I wanted to trial this box so I bought one for a £5 special offer. I then cancelled (what I thought was cancelling) my subscription as my circumstances changed. I became sick and have had to claim statutory sick pay, and couldn’t afford it. However, I then realised I had been charged £31 for another box. I wrote to Buster Box explaining my circumstances and they said it is not possible to cancel a subscription, you have to be signed up for 6 or 12 months. Now, I see I have been charged for another box. I have begged for a refund as £62 is a huge proportion of my income at the moment. However, all they have offered is a cheaper box. I have had to change my bank card to an old card that has no money in, in an attempt to stop getting charged. However, I am desperate for the refund.
I have asked to make a formal complaint however nothing has come from it.
Don’t sign up for the subscription unless you can afford 6 months worth of boxes.
