Unfortunately, I read super positive comments on the TrustPilot before we have decided to go ahead with DC Law. I will never ever recommend them to anyone. We’ve eventually completed on our sale and purchase, but it was very stressful process. There was hardly any communication between us and DCLaw. They were constantly ignoring our calls and emails. Disaster. Two months after the completion we are still awaiting paperwork from them. Please do not work with them!

Do not use. Absolutely appalling service. Been stuck in limbo for 10 months now. Ive moved out of my property and into a rental and am now paying a mortgage and rent. The completion date keeps moving time after time. They lose documents and raise further enquiries the day before completion. My mental health and my finances are taking a real battering.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE for your own mental health DO NOT use this company. It was a complete shambles from start to finish which took over 9 months. I had 5 different coveyancers working on my file with little or no communication from them. Also they seem to forget that you are the client as when you ask for documents they seem very reluctant to help you as it has to be reviewed first, what absolute rubbish

They were the Conveyancer dealing with our purchase for the seller and they failed to deliver some of the documents we needed. Between them and our solicitor they left us in a poor position . When I phoned to ask for help they told me thy are not able to help because im not there client . Looking at these reviews they never will be . If you are buying or selling your biggest asset then dont cut corners . Use a proper solicitor.

DC Law are acting for the seller of a house we are purchasing. It is our first home with no chain - 6 months in and still waiting for information from DC Law. Chased for lease information for six weeks and when it finally got sent theiugh it was months old!! They don't answer emails or phones. We're about to lose our mortgage and have had to leave our rented house. Devastated that we will probable lose our dream house and the seller will have to start from scratch. Feeling so frustrated and helpless.

There should be the option of giving a 0 rating for these clowns. I was offered a cash purchase, with no chain, at the end of June 2022. With no complications this should have been a simple & straightforward process...really??. After 7 months and very poor communication with DC Law, my frustrated buyers have now aborted the purchase, leaving me with estate agent fees & other expenses, that I cannot afford. Once again, DC Law, thank you for reaching a level of incompetence, that I didn't even think was possible. If you want to keep your sanity, do not go anywhere near these people.

Absolutely appalling. Lied to us now just do not respond to our solicitor at all. We have no options as we are moving counties and we have been forced to move in with family for what we hoped was short term as I started a new job here that I would have lost if I didn’t accept. Gone on so long our mortgage offer expired. DO NOT USE. Don’t care about the impact they have on peoples lives at all. I feel for our seller the most. Disgusting behaviour.

Do not, under any circumstances be fooled into engaging with this company. It is people like this that give the conveyancing industry a bad name. Unfortunately they are acting for my son's vendor so we had no choice. First time buyer and probate sale, so no chain at all - still can't get it right. Absolutely terrible company.

Take note of these reviews and avoid this company. They are TERRIBLE. Their excuse for poor service is “”pressure of work”, which is obviously due to their greed in accepting more work than they are able to professionally deal with. The result is a complete lack of communication, taking weeks to pass on information and being uncontactable. The “eWay” website is a joke. What a nightmare!

My sale completion date was the 14th November 2022. It is now January 2023 and there has been no actions on the E-way 'wheel of despair', nor any contact whatsoever from DC Law, for over 2 months. The whole conveyancing process has ground to a halt. I am now looking into lodging a formal complaint, this delay is costing me money. The service that is advertised bears no resemblance to the service that I have received.

Would never use DCLAW again they never answer phone or email’s . We finally moved into our home, but the nightmare is still not over. We are now receiving letters from HMRC they still haven’t paid our stamp duty. Trying to get thru to these people is a nightmare avoid at all cost.

Very bad experience. Please do not read the reviews on trustpilot as the negative reviews have been taken down even after submitting all the evidences. DC law is a paid customer of trustpilot so they look after the DC laws interests not the final customers. They have been recommended by an estate agent, but lesson learnt to use the one I choose. DC law is an absolutely a disaster. They most likely use unexperienced staff or don't treat them well. Not worth the money.

Avoid avoid avoid. This company are useless. Our house sale was so stressful it made me ill. They never answer the phone, nor emails nor messages. They delayed our completion so many times. Didn't act on our contract for 9 weeks after it was sent to them. We ended up with our furniture in a van before we even exchanged as we were left with no more options. Exchanged around 12 o'clock and completed after 5 the same day. It was hell. On trust pilot these clowns have got 5 star reviews. All I can imagine is that they wrote theses themselves. Please, if you value your sanity, do not use them

It's taken 7 painful months and should have exchanged by now but after advising us all paper work was complete now they tell us things are missing!! A week before exchange They have consistently asked and emailed the same questions that we previously answered. Would not recommend them to anyone

We had a very poor experience with DC Law, who were recommended by our estate agent (we quickly realised we’d been naive trusting that recommendation). We had multiple solicitors in five months, meaning we had to resubmit information multiple times. And for the first few months, all of our calls and emails went unanswered so we had no idea what was going on, which was incredibly stressful. Things improved slightly when we put in a formal complaint, and our sale did eventually go through which is why I’ve put two stars rather than one, but I absolutely would not recommend DC Law. Go with a small local firm instead, we did for our purchase and it was the complete opposite experience!

My son and partner could have easily lost the sale of their house yesterday,8months this company has been dealing with the sale! Appalling service, luckily the buyer has had his mortgage offer extended, the exchange should have happened 28th November only to be told by DC law that more information was needed,This information should have been gathered at the very start of this process which they have apologised for,not good enough!! It's peoples lifes they are playing with and they don't care the stress and upset they cause, this company is not fit for purpose !!!
