“Total rip off!!!!
They charge you £27 a month yet send you the equivalent of £15 worth of goods. Even when I confirmed with them that I had 8 week olds pups they still sent wholly inappropriate treats for adult dogs. This is the second box I’ve received from them with inappropriate contents.
As for the £5 free trial - breaking the misrepresentation Act and sale of good act here as they’ll charge you an additional £18.99 if you want to cancel and the boxes are certainly not fit for purpose
As for emails - be prepared to be bombarded by so many emails that they start affecting your inbox- they are a total nuisance. Even if the contents were suitable the amount of emails really really annoy you
They’ve been told 4 times today already to cancel and delete my account - they locked my account on receipt on my first complaint - they’re still not complying. They just send you the same email over and over totally ignoring your instructions to cancel and delete the account - that probably breaks GDPR regulations too
Don’t buy from these people. They take your money and don’t care - and by sending adult treats for 8 week pups they certainly don’t care about your animals either

It really wasn't worth the money, I searched for the products that I received and I could get them for half the price of the box.
I went to cancel only to find that I have to pay for 6 months. I am now stuck paying for a box that is no good to me. The treats (most of them) have ingredients that my dogs can't have, the toys are destroyed really quickly.
Don't use this company!!!”

UPDATED AGAIN- I have now received an email from them practically bribing me to edit my review and for me to sympathise as it's a small company, if I were to do this they would send me a free box or give me a refund for the last box I'd received in august, it makes me think of how many bad reviews were actually given and taken down for this bribery. Apologies but I also own a small business and to act like this is just unprofessional in my opinion.
UPDATED- They flagged my review as they said it wasn't a genuine experience and tried to remove it. Luckily I'd saved all the emails, really a terrible company.
I wrote a review a year ago on the experience of signing up to them, it was a hassle as the advertisement was misleading and unfortunately I didn't read the t's and c's. I asked if I could cancel and they said no so I was stuck paying £18.99 a month for 12 months, I would have been okay with this if the first box was great but it was just awful and poor quality.
The boxes however did get better, the "free" box at the beginning was obviously just a cheap way to get out of giving you a box that had some worth to it.
Some of the boxes throughout the year were still disappointing and the treats got worse and worse even though I told them my dogs could only have natural treats, they will still send you things with grain in and salt and vegetable glycerine (it may say natural on the packaging but make sure you check the ingredients list). Some of the toys were great though easily destroyed, some were very cheap and were very underwhelming rope toys or rubber balls.
Anyhow now my subscription has ended I was upset but not shocked that they had charged me yet again, I was quick to email them when I realised they'd taken payment and said they couldn't find me on the system with my name and email address (which is funny because I still got emails from them). When I replied with these are my only details I want it refunded and I don't want any more boxes, I didn't get a reply until I emailed again asking for a reply, after which I'd received an email from hermes to say my parcel was on its way to me ugh. Their reply stated that I was on the system but my subscription had been cancelled and this was the last box they would send me "thanks for your support", this is absolutely ridiculous, I've emailed once again saying I'm owed a refund and to cancel the delivery, awaiting a reply.
Funny how I wasn't on their system yet were happily taking money from me.. then all of a sudden I magically appeared.”
“Oh my goodness I wish that I had read the reviews. We received our first Buster Box today and what a load of old tat, I could have bought better and cheaper at B and M or the Range. Customer services want to charge me £19.99 for breaking contract but their website says no commitment, they say that this is old info but yet still readily available. Avoid!!”

“Ordered what I thought was a one off box for £5.00 via a Facebook ad. 2 days after the box arrived £19.99 was taken from my bank account. I emailed to say I didn't want to subscribe, but was told I had a 6 month subscription! Lots of emails back and forth, and I've ended up paying almost £25.00 for a box of tat. I honestly couldve bought better from the pound shop. They ask what size dog you have, i ticked the "big and burly" option, yet they sent tiny wee training treats, and 2 toys which were destroyed within seconds. I really wish id read reviews before dealing with this company. £25.00 mightnt seem a fortune in the grand scheme of things, but its left me with nothing till pay day.”
“5 shades of green! How many greens do you need in life?
I received the 4th BusterBox today and I have to say that the company failed to manage my expectation and the consumers’ experience level keeps dropping every month. I am normally easy to pleased but I feel disappointed with the service quality BB claimed. I received a green toy in my 2nd box, 2 green toys in my 3rd box and 2 more green toys in my 4th box. They don’t pay attention to what you get. Just throw whatever they have in the box. Imagine that you go to shop for your own dog, would you buy the same colour toy every time? Box 1 and 4 toys are almost identical. Not to mention that tedious £6.99 extra pupgrade does not worth paying for at all.
I received a toy which they claimed to cost £6.99. I found an exact same one (rosewood brand) on Amazon at £3.99! (free delivery)
They keep sending emails inviting you to invest with them. Judging from their business strategy and attitude towards customers, this business model is not sustainable. People will come to realise they have been fooled.

“I ordered a box after seeing on Facebook that they were offering a free box for people in the UK and that we paid postage and packing which was £5. When received the box wasn't satisfied, as the monthly cost would be £19.99, I called to ask them to cancel it and they advised that I'd taken a six or twelve month agreement with them and would have to pay £18.99. They advised to return it for a refund, but as its International postage it costs over £6, so asked them for a returns label as their marketing was very misleading. They declined this. I am going to take it up with Trading Standards.”
“Terrible attitude from one of the owners at busterbox, ordered 2 "trial" boxes for my dogs, arrived full of absolute rubbish.
I was not aware of any sign up and they tried to take money from me £21 just 2 days later, lied and accused me of fraud when I complained.
Awful arrogant company, money grabbers if that turn on you if you dont agree with them.
Please dont waste your time or money with them!”
