I wore TM Lewin Shirts from 1999 to 2020. They were always awesome. I didn't need to buy new shirts until recently but the new shirts are a pale imitation of what they used to be. Yet the price is the same.... I will never buy this brand again.

Unacceptable product quality compounded by deliberate delay tactics. I purchased five T.M. Lewin t-shirts. Two of them shrank significantly on their very first wash, despite being washed exactly in line with the care instructions. That is a clear failure of basic quality and durability. What makes this worse is the company’s response. Rather than resolving the issue promptly, T.M. Lewin have repeatedly attempted to delay and deflect, asking unnecessary questions, disputing obvious evidence, and dragging out the process instead of taking responsibility. This feels like a calculated effort to frustrate the customer into giving up. Under UK consumer law, goods must be of satisfactory quality and reasonably durable. Clothing that becomes unwearable after one wash does not meet that standard. For a brand that markets itself as premium, both the product quality and the after-sales conduct are extremely poor. I have no confidence in the brand and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere

I had a very frustrating experience with this company regarding both expedited shipping and customer service. I paid an additional $40 for expedited shipping, which was clearly stated on the checkout and confirmation page as 3–4 business days. However, my order was not even fulfilled until two days after I placed it, despite my proactive follow-up emails on the day of ordering, the next day, and again after still seeing no confirmation. This led to a delivery estimate well beyond the promised timeframe - 6 business days after my order. These delays completely undermined the point of paying for expedited shipping. When I reached out for a refund of the shipping fee, I had to repeatedly chase customer support, only to be told that the company would not honor what was advertised at the time of my purchase. They refused to acknowledge that their previous commitment had not been met. Throughout this process, responses from customer service were slow and often dismissive, consistently failing to acknowledge my evidence or repeated attempts to resolve the issue. Overall, I feel misled by the false advertising of their shipping speeds, and very disappointed in how customer service handled my case. I spent time, effort, and additional money, only to be left inconvenienced and ignored. I cannot recommend this retailer, especially to anyone relying on timely delivery or responsive support. I'll be taking my business elsewhere for now on and recommend others do too.

Ordered two slim-fit shirts and I'm very disappointed. They are now overpriced for what you get. I've been buying TM Lewin for over a decade, and I will no longer be a customer. The latest shirts are a different cut, thinner material and just feel cheaper in their construction.

Bought four shirts to replace my old TM Lewin shirts. They had different labels and I noticed that the old style label shirt was the same quality that I was used to, but the new label shirt was of much poorer quality and fit and now has a flimsy collar and cuffs. The two 'Max Performance' shirts were more similar to the new style than the old. I guess since the takeover all their shirts will go the way of the new style one, so I won't be buying from there again. Its a shame as I've been wearing their shirts for over 15 years.

Used to buy all my shirts from TML. Recently placed an order for two shorts - terrible quality! Once was a 'performance' shirt which looks scruffy and worn out all the time. The other was patterned and has faults in the fabric. Such a shame and I am no longer a customer now.

A company manager from this website called me, claiming to be an analyst recruiting people to trade and earn money. All the money I deposited was the minimum amount, $125,000 A few days later, they praised my ‘success’ and said I needed to increase my deposit fivefold to maximize efficiency. I added more money and started trading. I reached out for assistance several times, only to find out it wasn’t free either! When I had a significant amount ready for withdrawal, they said I had to pay taxes and fees. Expecting my profits, I didn’t question it. After another transfer, my account was blocked. No one contacts me anymore, and as you might guess, the scammers kept my money without allowing me make my withdrawals i contacted a recovery agent called alexi victim with the email address alexivictimhelps @ mail . com who was able to recover my funds if not I would have been in tears with this company

I've just received a shipment of work shirts. The quality seems to have suffered since coming out of administration (twice) in recent years. No longer the brand it once was. While I have worn this brand for years, I will be buying my shirts elsewhere in the future. Sad to see another quality brand go down the tubes!

