“The ladder was despatched extremely quickly and arrived very early the next day, so all credit to Browns Ladders for that. Unfortunately, the ladder arrived very battered and much the worse for wear. There is a large dent in one of the lengths and many scratches large and small, minor dings and the strut was bent out of shape. It's useable and in no worse condition than you'd expect after a year or two of hard use. However, it's a very expensive ladder which I bought brand new, not a used one! I don't know what state it LEFT Browns Ladders, but it took a hell of a battering in transit. I wouldn't use them again for this reason.”

“I can’t praise the man on the counter enough, I was in despair as to how to resolve my loft ladder problem. He could not have been more helpful and although they didn’t keep the part I needed he went out of his way to help me. Consequently I have now got a fully working ladder. Such a lovely man, a credit to Browns.”

“Product delivered promptly. Easy to order on website. Lower price than competitor websites. However product has a different sticker to the picture on the website. It would have been nice to have explained why the appearance is slightly different to the one shown on the website. Also there were no printed instructions for how to fit the product, so I had to Google how to do this. Given that the product I bought was to improve ladder safety, a key part of this would be including adequate instructions to ensure safe use.”

“Great service and a good price which included delivery. Delivery took only three days and the ladder is exactly as described. Others have commented on the exposed wood at the top of the ladder. I have covered it with plastic and sealed it so should not be a problem. That is a manufacturing issue and not a reflection of Brown's service.”
