Received incorrect perfume - ordered Chanel No. 5 but got Mademoiselle. Very disappointed because it was for my friends 60th birthday. Had to jump through hoops and take photo's to prove the incorrect item was sent. Read the return policy which is way too complicated. So bubbled wrapped it, returned it. They refuse point blank to refund me. They wont confirm receipt of the item and they wanted more photo's of how it was packaged and proof of postage...... awful, dreadful customer services.

The Perfume Shop are con artists. I went in store and bought a Chloe Perfume for £72 presuming it would be the large bottle I regularly buy from other retailers for that price. However when I got home I discovered that they had sold me the small 50ml bottle for £72. John Lewis and Debenhams are both selling the large 70ml bottle for £70, yet The Perfume shop are selling the smaller 50ml bottle for £72!! Terrible customer service and refused to give me a refund. Will never spend money with them again.

I placed an order on The Perfume Shop website on 3/8/19 and subsequently emailed their cancellations dept on 4/8/19 to cancel the order before it was shipped. Despite the cancellation, the product was shipped on 5/8/19. Delivery by Royal Mail was refused and tracking shows that the product was successfully delivered back to The Perfume Shop on 12/8/19. I followed up by email twice since, on 8/8/19 and 12/9/19 and have received no response. I subsequently telephoned The Perfume Shop on 15/8/19 and was told the item had been received back in the warehouse and a refund would be issued. Since then I’ve had no meaningful contact from them and I am still waiting for a refund and explanation of what’s happened.

I ordered a perfume for my sisters birthday, 3 to 5 days delivery, 6 days later no perfume and no trace of the item, perfume shop customer service absolutely terrible, have phoned every day and they continue to fob me off, not a good first experience. Will never recommend this shop

Where are my items bought 6 to 7 weeks ago never received them you now tell me the courier has delivered them where is the proof of the person who signed for it or date none don't think I shall get a refund either never again scam

Recenty purchased 2 perfumes. The first order i didn't receive a confirmation email or my perfume through the post and they took the money out of my account. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried to purchase the perfume again as they said they were having technical issues the first time. My item has not arrived and they keep fobbing me off. Will be contacting the ombudsman

Staff in Bromley store upper level absolutely amazing......however customer services and online purchases shocking! I spent a whole week chasing up a £50 refund after they admitted liability from their warehouse!!! Never use again unless in store! If I could score them minus I would.RUBBISH!!!!

Bad experience with exchange. When you go for buying they welcome you if you wants to exchange then they show you the worst side . Also they give price match but when you show them online that another store has a cheaper one they are so rude and say to you your more than welcome to buy from the other store then. Unreasonable and extewmely irrational. My fiance gifted me a perfume using an online order and they accused me of stealing the perfume from the person who ordered it, which was him. Then the lady had the sass to say that my ID didn't look like me, so she was going to refuse everything and then she was so horrible to my mother. Never going to go there again. You pay so much and they accuse you and treat you like dirt

Poor care of employees, who looked disheartened by poor management and a bonus scheme aimed at cheating them out of money owed to them for good work
