First two boxes were great, then the treats dipped in quality, we have 6 dogs and there's usually only one pack of treats that they'll actually eat. Toys are cute but fall apart pretty quickly and every single one is a squeaky toy. Not worth the price when I can go to the shop, get 90% meat treats and toys that might last a few days longer for less than €25. Subscription automatically renewed and they won't refund or cancel my subscription. If they at least sent a reminder text out the final month to tell you to cancel now or or you'll be locked in, you could understand.

Considering this should have been ‘worth’ £22 normally, how can you justify 3 cheap bags of treats and 2 cheap toys that will fall apart in minutes. This is £5 - £6 worth of goods max. Also wasn’t made clear enough that you’re locked into a 12 month sub and now have to return the ‘FREE’ bed if I want to cancel and prevent another 11 payments of £22 a month!

Awful quality, Box worth 10-15 tops. Toys ripped depart in seconds and cheap tiny treats that I consider to be a choking hazard. I have told them to keep taking my money from my account but I do not want to receive any more boxes they are THAT bad. I do my own now, better value, safer products.

Toys in the basic theme box broke straight away- he was literally a 3 month old puppy... The toys were absolutley not worth what I paid let alone the "RRP". I was stuck in the 6 month package. To be fair to them they did at least upgrade my package to the tough, non themed one for free. The toys in that were a bit better, but still nowhere near the value suggested. I cancelled the auto renewal after the first month. It clearly says cancelled. Yet they have just take £137 out my account!!!! No response and their phone goes straight to a VM. I've had to report it as fraud through my bank account. A headache I do not need!!!

Be warned scam of a company will threaten and blackmail you to remain with them. Will continue to take payments out even when you cancel with them never known such an unprofessional underhanded company in my life very rude and patronising cheap inferior toys you will not get as they advertise Absolute rip-off! Dishonest company that should be shut down

Dont fall for it if you have a large dog this is what bed they send you nothing luxury about it and not worth the 60 they claim it is.. 28.00 max ( i used to sell them on my site) have a large female tibetan mastiff got sent this bed 2 bags of treats and 4 toys that are suitable for a puppy not a adult large dog. Then ignore calls and emails avoid im stuck paying 22.99 for 6 months for something that isn't worth it!

I wanted to trial this box so I bought one for a £5 special offer. I then cancelled (what I thought was cancelling) my subscription as my circumstances changed. I became sick and have had to claim statutory sick pay, and couldn’t afford it. However, I then realised I had been charged £31 for another box. I wrote to Buster Box explaining my circumstances and they said it is not possible to cancel a subscription, you have to be signed up for 6 or 12 months. Now, I see I have been charged for another box. I have begged for a refund as £62 is a huge proportion of my income at the moment. However, all they have offered is a cheaper box. I have had to change my bank card to an old card that has no money in, in an attempt to stop getting charged. However, I am desperate for the refund. I have asked to make a formal complaint however nothing has come from it. Don’t sign up for the subscription unless you can afford 6 months worth of boxes.

Absolute SCAM! Lock you in with a taster box and then you are unable to cancel for 12 months. The toys could be from Poundland and break just as easy.

Toys are not sturdy or durable, lasted 5 minutes after my dog got hold of it, I tried to cancel after first order but was told that If I carried on then it would be a discounted price and more suitable toys, they are not, they are dangerous and a dog could choke on it or could swallow part of the toy and then need an expensive operation or worse. Three toys and 2 bags of treats and a chicken flavoured bone with a label on it from Wilko !!!! is definitely not worth the money.

Subscribed for 6 months, they automatically renewed and I now have to pay another 6months before I can cancel. I contacted them and they won’t budge. Yes I signed up for 6 months, and yes I agree auto renew is commonplace, but usually on a monthly rolling basis. Looking at the reviews it seems it’s not just me this has happened to

we used busterbox for our dog, mainly for the treats that she enjoyed as she didn't play with toys. my mother, the card payer, tried to cancel the boxes from coming after our dog passed away suddenly (3rd december 2023). busterbox refused & told her she coudln't cancel until she'd paid for all of the following boxes, even though - as she explained - OUR DOG WAS DEAD. absolutely vile.

Nearly £30 a month for a squeaky ball destroyed in a second and a double tennis ball on rope that is on sale for £3 in our local shop. A yoghurt drink and treats my dog walked away from. £30. I have been with you for ages. You kidding me?! 😳

Busterbox advert appeared on Facebook advertising a free bed and 50% off first box meaning I paid £12.50. Received box today, the bed is simply a cushion/mat, we received 2 soft toys (similar can be picked up in b&m for a couple of quid and 2 packets of busterbox unbranded treats and 1 packet of denzel treats). The photos on Facebook looked like you got a lot of items in the medium box I selected on a 6 mth subscription but upon receipt this obviously was not the case. I promptly went onto my account to cancel subscription immediately which it processed and then states subscription will be cancelled upon completion of 6 billing cycles. It's absolutely ridiculous and surely goes against UK Trading Standards along with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, the Consumer Protection Act 1987, the Price Marking Order 2004 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I will be contacting my bank to ask them not to release further funds and advised busterbox I don't wish to receive further boxes. I am still within the first 14 days of any contract with Busterbox so don't think they have a legal leg to stand on. Please be very wary taking out a subscription with them. The boxes are really not worth the money and their cancellation policy is extremely unclear. States you can cancel at any time but they still want to collect £24.99 per month from you.

Awful company, missing toys and treats , not catered to every dog breed, boxes not sealed, asked to pay £40 to cancel subscription and never lived up to many promises over a year to fix all the issues. Had to get bank involved to stop subscription. Please think twice about using this company, especially if you have small dogs and want to receive what you pay for. So pleased I'm not wasting my time and money on this company anymore.

Complete rip off. Boxes comes with 0 packaging so anyone can open them/fall apart when posted. You get two toys that you could probably get in a shop for a quid, they are that poor quality. And three packets of treats that, again, could be valued at a pound. The contents couldn't even be worth £10 at a push. You get holiday boxes late - I got a valentine's box in march so obviously theyve also got a bunch of reduced stock. They also harass you if you post an honest review. Constant emails and phone calls begging the reviews to be removed. Please don't give these scammers your money.
