About Bali Holiday Secrets:

Let me help lower the risk of something going wrong during your Bali holiday. After years of passing on insider tips to family and friends, I'm sharing my local knowledge about money, transport, attractions and day tours.

Transfers from Bali Airport to your hotel or villa are easy if you book ahead. Remove the stress from arriving at Bali Airport and book a private car and driver to personally meet you and get you to your accommodations quickly and easily. Be met on arrival by one of my personally vetted, English-speaking drivers and receive comprehensive, detailed instructions on navigating the airport and making contact with your personal driver straight after booking.

Our day tours get rave reviews because my network of local drivers is second to none. I have personally vetted all the drivers I work with. They text me when they pick you up and again when you have been dropped off at the end of the day. I also email your driver’s name, profile photo, vehicle photo and phone number beforehand to ensure your safety and provide confidence. They are all incredibly knowledgeable and make amazing guides for your day tours around Bali.

“Michael has put together such a great informative website for anyone visiting Bali for the first time. We also booked private drivers via his website and received an excellent service from the moment we booked through to great drivers on the day, and also great customer service in between whenever we had any questions. I honestly cannot recommend this company highly enough.”

“We were picked up at the airport by Kadek, I highly recommend having a driver collect you at the airport to ensure you get to the hotel smoothly. Kadek was a friendly face straight away, knowledgeable and kind and had our best interests at heart”

“Bali Holiday Secrets homepage saved me from any kind of stress that you can have as a solo traveler. Valuable tips and guidelines that I am forever thankful for. I booked a transfer from Kuta to Ubud and my driver Kadek was wonderful. Everything felt very safe and professional. Kadek also drove me back to Kuta and to the airport. Excellent driver! I also booked a North Bali day tour and my driver Komang was very nice. Excellent driver! The roads were very rough at one point and I picked a few places he had never been to, but he drove like it was nothing. Felt very safe with him. “Gede and Arya were amazing, both great to talk to, incredibly nice and genuinely lovely people, Gede bought us from the airport to our villa and was lovely! Arya took us on the temple tour, helped us get tickets, chatted and was a stand up great guy! Looking at coming back to Bali next year and will definitely be contacting them both again!”

“My driver's name was Made and I used his services on Tuesday, July 11th and Wednesday, July 12th. Made was very punctual and professional. He is very friendly, knowledgable and fun to be around. I immediately felt like I could be myself around him which is important to me. Made took amazing pictures of me and even made a cool video for me. He is an amazing person, driver, and tour guide and you are lucky to have him on the Bali Holiday Secrets team. Thank you!”

“Our driver Arya was wonderful and really helped create an incredible day for us. We went to three waterfalls as one was closed, but the day was paced perfectly. We started at Tegenungen Waterfall, then Tibumana Waterfall. There’s an excellent cafe at the entrance /exit with a wonderful view that we went to for matcha, fresh juice and a great lunch after the seeing Tibumana and heading to our third stop, Kanto Lampo. All are accessible but bring sneakers and water shoes - no flip flops! We went on a Monday which helped avoid crowds. Overall an incredible value for a memorable day.”

“We were very happy we used Bali Holiday Secrets to arrange our transfers and touring days in Bali. Our guide, Gede Ardi was fantastic. Always on time, funny, great driver, upbeat attitude, he was a pleasure to be with. Gede even loaned me a suitcase and let me leave some clothes with him while we did a side trip to the Gili Islands! It made moving around in the Gilis much easier. Booking with Bali Holiday Secrets was easy. The website works well, and the options and descriptions of things are as clear as it gets. I’ll book with them again (and hope that Gede is my driver).”

“We decided to try and plan a day trip ourselves instead of following a pre-planned one so booked a driver for a day. It went so well, with our driver (Dana) helping to refine the itinerary as we went along, that we decided to book drivers for another 2 days. All of our drivers (Wayan and Samsul included) were incredibly helpful and knowledgable. Definitely would recommend this service to anyone visiting Bali.”
