“I ordered the 6 foot pre-lit Christmas tree. The tree arrived on time but it was missing the feet for the stand. Contacted them the very next day which was 11/20 . I was told that they would send me the legs out immediately. Today is 12/6. I have called them every day for a week and I've gotten different answers every time. Was told that it was coming through the postal service, no tracking number or reference number to find out where it was, finally got a tracking number yesterday. Called FedEx today and was told the barcode was unreadable and they needed a new one. Called Montgomery Ward again and told them what FedEx said. At first I was told they didn't have that tracking number after raising my voice and wanting to know who I was speaking to then I was put on hold for 10 minutes they finally found the tracking number and said they saw FedEx request for a new barcode which they were sending them. I will give them a few more days and then I'll be calling again.”

“I received boots so narrow that I can't even put my hand in them, much less my foot. I filled out my return and took it to the carrier. They needed the code. I called customer service to be told I had to PAY to return it! The price was 52.00!!! I will sell them on Ebay, pay it to this rip off scammer company and NEVER purchase ANYTHING from them again!!!”

“From October 09, 2025 until today when calling Montgomery Ward 1-888-557-3848 to make an order because of the heavy accent of the foreign people on the other line 😞 I was not able to make my order now when I call after giving my EZ# and order key # the phone disconnects. Pure unprofessional”

“I faithfully paid Montgomery Ward off and on time but because they are affiliated with another company who over charged me won't extend me credit and I have not paid them because I'm ha be ing them investigated I have all my bills and PYMT statements from this company these are two different companies my status with them should have nothing to do with Montgomery Ward”

“Montgomery Ward is a SCAM Company I ordered a fence and rocks for my flower bed outside and paid for them with 2 money orders the fence was shipped out 4 weeks late and I never received the rocks so I sent the fence back and called and told them to send me my money I don't want the fence without the Rock's and talked with several customer service representatives and kept me online each call for over 3 hours and then stopped taking my call and never sent out my money I'm reporting them to the BBB and the FTC and whoever else will help me get all of my money this company is a lier and cheats senior citizens out of their hard earned money I will never purchase anything from this company again and I'm telling all my family and friends not to buy from this company they will try to keep your money. I will be taking legal action against this company I want my 203.15 sent to me ASAP I'm not going to stop until I'm fully paid all of my money. I would not have given them a star you deserve to be put out of business because you're a bunch of CROOKS. See you in Court I have the receipts.”

“I bought what I thought it was a set of cold wedding bands only to discover that they were gold plated nowhere in the description doesn't say it is gold plated they brag about get the strength of cold. I feel very deceived I have to think twice now about using Montgomery Ward”

“I ordered a wingback chair it fall apart month's later coming apart from the arm leg on wingback chair it was Burgundy I called Aug 25,2024(&)again on Dec 20,2024 and we talked about my chair and I said what about what I paid into the chair already which was $50.00 on june 25,2024(&)on july 18,2024 $103.00 it was agreed that I would get the money back I paid into my chair back which was my payments of $50.00 because it fall apart she said 14 to 30 days well I called today 1/24/2025 this was a hot mess customer service I said ordered number 3or 4 times she act like she couldn't remember my order number now when She get on the her computer froze for a couple of minutes after i was placed on holded a few times I said what's the problem I gotta keep repeating my self with this number I'm very mad right about now because I been dealing with this since Aug 25,2024 I asked for refund slip to be mailed they said it was coming it never came called again finally I got the slip through the mail sept 9,2024 started my process with FedEx they came to pickup i needed a box I was tolded they would give us one not true FedEx they don't give boxes to nobody so now we got to find a box for this big chair we rode around and rode around to fine a box after weeks later I finally got one at a Big lots store had to go to the furniture dept now I got to buy tape and make arrangements with FedEx again for a pickup now it's 11/20/2024 I will never buy nothing from this company ever again bad customer service for one Montgomery wards they bring you through so many changes and I was lied to about my refund $153.00 I paided on that ragged chair that wasn't cheap to buy it was $385.88 total cost Big Disappointment”

“All their electronics from this company stop working Everytime I called in I received so many rules. 60 day policy for returns and they claim they couldn’t find my accounts after 3 years. What type of company is this! That’s why they lost their stores in person close the whole company down! It’s a shame they are getting over on people and they’re a bootleg company! Go out of business don’t order nothing from these people”

“Went to set up payments on line. The website asked me when I wanted to set them up. I said the 25th of each month. I then was double charged for 150. I have talked to them five times. I was told the money would be refunded. It has been 7 days. No money back yet. I will be sending everything back. They are crooked and dishonest. Do not do business with them.”

“I was going to place an order for a HP Laptop that cost $499. When I went to checkout the shipping and handling was $66. So I never checked out. I placed a call to 2 of the 3 numbers they had for customer service. She couldn't answer my question why shipping and handling cost so. She put me on hold and had to ask somebody. When she got back to me she said because Fed Ex charges that much. I told her I have ordered plenty of times and shipped Fex Ex and that didn't sound right. It's a scam.”

“I ordered a blow up snow man was told I was pre approved. I waited on my order never got it so I emailed them to see where my order was only to be told 2 weeks later it was canceled that they needed a down payment! Why wait 2 weeks after telling me I was approved I could have looked else where for the blow up if I had been told upfront.”

“I ordered a jacket for my grd daughter birthday and it took damn near a month for me to get it ‘ on top of that, they forgot to put her name on jacket which I requested just because Montgomery Ward sent it to my old address that I lived 2 yrs ago . I talked to customer service last week and they were supposed to give me credit for my whole order but supervisor said they couldn’t do that she only gave me credit for shipping & handling Then the supervisor try to blame FedX for delivering to the wrong address ‘ This was frustrating and it don’t make no sense. They need to do their job right🥲🥲”
