My dad would bring me to Woolworth and have a Hamberger with fries and coleslaw with a cold Chocolate milkshake in the inside restaurant they had on the left side of the entrance. Then we would go shopping .

“I went to Woolworths in Rosebank to exchange a linen shirt as I had purchased the wrong size. I was helped by Bongani Ndlela in the Men’s Department. Bongani went to great efforts to find a store which had the size I needed. After 45 minutes of hanging around, I left the store and gave Bongani my contact details. He promised to do his very best to locate a replacement shirt.
Later the same evening, Bongani sent a message to me advising me that he had managed to find the shirt in the size I wanted. I am so grateful to Bongani for the great lengths he went to, to help me. Very satisfied customer.

“Very good customer service.With respectful and cheerful till operators.Lysah Mabona as it say on the till slip but her name badge says Lonah in Woolworths Boskruin,she is very energetic and fast.I think I saw her for the third time trying to help pensioner customers put back groceries to the trolleys.I love her empathy and respect.However that does not mean other operators are unlike her,they are also helpful.This made me enjoy shopping at Woolworths even more cause I felt cared for.”
“I had the most amazing experience today, 5 February 2024, at Woolworths Three Rivers. I am 70 years of age and have MANY MANY years of experience in shopping. But NEVER ever has anybody done what Nompumelelo Itumateny did today.
While I was busy making my card payment for groceries, Nompulelelo stood up and without hesitation went around her counter and loaded the shopping bags for me into my trolley.
What is also amazing is that she didn't even expect a 'thank you' or reward of any kind. She did it without me noticing at first as I was occupied with the card machine.
I don't have enough words to demonstrate my sincere appreciation.

We met Payal who works in the shoe department and I must commend her on her excellent customer service skills. “Honestly the worst experience in delivery and reimbursement. They really have no idea what they're doing. Dont expect Sity60 level of service delivery. I placed an order, order showed delivered and the items never arrived. Requested a refund and they dont have a process to do that. Honestly pathetic service levels. I called the app helpdesk and the Dash agent transferred me to Online and then Online transferred me to Dash. When I asked why I'm being transferred back and forth the guy hung up. So frustrating”
“After having shopped at three stores at La Lucia Mall on 21/6/2023, myhusband and I went to the Woolworths restaurant for lunch before purchasing groceries from the Woolworths Food section. As usual we had to leave our trolley outside the restaurant.
To our horror we found our trolley had been taken by the time we had finished lunch. Very upset, I enquired from the person in charge of the trolleys who very kindly and politely told us to inform the manager as the shop has cameras, which we did. Mr Nathi (surname unknown), took my details and as soon as we arrived back home, I was informed that the trolley and its goods had been recovered in the grocery section. Someone had taken it to do their shopping and had left our items in the trolley. Thank you Nathi for your promptness and thank you to the gentleman at the trolley section for your concern. What lovely service you gave us!”