Similar to all of the other reviews on here.. I have bought from TM Lewin for around 13 years and spent £1000s with them. Having just bought new shirts they are worlds apart from what they used to be. They have clearly changed suppliers and have gone downhill. Unfortunately I won't be returning to them

Same as other reviews. After 15 years of wearing TM Lewin shirts I was so disappointed with my latest order. Got some of the newer batch and truly the quality has dropped. They are no longer a lovely shirt - everything from collar cut, material, cuff cut (now have a cut away shape), thinner collar that sticks out, plus even the shirt tags are all inferior. I have to face facts - no longer the same brand

What has happened to TM Lewin? I’ve had a relationship with this company for over 30 years and my most recent experience has been appalling. I ordered five shirts, they arrived but some were of a different size, I contacted them straight away sent pictures as requested and asked if they could send me the right size, their answer NO. I pointed out that it was their mistake, still NO. At no point did they offer to send me what I had ordered, I could if I wished order more shirts and then go through their returns policy. This is NOT what any customer should experience, truly woeful, when I explained that my order was incorrect the customer service representative said “we sent you five double cuff twill shirts” as if the size doesn’t matter…. Incredible.

Quality has gone downhill. They have a new shirt supplier, I received 2 of the old and 2 of the new, the difference in quality is massive! The new shirts have a different collar style and thinner material, but most importantly the non-iron shirts aren't actually non-iron anymore and I had to buy a steamer just to get them to look respectable. I noticed that I only ever had to steam the new supplier ones despite drying them at the same time and in the same way as the old style ones.

Ordered 2 shirts, colour "Navy Blue" THEY ARE PURPLE!! YIKES! I have returned and been told that it is 25 working days for a refund! It doesn’t take Evri 4 weeks to make a delivery and it doesn’t take 3-5 working days to issue a refund. A 5 week turn around on a refund is miles behind the market and is pretty poor customer service…. I’m sure you will agree…? I don’t NEED the cash… it is more the fact that in 5 weeks, I will probably have forgotten to check and currently their business is not filling me with “customer service” confidence Yours underwhelmed… the demise of a good brand unfortunately... This is 1 thing, them holding on to their cash for a long as possible My primary concern is that they are doing to go out of business before I get my £100!

I bought two classic suits, each with an extra pair of trousers. After the first wearing, the pants showed signs of balling in the crotch area. Spent about £1000. Worst purchase of men’s wear in my life, I’m 55 years old. Won’t be going back, ever!

Ordered and paid for 4 shirts during the Black Friday offer and after 5 days of waiting i requested an update. Only then i got an email YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN CANCELLED due to No Availability. Of course they dont provide a phone number ! After i complained they told me that they believed it was a fake order (fraud) because my billing and shipping address were different!! They didnt even have the decency to check with me before cancelling my order and wasting my time!!! Never to use again!!!!

Poor! I ordered three items from TM Lewins website and because I was on a bit of a tight schedule paid the extra for next day shipping, the items arrived the next but two of the three items were incorrect. I tried with absolutely no success to find a number for customer support, you have to email them. So that’s what I did explaining I needed a quick resolution. However I reordered the two wrong items to be on the safe side again paying the extra for next day delivery (those two items arrived and are correct) I set about sorting a return for the two incorrect items. No paperwork was included with the ordered items so you have to download a form on the tm lewin site which is a bit like finding the lost ark then arrange collection via Evri (Hermes) that was supposed to happen yesterday, but nope! the box is still in the porch and I’m 90 quid out of pocket until it gets sorted. All in all a really, really poor shopping experience.

I ordered around a dozen shirts over two orders back in June. Having tried them on I decided to return a few. Almost a month later I have not received a refund. I have contacted TM Lewin multiple times to discuss and have not had any response. Having been a loyal customer for the past five years I will never shop there again due to the terrible customer service.
