Your website is horrible I have tried on numerous occasions to pay more on my account and it’s set up to only accept the minimum payment. Which means it’ll take me longer to pay out I’m so done with this!!!

Your website is totally useless,can never seem to delete my older order,everytime I try it just keeps on adding more stuff on my order.SOME TECH PERSON NEEDS TO OVERHAUL YOUR WEBSITE SITE BECAUSE OF THIS TOTAL POOR WEBSITE I will not recommend this to anyone. I will tell all my clients to never use this worthless website ever.GOOD LUCK MONKEY WARDS,GET WITH THE REAL WORLD

This company is horrible!!! When I placed my order, I was told that I needed to make a DOWNPAYMENT on my order, when I clicked on the option, it took the whole damn amount out ($344.99). When I finally got in touch with someone, it was like I was crossing the line because I got upset and I told them that the company was promoting false advertising and that I wanted to cancel my order and get a full refund. In the FAQ's, it explains the down payment requirement and that is TO PAY A PORTION of the order total. The second person I spoke to about it just took notes and transferred me to another department. Why in the hell do they hire people to just take notes? I get the next department and they had to put me on hold for about 10 minutes, just to come back and tell me that the credit was approved and my debit card was charged. I finally got my order canceled, so I thought, and was told that the order number was my confirmation number. I called back 2 days after that to check the status and my damn refund was never issued!!!!! There should be a negative rating you can put on these types of companies.

I have been a long time customer. I enjoy the catalogs and ease of ordering online. I don’t shop much, but have built up substantial credit. Not sure what happened, online it states I have $1500 in available credit. I ordered a $80 perfume and am being declined. Customer service doesn’t explain clearly what is going on. I may have to stop using the account. They have some unique merchandise, it’s not worth dealing with customer service though. I am now giving them a poor review.

If you get a bill from these guys I’d really suggest having a attorney to close the account for you. They told me to throw away the 60.00 worth of garbage and my account was closed. Six months later I got a bill for 1,500.00 so I called and they said the account was never closed. They couldn’t explain why I hadn’t been receiving invoices and they wouldn’t even tell me where the supposed garbage shipped ?. I told them to jump off a cliff and they put me in collections. It messed my credit up but I can just ask the credit managers to actually look at my credit report. The typical response is “these guys aren’t in business any more”. I just financed a new Toyota in August at 1.9 % so I can work through it. My actual credit rating shows low now but I’m okay with it because there’s been far less identity theft for me. Stay away from these creeps, I even told the young lady I was talking to she should be ashamed of herself for working here

I used my catalog to order a curio cabinet for my Mom. Since it was for her, she authorized via telephone with customer service that it was her card. They didn’t take info on my Mom (i.e. name, address, phone, etc…..) and credit card company stopped the payment. We tried to stop shipment and it was already on the way. It took 38 phone calls to get a return label to send it back. We sent it back and Wards kept crediting (we never paid) and credit company kept sending credit back. 40 calls later, this is now in collections - we sent the item back - what is the problem? Incompetent workers and slack customer service is the problem - company needs to clean house for sure.

I have been with them 2016 have great credit never missed a payment and the company didn't take out a payment for March and I figured out my bills and they send me a Bill For April For A Double Payment Witch comes Driecitly out of my checking account And Never Missed A Payment Sense 2016 And My Credit Limit Is Very High. Because There Company Didn't Not Take Out My Payment For March And I Called Them And Told Them They Wouldn't Do Anything For There Company Mistake And What Me To Make A Double Payment After I Am No A Fix Income And When I Figured Out My Bills I Figured That The Payment Would Be Taken Out. But It Was Not. Now They Want There Payment,But Will Not Pay My Back Overdraft Fee. Or Just Skip This Month Payment Because There System Screwed Up. By Not Taking Out The Payment. So There Customer Service And There Manger Won't Do A Thing About There Mistake . And Want Me To Give Them Double Payment Next Month Or Pay This Month But Won't Give Back The Overdraft Fee. They Don't Care About There Good Outstanding Customer That Have Been With Them From 2016. I Ask Do You Want To Loss A Good Customer Like Me How Have Never Missed A Payment Since I Have Been With Them. There Manger Didn't Care If They Loss Me Or Not. And Wouldn't Do A Thing About There Own Mistake!!! They Don't Care About There Good Customer With A Outstanding Record. And Have The Time When You Try To Order Something. They Are Out Of Stock. So I Would Say Don't Deal With Montgomery Ward. They Customer Service Don't Care About There Customer. ALL They Care About There Money And Not There Mistake. It Not Like I Made The Mistake. There Company Did Or There Worker Did Not Take Out There Payment And I Figured In My Bills It WOuld Be Taking Out Has Usual For The Last 7 Yesrs !!! There Manger Of From Community Back Could Give If They Loss A Good Customer Or Not. They Didn't Want To Do Anything About This Mistake That They Made Or There Computer Made Or The Worker Missed. I Am Pay Off My Bill But I Will Not Order Another Thing Though Montgomery Ever Again.

