“I love shopping at Wilko, always good value, especially on Gardening and Wine Making. Sometimes, somethings they sell, don't quite come up to scratch, but have never had a problem, because they cheerily refund, no quibble!”

“Went into the Birkenhead branch today to do a bit of Christmas shopping. Got most of what I wanted. Lots of stock sitting in cages on shop floor. Must have lost out on loads of sales. Very friendly cashier called Catherine. She was so pleasant.”

“Visited the Blyth, Northumberland store today, Saturday 16th October 2021 and received excellent customer service thanks to Gillian! I called in after seeing a triple pumpkin online but sadly the shelf where they were on display was empty. I approached Gillian to ask if Wilko would be getting any more in and Gillian went out of her way to help. It was so refreshing to encounter such a pleasant, helpful customer service assistant for a change! Gillian was clearly busy, but nothing was a trouble, she went to the other end of the store to check the stock and discovered that more stock of the item in question had just come in. I left Wilko a happy customer with my purchase knowing the little ones trick or treating with their parents will love the light up pumpkin I will have on display in my porch for Halloween. Many thanks Gillian :-) you are an asset to Wilko!!”

“Went to the Llandudno branch to purchase paint. Unfortunately the paint I required was not on the shelf. So Wendy a member of staff went to search the stock room, although she didn't manage to locate the paint I needed instore, nothing seemed too much trouble for her and she did her best to help me, and checked stock at the next nearby store, I picked it up the very next day.”

“I just want to say how helpful Fran at the Fareham branch was in sorting out our problem as we had an issue with printer ink. we went into the shop she stayed on the phone to customer services until our issue was solved even though it took a while ,nothing was to much trouble for her to help us with this issue she is a really nice helpful person and we would like to thank her.”

“I visit fareham branch of Wilco frequently..always find staff members very helpful and cheerful. Any queries I may ask regarding products are usually dealt with positively .karen is one member of staff in particular unfortunately many staff in store are lovely but I’m unable to name them. Recently I’ve seen some improvement in reducing queues by opening tills other than ‘card only’ when busy...which I’d found very frustrating as the only cash till was usually the one selling lottery causing a huge delay to normal flow of customers just wanting to pay and go. Thankyou to all the lovey staff at fareham.de”

“Wilko is very reliable and trustworthy. I left my shopping worth £250.00 in the Wilko , in Crawley. When I got home I did not know where I left my shopping than I relazed I popped into Wilko that day. The next day I went to Wilko to enquire , the Frist person I asked they handed me my bag I was so pleased and grateful. Wilko is amazing , Thank you wilko.”

“Today Wed 2nd June 2021.. We called back into Wilko store in Ely,Cambridgeshire when i decided to ask a member of staff about a problem we had two weeks earlier... By chance the person we asked was the person who fully accepted our complaint. We had previously bought a Big bag of bird peanuts which was reduced to £15 as bag had been opened so it was down from the original £18.. (bargain we thought), but got home to find most of the peanuts were mouldy and then had to throw them away.. as i did with the receipt!!.. Yet going back today and spur of the moment mentioning it "without anger" i may add but didn't want it to happen to another customer as the bag should not have been put bag onto the shelf, but disposed of.. This very kind member of staff named ALLEY knew exactly what we were talking about as she had accepted the return bag of nuts from the first customer who returned it and promptly gave us a new bag without a receipt but with just on our word.. I was amazed at the goodness of the store and of Alley for readily replacing this item and she was extremely helpful, apologetic, helpful and hope you give her the thanks she so deserves Wilko... Thanks Alley...You are an absolute star. Its no wonder Wilko makes you want to go back with service like this... Huge thumbs up.. :)”
