“This is the worst company I has ever dealt with in my life. First they say you have a credit limit of 1200 dollars but you have to pay half of your purchase then they run your credit every single time you try to purchase something which really hurts your credit I am definitely done with this company. Fingerhut can get all my money before I go back to Montgomery Ward”

“I opened my account but slippers and curtains overpriced of course . My first payment I paid 4 times what was asked the next month I was overdue ??? Seriously so I just paid it off after multiple calls for 10 dollars they won't get my business again . 2 payments and paid off and will never shop with this company again . Trying to build my credit and this isn't the way to do it . This company is by far the worse !”

“Received a bill saying I ordered some items for around $360 and to send a check to them. I never even heard of Montgomery Ward until that letter. I definitely won't be sending them jack squat as I didn't order anything.”

“Just FYI the Montgomery Ward company has gone way down hill... just ordered from them and not only did they advertise the item incorrectly and then separate the set (quadrupling the price) after I ordered, the part of the product I got is also terrible quality. I think it’s time they just went out of business. 😒”

“Their products are dated/old, and way too expensive!!..they are not an up to date company, they sell stuff that looks like it's from the 50's and 60's. Their shipping is ridiculously high. I have credit with them, but I wish that I didn't, and I don't buy from them, there is absolutely nothing that they have, except for Clarks shoe's or sandals, that I want to buy, and now they don't even have much of Clarks. They really need to go out of business for good, this is the worst store I have ever known!”

“Order some sheets and other stuff and they had me on 5 different account and then they were supposed to link them together and never did and they were calling me telling me I was behind on payments then I just paid on half of the last account and they then charged my card double and tell me that in order to get a refund I have to fax them my bank statement showing where they charged my card 2 times. Will never order from them again.. I would not recommend them to anyone 😕 worst company ever 🤬 and not worth the hassle or the money that I have spent for the past 10yrs!!!! They just lost my business and customer service sucks and they are rude and don't know what they are doing. BEWARE U WILL BE OVERCHARGED AND NEVER GET UR MONEY BACK FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!”

“Their customer service is unhelpful and snooty. You can have a perfect credit score and be denied credit because they think your last name is too common. When you pay cash for an order, they take so long to process it that you’re guaranteed to have problems of some kind. Plus, every order must be approved for shipping even if you’ve already paid, because they want to be exclusive to the hoity toity. Just an all around terrible company.”

“In my bill I found advertising for BLM I called the manager asking why she is sending out racist propaganda?Do you support this Hatred?” **she says this “if u don’t like the BLM advertisement ,throw it away. We support their other organizations Too! “ THATS ALL I NEED TO HEAR 😡YOU JUST LOST MY BUSINESS! Selling nasty sheets imported from China. Blood stains on one pillow case. One pillow case was sewn the other was not. On ALL 4 sets I ordered. They will not take them back or refund as it’s been over 30 days. Even if it’s bodily fluids, no exceptions. WOW. I’m stuck with defective items. The Health Department should check quality control. I talked to one lady she was snotty & rude, She refused to let me speak to a manager... so I used *67 called back. I was now talking to THE MANAGER who actually listened and took 25% off entire order of over $300. IM stuck w 5 sets of overpriced bad quality sheets. Don’t give up on nasty customer service, demand a manager. After hearing that they support BLM & ANTIFA I paid my entire bill off and deem them unfit for business of mine ****ALL LIVES MATTER*** BOYCOTT THIS BUSINESS. BUYER BEWARE WHERE IS YOUR MONEY ACTUALLY GOING? I would give you 0 ZERO stars for traitors and thieves. I AM DONE WITH THIS COMPANY. BAD NEWS NASTY PEOPLE NASTY PRODUCTS. Blood 🩸 on new sheets from China? 🤮 How mad would YOU BE????? 😡”

“Since covid understand working from home my bill from them never comes early enough and then they want charge me a late fee. Been a customer with them 15 years or more. Even called 2 times for my last name to be changed. Still to this day they have not.”

“I order a tredmill i thought it was going on the mongromery credit but it went on my credit card 754 dollars i called to cancel it twice and they both said it was cancelled i got an email to day saying they coudnt cancel it because it already shipped that was a lie i just want my money back”

“I have been trying to re-establish credit and had this account for over a year. Keep sending catalogs saying pre-approved to $400 but never lets me order over $100. Now with their unethical shipping charges that merchandise is usually in the $40-$50 dollar range so after the horrible shipping charges, I can get a product. I ordered a wonderful set of dishes for $39.00 & they charged $50.00 shipping. My advise: Get FINGERHUT!! They are high but often offer free shipping. I've had them for years. You expect higher prices when you have to deal with these companies but at least you may get away from the horrible shipping charge. I wish Montgomery Ward wasn't allowed to gouge people who already have income issues or they would just go to Walmart. Some of us need to make monthly payments but don't deserve to be overcharged for shipping!”

“PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!!! The customer service is past unprofessional and rude, they have no regards to their customer feelings and will refer to you as other races and sexes, which bottomline is RACISM at it's finest!!! They will take money out of unauthorized accounts sad to say and will demand that they are in the right. I was told to wait 3 to 5 business day for the theft refund and now being told another 2 weeks for a check refund. Unacceptable and refuse to do business with a company that should've closed in the 80's when the stores did. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE SCAM ARTIST!!!”

“DO NOT. under any circumstances order anything from this bloodsucking corrupt Montgomery Ward company.. I paid off a $275 And now getting billed for late charges that I do not owe. A lawsuit should be forthcoming if these dishonest corrupt criminals are not stopped from taking advantage and literally robbing customers.. The BBB should be notified of this crooked corrupt company and the Attorney General of your state..this has got to stop.”

“In December of 2019, I paid off my Seventh Avenue account early on the 5th of the month. Montgomery ward is the sister company of Seventh Avenue. On the morning of December 5th I checked my banking app on my phone to see if 7th Avenue was debited from my account. It was and underneath was a 50.00 debit withdrawal from Montgomery ward whom I never had purchased from. I immediately called both companies who had different stories. First was fraud, the accusations someone in my family had opened an account. I live with just my husband and we are both 56 years old. The calls to them were useless. Finally a few months after dozens of calls I demanded a list of what was supposedly purchased. I got a letter stating "Purchase " then the amount of 50.00. Now I'm out of 50.00, but they sent me another statement saying I owed them yet another 50.00 for a purchase. Fuming I called Montgomey Ward and they said they were sending a fraud packet for me to fill out. I received a piece of paper relaying the instructions on the following pages to be filled and sent out ASAP. There was just a single paper nothing else. Well, they took 50.00 from my account without authorization in Dec.and now wanted another 50.00 plus late charges. I ignored the mounting pike of letters until I received one threatening me with collections. Also, they said with the filled out instructions on fraud I must have it notarized. Now, this is currently now in the COVID-19, my bank lobby is closed, no notary is open, I dont drive due to disability. I knew I lost my initial $50 they stole from my bank account, and they wanted another 50.00, I paid off the second 50.00 plus late charges to get them out of my life. I am currently demanding a pay off letter before they swindle me out of more money, then the BBB will be called with my bank account statement from December of last year, plus the past statements of demanding $57.00 more. I'm put of $107.00. Please dont associate with this scam company. They need to be shut down!!!!”

“They continue to charge late fees even if your payment is on time you have to call every month to get it removed. Even if your bill is 10cents off they charge you $15 late fee. And their sister company, seventh Avenue is the same.”