not happy with customer service or the credit dept/i am still waiting for a refund to my outside of wards credit card to be refunded/been over 2o days, every time you call its someone different and they give you a completely different answer. i lady called me from the accounts' dept, today feb 22,2023 at 10:50, she was checking for me my account, she put me on hold, we got cut off and when i tired to call back the another agent answers and gives me a completely different story and says my account isnt current. none of these agents tell you the truth, each of them come up with a different story or answer

I've been with company for over 30 years. I started out on my grandfather's account and when he passed, I took it over. this past October I went to make my payment and I noticed that someone had hacked into my account and purchased $160.00 worth of merchandise and when I notified them, they reviewed the account found out that it was a fraudulent purchase and closed my account and now that it was closed for that reason the company will not issue me another account. They said that if i wanted to purchase something then I would have to pay with a card. I will not ever order from them again! So much for being a loyal customer.

I had a bad experience with this company. The credit department personnel is very arrogant. I contacted the company on or around November 17,2022. I made a new order and asked why they needed another credit check when I already had a credit account. They told me it didn't matter; this was their policy. The customer service in the credit department is not good. I do not recommend them to anybody. They're not a consumer friendly

Another report of their "easy credit" policy. Items sent to my elderly father that he didn't order (he never has ordered anything online from any company). Now they are asking us to jump through hoops to "prove" we didn't order anything. Looks like anyone with a name and address can order on credit with just a name and address. They require consumers to jump through hoops to close the account, and keep sending bills in the meantime. Imagine if you couldn't cancel your credit card when there was fraudulent activity. That is exactly what Montgomery Ward does (and other Swiss Colony brand names like Ginny's BTW). FTC should shut them down.

A bill just came to my husband for a fragrance product he did not order. He does not shop at Montgomery Wards in person or online. This company seems to h ave a very lax policy about opening accounts and allowing fraudulent purchases.Noow he has to prove to Montgomery Wards that he has reported the fraud to a government website and send them the copy showing he has reported it. For some reason Montgomery Wards will not tell him what address this was shipped to so he can alert authorities and they can go direct and arrest them. Something is fishy about this company.

It would be lower if I could... there products are worse than dollar trees. I had a police scanner never worked and a surround sound system never worked. Now my account is paid off and they are still sending me a $50 bill.

This company assist fraudulent activities to make money. They make it easy for frauds to happen on purpose just so they can try to collect money. They won't even release the order information to me since they claim I am the purchaser. How is that even possible?

This company is basically used by thieves, if you ever receive a bill from them it is because someone else is ordering stuff with your info and this company does not care.

I have a product purchased as a gift and later found it had no hardware. Called to try and get the hardware and they were rude and 0 help did not even try. Very dissatisfied with their less than poor service!!

Worst customer service ever! Not only do they hire a third party who when you call aren't sure which company they are representing or anything about the company but allow the very same customer service to put other people's orders on your account without verification out of maliciousness. When I called in about the almost $700 order that was put on my account by someone other than me, I was told it was phoned in so it was okay and I could not ever have any orders delivered to my account as a solution. So it is okay to have your third party agents who work for several companies at the same time use my info and account to make orders for other people? No safety, no security, no service.

Montgomery Ward allowed someone to use my name to order over $300 worth of items without a credit card or any other form of payment. A bill from this company that I had never heard of just showed up in my mail. After spending 45-60 minutes on hold several times to speak to rude Customer Service Reps they said my only course of action was to file paperwork with the federal government and then fax or mail a copy to Montgomery Ward. I did just as they asked and a few weeks later, they mailed me an "overdue bill". Another hour on hold and several more rude Customer Service Reps later, and they suggested that I email the form again. Oh and by the way, they informed me that they have already taken action to damage my credit rating and they will only retract that once I fax them this form. That I already faxed to them. I have never had a worse experience with a company in my life.
