I have purchased a tom ford gray vetiver online to collect to collect from the store and it and there is no smell also bought chanel mademoiselle again the bottle loons fake and the smell does not last. They sell a fake. Is this ompany legit or are the staff exchanging goods.

** WARNING TO PERSONS BUYING FROM THE PERFUME SHOP ** AT THE TIME OF ORDERING YOU GET THE OPTION TO REQUEST A FREE ITEM, ONCE YOUR ORDER IS PLACED AND PAID FOR, THE NEXT DAY THE PERFUME SHOP SEND A MESSAGE TO SAY THE FREE ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK AND THAT THEY HAVE DESPATCHED ONLY THE ITEM YOU PURCHASED AND PAID FOR! THIS IS CRAFTY SELLING. I HAVE CONTACTED THE PERFUME SHOP, THEIR CEO DOES NOT RESPOND, YOU JUST GET AN EXCUSE FROM A CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT I AM THINKING ABOUT CONTACTING TRADING STANDARDS. I HAVE CONTACTED BBC WATCHDOG ROGUE SELLERS NEED EXPOSING Placed an order yesterday for a perfume on The Perfume Shop website. Today I received an email stating that the free lipstick was out of stock that I was entitled to. The whole reason I made my purchase from The Perfume Shop was because of the free gift. WHY THE PERFUME SHOP DID NOT SEND ANOTHER FREE ITEM IN IT'S PLACE I DON'T KNOW VERY UNFAIR WAY OF SELLING AND VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have sent an email to The Perfume Shop CEO for their thoughts on the matter. Reply to Megan the option should not be changed after the event of a Customer ordering, it could have changed their mind ordering. I WOULD NOT HAVE ORDERED IF I KNEW I WOULD NOT HAVE GOT THE FREE GIFT IT IS FALSE SELLING

Perfume definitely did not smell authentic as I’d been using the brand for years. I queried whether it could be stale. Either way, complete waste of money. Plus, when I complained the customer advisor was very patronising.

I ordered 2 perfumes but arrived just 1 of them. They did investigation and they said everything was fine. But this is not true. I lost 90£, no perfume no money. Avoid this service. I don't recommend them.

I asked to purchase a bottle of Hugo deep red and was told they only had the large at £62.00 but i could have a 10% discount and i agreed to this, when i came to pay they wanted all my personal information as they wanted me to have an account when i refused they withdrew the discount and the assistant was rude, I left and purchased a large bottle from Superdrug at £30.00!! Hopefully the Perfume shop will close down as these people can only be described as Wasps stinging people and we all know Wasps are C---s.

I bought a small bottle of what I thought was the real Alien perfume, smelt ok but I just knew it didn't smell as it usually does. I came across a small sample bottle I ordered online from Notino and it had the real Alien perfume smell, absolutely gorgeous couldn't compare to this awful copy at the Perfume Shop in Inverness Scotland. They are selling fake perfumes. There was this offer VERSACE EROS GIFT SET for under £50 and when it arrived it is so obviously fake!Fake bottles, box and packaging and the scent doesn’t last. This specific fragrance isn’t even supposed to have “Eau de toilette” written on the bottle. This is so disappointing. I won’t return it because I’ve seen the rest of the reviews and apparently if I return it back, I might never see my refund ever again. So I’ll just count it as a lesson and move on. I paid for next day delivery only for it not to arrive the next day so i contacted them via WhatsApp asking why i paid for next day delivery if i wasn't going to get it the fay day, they asked for my order number ect so i sent it straight away only to be ignored, bad customer service, and next day delivery comes 3 days later so don't be fooled

