“I am taking my complaint to trading standards via the Citizens Advice. I received a fake perfume, I have been purchasing the same for over 8 years but usually purchased elsewhere. I tried the Fragrance Shop for a change. Huge mistake. £86 down and they won't refund or replace. I would recommend anyone who has been ripped off by this company to contact Citizens advice and take them to trading standards. Very dishonest company.”

“THIS IS SUCH A TERRIBLE COMPANY IT MUST BE GETTING TO THE THEIFS BECAUSE THEY HAVE STOPPED ME COMMENTING ON MY OTHER FACEBOOK ACCOUNT AND TOOK MY COMMENTS DOWN ASWELL THEY ARE NOTHING BUT THEIFS...THEY TOOK 201.39 OUT OF MY BACK FOR NO REASON AT ALL NEARLY 2 MONTHS AGO AND I STILL CANT GET IT BACK OFF THEM 200 QUID IS A LOT OF MONEY BUT THEY DONT SEEM TO SEE IT THE POLICE HAVE BEEN IMFORMED AND MY BANK IS TRYING THERE BEST TO GET IT BACK BUT I TELL YOU NOW KEEP WELL AWAY FROM THEM AND IF YOU BLOCK THIS ACCOUNT I WILL MAKE ANOTHER TWO CAN PLAY AT THIS GAME....... DO NOT BOTHER WITH THEM......”

“False advertisements saying you get a free gift then after 3 days and 3 tickets logged get the usual fob off saying only if gift available should of stayed with my normal supplier, as at least they don’t take 3 emails and 3 days to even get a response poor customer service will be taking my money elsewhere and would advise others to aswell.”

“Shocking customer service! An error with their website resulted in them sending me the wrong product - no fault of mine. Yet their dealing of the situation was dreadful: certainly not how to keep customers! AVOID!”

“This company is beyond terrible, the epitome of incompetence. Words fail to convey the depths of my frustration with their abysmal service. Avoid them like the plague, unless you enjoy burning your nerves and receiving nothing in return. They are nothing but scammers, liars, and masters of wasting time.”

“Took money for membership I knew nothing about , disputed it they said will refund didn’t disputed again said will refund didn’t left review on another site asked me to contact them let people on their fb page know exactly how they are working they asked me to message them I did they didn’t reply instead blocked me from their fb page I am doing a chargeback on my credit card to get the money back im not standing for it they will be refunding me no way am I allowing this company to help themselves to my account if you have any sense you will not use your card in shop or online I used mine in store they asked for email for receipt and are now taking for a membership ! Who needs a membership for perfume or aftershave are you insane”

“Did not receive the order I ordered over the Internet. I got fobbed off with something else that smells similar. I would not and will not order anything else from the fragrance shop I give it 0 out of 10”

“Probably the worst customer service experience I have ever had. My order was not delivered to me as expected. After contacting customer service, filling in the correct forms and many back and forth emails, I was told a refund would be immediately processed and would receive my monies within the next 5 working days. This was confirmed in writing too. Over 2 weeks later nothing. I am being told now that was a mistake and I will have to wait a further 30 days for an investigation. I NEVER received or signed for the order. I have been refused to speak to a manager as apparently you don't have any. I find customer service staff are unhelpful and extremely sarcastic to the point of rudeness. You offered me a refund over the poor service and failings of your company in writing and now are trying to say that was wrong. POOR POOR POOR! If I could tell 1000 people don't ever buy of this company I will! My order number is FWUK58230722 for your info!”

“I have sent copius amounts of emails to this company regarding the wrong item being sent to my address. No reply from an actual person just automated messages. Iv read all the complaints about The Fragrance Shop and i wish i had read these comments before ordering. As i wouldnt have ordered. I will also be giving people advice not to order from this company. Absolutely disgusting customer service. And there is no point replying to my comment on here, anyone from The Fragrance Shop as you did this last time, i followed your guidance and yet again no reply from anyone!”

“I have worn Chanel Coco Mademoiselle for twenty years and purchased from this company as my usual supplier was out of stock. £124 intense, thought I would opt for intense as I love this perfume and get comments every time I wear it so expected even more of the beautiful aroma as It leaves a trail that lingers. To my horror after applying, the aroma disappears after about half an hour and my partner cannot smell it at all. I’m so disappointed at their response which was they want to send away for testing. After wearing Chanel perfume since the age of twenty that’s 40 years in total, I know this brand and the perfume The Fragrance Shop sent me is most certainly not authentic. DO NOT BUY CHANEL from these people. I am now in dispute and intend to take this matter further”

“Ordered some aftershave advertised as £42 plus 15% off with code so great price until I clicked to pay and it flipped to a much higher price than I’ve seen across the whole Web of £55 by which point payment had been made. Customer service refused to refund the difference although many screenshots have been sent showing the lower price going into my basket etc. Scam..will not be using again and god knows if the stuff is even real!”

“I sent back 4 perfumes which were received by the TFS on 9/6, I am still waiting for a refund. They only reply through trustpilot to put up a brave face in front of the public but they are ignoring my emails.”

“I wish i could give less, 1 star is a compliment. gift set for GF's birthday was spilled an damaged upon arrival still in box, empty! 2 weeks of back and forthing with "Laurentiu U" got me nowhere. After 7 images of every conceivable angle they closed my case. No refund no return no nothing! Thanks for the waste of a time gift, il never shop with u again your customer service is horrendous your process of complaints is terrible and worse still you dont even care! As of this morning iv had to initiate a returns that i will have to travel and go out of my way to send back, because of your messup not mine, im the customer?! I order online, it arrives. Thats how it works, if i wanted to walk about id have gone to a store!! Useless utterly useless. AVOID TRUST ME, THEY COULDNT CARE LESS. AVOID!”

“Avoid these crooks! I ordered 6 Aramis deodorant sticks and received 6 Aramis anti-perspirant sticks. Unfortunately, there is a huge difference- the anti-perspirant is white and leaves a very visible stain on clothes. I have tried contacting their customer support 4 times and they don't even bother replying. All I asked for was a refund and/or the product I actually ordered- I was and am willing to return the faulty merchandise. I told them I intended to inform the world and this doesn't motivate them to reply to me! Stay away from them!”

“Feel conned and ripped off and really never had such awful customer service. Supplied defective product and then won’t accept a return or give a refund - terrible apathy of customer service - BUYER BEWARE!!!!”
