“Pack of 3 tests arrived on time, results arrived very late due to it having been the weekend. Day 5 test results arrived faster, on day 6 in the evening. Generally the whole testing system is a joke and the prices horrendous. That prices vary and that companies (incl. Confirm testing) offer discounts and happy hours and special deals is an affront to all the binational families who have been suffering heartache during this pandemic. We are NOT tourist, we have not seen my family in almost a year, they have missed the birth of my son and the first 7 months of his life, we have missed celebrations, funerals, weddings,… The insanity of the prices of these tests and the way companies have been making money is an utter insult to us all. We cannot go to see them because we cannot afford these tests for us as a whole family with unpredictable price changes making it not even worth considering it. And to top it off i get two cheeky emails from Confirm Testing about leaving a review and when i didn’t i got an email asking me again to leave a review and a voucher for my next tests. It is disgusting how you all make money from people’s heartaches. You can lable tests ‘day 2 and 8’ or ‘test to release’ but they are all the same test. Yet you price it differently. You should be ashamed of yourselves! I wish we didn’t have to use this and we certainly hope we won’t ever have to again. Having said that I have heard of these tests from other companies not being delivered on time or results never being received so at least Confirm Testing has not let us down on that front.”

Dear Ali, Sorry to hear the result email was in your spam folder. We do state in the order confirmation email to always check the spam folder. This is because the results are sent through an automated system and this can sometimes trigger the spam filter on some email providers like Yahoo or Hotmail (appears to be fine on Gmail). We have tried to address this in every way we can, but unfortunately cannot control how email providers will flag our emails. We are always happy to resend results if customers have not received them. Thank you for choosing Confirm Testing.

“Your day 5 test to release needs to be 5 days not 6 which was the case when I received email, also the post office in my area do not have priority written on then!! Oxford.”

Dear Graham, The Day 5 test is meant to be taken from Day 5. It does not mean results are on Day 5 since this is a postal test with a next day return label. We offer customers the option to drop off their tests at our clinic should they not wish to use the post and want their tests to arrive at the lab the same day. We're unfortunately unable to control whether you have a priority box in your area. All instructions and details about the timeline of the tests are available to the customer on the product page prior to purchasing. “For myself the process was good but for my partner not so good, we both took our eight day test at the same time and posted together. My result arrived after a couple of days but my partners result as still not turned up.”

“Purchased day 2 & day 8 covid testing kits for my wife and myself as ordered by Government legislation ! Only be emailed by you that they had tried to be delivered to our address two days before our return to the UK and again the next day ! Next delivery was the Monday day 2 of our return. We live in a rural hamlet no post boxes ! Test kits arrived at 16-00 last priority post 17-30. had to drive to priority post box avoiding any possible contact.”

“Good customer services but slow return on results. My day 5 test was analysed on day 6 at 2pm and I got the result on day 7 at 7.30am. And this was the extra charge test to release”

“Test results take too long to come back. My test arrived at yourselves at 9.30 am. It was the n3xt day before I received my results and this can be longer if over a weekend.”

“To keep the price down postage isn’t as quick as you’d ideally want it, I paid £60 and took the test on the morning of the 5th day and didn’t get my result back until the morning of the 7th, you can pay extra for faster postage but you’d need someone to get stamps for you if you want to release on day 6.”

“My husband phoned to check on the progress of his 5 day release test. It was apparently being tested as they spoke and the result email appeared a few hours later. .But no sign of mine, tested and posted at the same time.”

“The test arrived via DPD very quickly (ordered at 3pm, received it the next morning). It took them 1 full day for the results (test was with them at 11am, I received the results the next day at 10am). Not too bad, but being a day 5 test to release I would have expected the results the same day. I guess it's a normal turnaround time, but other providers gave me same day results.”

“The price is what it is, not for me to judge this other than to state the blindingly obvious, there are some huge profits being made on these tests. What does annoy me, £600+ later, is that I am nearly at day 7, and still don’t have my so called day 5 early release result. We got up at 6.30 to make sure our tests were in the first post on day 5, waste of time, if Confirm literally spent a couple of quid more on guaranteed same day delivery this would all be so much better. As it is I have wasted my money really - might as well have waited another 2days and been free to go anyway?”