I think there are 2 The Perfume Shops online. A very good fake and the real one. I unfortunately ordered from the fake one, which it appears a lot of these reviewers have also done. My order has not arrived and the only way to contact the company is by email and the email address is not The Perfume Shop. The online tracker shows the perfume coming from China and the tracking info is in Chinese. I have emailed twice and no response. The logo of the company is the same and it even shows stores but you cannot log onto your account and when I checked my bank the payment was made to The Leggjngs Store. Please make sure you are using the genuine company before buying

awful awful organisation and incompetent staff. website is more often than not crashing; placed and charged me for an order twice and I had to battle to get one of the two orders cancelled and when I recieved the order, some items were not included. Within 1 minute of sending a whatsapp message to customer services, a silly customer services representative sent a long text confirming she checked with the warehouse and they confirmed checking and disptaching all items. I asked for evidence and all she did was send a line, clearly an extract from screen, showing SKU (which is the item number) and 2 beside it. when I asked for evidence that they did indeed include all items in the box, they said they dont have it. never again, useless website, terrible untruthful staff and rubbish service

Not even worth a star purchased perfume of 69.69£ for 30 mins collection mail. they had no stock so had to wait for few days so i cancelled it. Its been several days everytime i ask for refund they say 3-5 working days and i never receive my refund. No one is answering properly. It seems that i won't get it back. Don't know what to do. I have all the conversation with them in mail.

I,ve got to admit I HAVE purchased items from these more than once..........and to be "fair" the service was 5 star..............10/10............no-complaints.............perfect!!!!!!!!!!,,,,,,,,,,,but..............the actual perfumes themselves HAS left me wonder is it because their old stock etc and the items have "go-off?????????????????".................because they just didn,t smell like they "should etc.............if it was a one off I wouldn,t complain but this HAS happened to me....3/4 times.................

This would be 0 stars if possible. It is the second bottle of perfume which is either expired or not authentic. Their customer service is shocking. They give the same "mantra" and state customers can become nose blind, despite being told it was tested in another retailer before purchase and lasted days on a coat. They want it send back for testing but they send back out if they think its okay! Why would anyone go through all this but also an opened, unsecured liquid surely should not be then sent back for a customers use. Claim with your banks if you have this option so they do not get away with this service

Think twice about wasting money and expect shocking service. I bought aftershave for a Xmas gift and when it was opened it smelt nothing like it should. I contacted them and they advised how to return it and what would happen. I returned the product and heard nothing. I chased this and was toldnthey did not have it.. royal mail had delived it several days earlier so they did.. I them had to chase this again to be told you can't gmhave a refund it has been opened and sprayed!! You don't say...?? I have now had to email again and explain the issue again this is infuriating and unprofessional.. Go to proper perfume shop and don't waste your money on goods that are not what they are supposed to be and shocking service.

The online account service is rubbish !!! You put your details in to login and then the site refuses to log you in, on the grounds that your password is wrong. So you change it to create a new password and then when you put the new password in, it still refuses to log you in !!! Try to put your details in originally and it wouldn't let me put my date of birth in. The when you get your account card, the stupid site refuses to let you match the card to your account. Well Ive had enough !!! The Perfume Shop has lost my custom !!! Id rather go to Boots and pay the extra. At least I can get better service there. Your online service is a joke !!!

Useless And it’s all fake products or either expired with NO FRAGRANCE, Before ordering, I did ask if this is original .. The response was .. YES This is worse than Dischem expired perfume.. Advice,, buying cheap will cost you!!

Ordered a perfume worth £50 received an empty opened parcel and the perfume was missing!! It’s Royal Mail delivery which was not even signed for and the postman just threw it on the door step. I contacted the perfume shop and filled out form and sent pix of the but they got back to me to say that the warehouse confirmed putting it inside the parcel before posting. It’s not my problem that they chose the cheapest way of mail and didn’t seal the box properly. I paid £50 for nothing. I’m really so disappointed they wasted my time as I had to email phone and fill many forms and money for nothing. Never buy from them rubbish customer service and they are a scam

I ordered a perfume for my sisters birthday, 3 to 5 days delivery, 6 days later no perfume and no trace of the item, perfume shop customer service absolutely terrible, have phoned every day and they continue to fob me off, not a good first experience. Will never recommend this shop

Recenty purchased 2 perfumes. The first order i didn't receive a confirmation email or my perfume through the post and they took the money out of my account. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried to purchase the perfume again as they said they were having technical issues the first time. My item has not arrived and they keep fobbing me off. Will be contacting the ombudsman
