I was then assured my issue had been passed to priority team and would receive a reply within 2-24 hours - this was 8 days ago. 2 emails to them have since been ignored. Shocking attitude towards customers who clearly spend a lot of money for shoddy goods

Ordered a sofa and rug in-store and was looked after by very friendly sales staff. They took us through lots of options and helped compare colour/material swatches. Left the store feeling confident in my purchase. This was in early September. The sofa was delayed delivery twice. First time I was given the excuse that Covid delayed the construction. Second time I found out about the delay on the expected delivery day. When I called about what time to expect the sofa (it was past 3pm) I was told 'sorry, the day you selected is the day the sofa is delivered to the depot'. What?! The sofa was delivered a week afterwards and I'm happy with the end product. However the rug... When purchasing the rug I was told it could be delivered within a month of ordering, but I opted to wait until the sofa is delivered. Well the rug hasn't arrived a month after the sofa being delivered. It's failed to be delivered three times! Every time I call for help the staff inform me they've emailed "the warehouse" and the "the warehouse" will get back to me within a day. Two weeks and multiple follow ups and this warehouse or Sofology has never contacted me to discuss the missing item from my order. I've written a formal complaint to Sofology by email and haven't received a response after a week. Every time I call them I'm on hold for an hour at which point I give up. Terrible customer service and I couldn't recommend them to anyone based on my experience. I dread my sofa having any issues because I don't want to deal with Sofology ever again!

So far not too happy. Ordered sofa in September based on their advertising of "Order now and sofa in time for Xmas, they draw you in, customer service very pleasant, you purchase and sign up, only then comes the phone call a few dsays later to advise they can't guarantee in time for Xmas but she said "you got your nhs discount though" meaning I should be happy with that. And yes I did get 15% off " if purchased instore", however the online price was the same price as my discounted price".

I ordered a 2 & 3 sofa set back in June on a 12 week lead time which was pushed back to 16 weeks (covid related - fair enough) only for it to be delivered today and one of the sofas is the wrong colour. The replacement sofa is going to take 20 weeks! 36 weeks, 8 MONTHS (!!!) in total to get the right order. I am so disappointed. Not only this but the delivery driver noticed that there was the same issue with his next drop! I can say though, that the delivery drivers were lovely and the sofas look decent so far. Customer service has been so-so. The people are nice but cannot actually offer any guidance or help other than what you can see on your sofology account. It has also taken me between 30 and 60 minutes to get through on every occasion I have called. After spending £1800 with them I really wish we had spent our money elsewhere.

I have been a waiting for over 5 years to buy my sofa and only found the one l like at Sofology last year. I came across these reviews before I head out to the store. I’m shocked and amazed to read these unfortunate stories but thanking God l haven’t bought them yet! Can’t believe there are approx. 2 out of 30 Good reviews. Shocking!

Bought a three and two seater leather sofa from sofology about 6 weeks after delivery the seat pads had stretched and are rucked up .The back cushion on the 3 seater is loose and baggy the filling not now filling the leather . we contacted sofology technician came ,seemed to be looking for manufacturing faults and because he couldn't find one gave advice to stretch the seat pad leather after each time sat on and bang and pat hard the back cushion. The technician also advised NOT to sit in the same place on the suite each time you sat down. Got a call from customer services who stated that no manufacturing fault and as far as they were concerned the matter was resolved despite the fact they knew we were still not happy. So the leather rucking on the seats is NOT a manufacturing fault . The back cushion now not being filled out by the cushion is Not a manufacturing fault. Not being able to sit in the same place on the suite to lessen the above Not a manufacturing fault . Not interested at customer service, seems that if the technician says no manufacturing fault you are wasting your time because as far as they are concerned all is well. but remember don't sit on the suite .I have had previous leather suites from the company without issue so why on this occasion.

Purchased a Parma 4 seater electric recliner sofa December 2018,,had them out a few months later,,because pins were sticking out of recliner foot area which I scraped my fingers on while cleaning,,...recliner mechanism stopped working 1 YEAR later!! Technician said motor has gone,,new one coming in 10-14wks!!,,,been a right eyesore over Christmas with recliner flapping,,,we paid a lot for the sofa,,& didn't expect this after 1 yr....I won't be recommending Sofology to any one,, very disappointed

Purchased from sofology in November 2018 the staff in the show room were very helpful and polite. We received our new suite in April 2019 with 25 years guarantee on the frame and 2 years on the filling/seats. In October 2019 I made a call to sofology as I was not pleased as the seating had started to sag and gather, they ordered for a technician 😂to come out in a few weeks. The 'technician😂 turned up and the outcome of his visit was it's because you are sitting in it too much ( REMEMBER 6 MONTHS OLD) was told to keep moving seats ( remember you set your TV in certain places for good viewing) as he said sofology will not do anything as he found it not to be a manufacturing fault and would report back as this. Sofology gave me a call a few days later and said they would send out a new inner as a gesture of goodwill but this is where it ends. Their 'technician 😂 is due out to fit this inner '15 jan 2020 let's hope this lasts longer than 6 MONTHS. . What ever you do DO NOT fill in your feedback till you have had your suite/sofa for a few months. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND SOFOLOGY TO ANYONE. All they are interested in is taking lots of money for something that looks old in 6 months, because as we was told (DON'T SIT IN IT) HOW MANY OF YOU REARRANGE YOUR ROOM TO SIT ON YOUR SUITE 🤔 THINK BEFORE YOU BUY! By the way no kids or pets and out at work!!! So you can tell how robust their products are 🤔

Canterbury Sofa material of poor quality and had all bobbled after 6 months of use ,sofology wouldn’t do anything about and advised us to buy a de bobbling machine as this is normal that it should need de bobbled weekly . They maybe should advertise this when they are selling sub standard material sofas and give you a de bobbling machine when purchasing the sofa .

Damaged when arrived! Took 6 months for someone to come and repair! Would not recommend despite the sofa looking lovely in our living room!

I purchased a Chiltern 4 seater sofa and chair 12 months ago. I have just had to have the armchair repaired as the arm rest was broken. I was surprised to find out that the frame was covered in cardboard. Poor quality. If this happened after 12 months how long before it happens to the rest.

I had chosen a sofa but wasn't quite ready to order, got so many emails everyday and was unable to unsubscribe. I phoned customer service twice but still the emails keep coming, spoke to Oldham branch and cocky sales girl who said the emails weren't from Sofology, made me so annoywd.

Don’t bother with the insurance they have a clause to get them out of everything waste of money ,and they cleaning kit a waste of money too

We had our sofas delivered today and have noticed too many scratches on the door and the wood taken off which makes look bad specially when we have a big function at home next month. Please can someone ring us back. Kind regards Sneha

Whatever you do please read the reviews before you buy! Fantastic sales Talk, but if you have a problem with the furniture THEY DONT WANT TO KNOW. If I could turn the clock back I certainly wouldn't buy from Sofology!
