Let me help lower the risk of something going wrong during your Bali holiday. After years of passing on insider tips to family and friends, I'm sharing my local knowledge about money, transport, attractions and day tours.

Transfers from Bali Airport to your hotel or villa are easy if you book ahead. Remove the stress from arriving at Bali Airport and book a private car and driver to personally meet you and get you to your accommodations quickly and easily. Be met on arrival by one of my personally vetted, English-speaking drivers and receive comprehensive, detailed instructions on navigating the airport and making contact with your personal driver straight after booking.

Our day tours get rave reviews because my network of local drivers is second to none. I have personally vetted all the drivers I work with. They text me when they pick you up and again when you have been dropped off at the end of the day. I also email your driver’s name, profile photo, vehicle photo and phone number beforehand to ensure your safety and provide confidence. They are all incredibly knowledgeable and make amazing guides for your day tours around Bali.

“If you are thinking about booking a driver… do it! We can’t say enough good things about our driver, Gede Ardi. He was funny, knew all the shortcuts and taught us so much about Balinese culture. He was able to take us to amazing, less touristy places too! He made a great vacation even more special.”

“Great experience with Bali Holiday Secrets. Gede picked us up from the airport which was such an easy and seamless process and to have such a warm welcome from Gede was a nice start to the trip after the flight. We also had Gede (and his cousin Komang) as our driver for our day trip to Tanah Lot and Ubud. Both Gede and Komang ensured we had an amazing day and ensured we were able to see all the sights we wanted to see and also grateful for the insight to move seeing Tanah Lot to the morning rather than sunset to maximise our time sightseeing rather than in traffic. Having someone who is as passionate about his job as Gede is meant we had a wonderful experience on our day trip. Putu picked us up from the hotel for our trip to the airport and again a very easy and seamless process and again warm and friendly service to end our beautiful holiday in Bali! Will definitely be using the team at Bali Holiday Secrets next time we are in Bali and cannot recommend enough”

“Bali holiday Secrets has been outstanding from start to finish. We are very seasoned travelers but had not been to Bali before. Michael’s website is informative, bang up to date and extremely helpful. Our driver Gede was outstanding, we were staying in lovina and had a fantastic trip with him. Kind, courteous and warm & friendly. Found us the best exchange rate on our way up to lovina with a stop at temples, rice fields and a charming restaurant. Equally our airport pickup was seamless and our driver was superb. Use this company you will not regret it. Tip: we changed some cash at airport and Gede’s exchange place was significantly better Thank you Michael & your team”

“I contacted Michael at Bali Holiday Secrets to get a transfer from Gilimanuk Harbour to Seminyak. He organised a driver (Putu) who was great - he contacted me via Whatsapp beforehand, then met us as we exited the terminal, had a nice car and drove very well (and stopped off at a convenience store for us to grab snacks and have a toilet break). The price was also super-reasonable considering the transfer ended up being like 4 hours. I then contacted Putu numerous times for further drives, and if he couldn't do it, he had other people he organised for us. Would definitely use Bali Holiday Secrets again.”

“We really benefitted from good communication with Michael in organizing our trip. Thank you MIchael. We have been 100% happy with Wayan as a driver. He is on time and courteous. Pleasant to be with and helpful, but not intrusive. He has been very easy to deal with over a week long trip from Ubud to Sideman to Amed to Densapar. He is a safe and knowledgeable driver who takes his responsiblities very seriously. Communication with him is easy - in person and on What's App.”

“Absolutely outstanding service from Bali Holiday secrets. Our driver Whyan was wonderful even waiting an extra 2 hours when my plane was delayed on arrival. He was very friendly and went to great lengths to ensure we were ok and even texted us on WhatsApp the day after arrival to see if we slept ok and had settled well. All transfers were spot on, Michael’s communication was 5 star and I found him very warm snd easy to deal with. Would use Bali Secrects again for sure.”

“I have nothing but praise for the whole experience. We drove with Wayan D - one of the nicest people we have come across on our travels. Funny, talkative, but completely understanding that sometimes we were wrecked and didn’t want to talk, he was awesome. The concept is a great one - hire a driver - tell them where you want to go and then WhatsAp them when you need a pick up to go to the next place. We used Wayan for a half day to go to the beach in Canguu, then on to one market and then down the road to the next, before going home. Along the way we talked about everything from politics in Bali, to surfing, to ice cream vans, to rice fields. Nothing was too much trouble. For us - a family with a 9 year old, it made seeing the bits of Canguu we wanted, a breeze - and also was great value for money- considering the hassle it saved us. Thoroughly recommend.”
