No communication. They don't reply to emails sent by clients, estate agents, other solicitors. They don't anser the phone. They would be really good if you want to be extremely stressed, lose a lot of sleep and if you don't care about selling or purchasing a house.

Currently using DC Law after recommendation from Coop Legal Services for probate. They are hopeless at best. Currently have a 3 week lead time on enquires and didn't think it appropriate to advise me as their client, but instead its ok I incur costs in the meantime. Shambles

Please do not use this company you will regret it. They do not answer phones or emails . They have a system that means YOU end up doing all the work as you cannot communicate with anyone if there is a query. You are wasting your time and they don't care and it will take several months longer than most companies. In our case when we completed they didn't pay the stamp duty when they should have very worrying we think. Save yourself from this distress

It seems like everyone else I am having a bad experience.they do not communicate at any level and a basic form uploaded to eway is asking for a miracle for them to do ..my house sale is going to fall through if things don't rapidly change and unfortunately I have also used them to buy a house so I have 2 properties they are taking money for and I wish my estate agent had never told me about them ...emails,phone calls are wasted and I am at the point where I feel like driving the 2 hours to Southport to get answers

Better to run towards a Hungry Lion than using DC Law for anything. They are highly unprofessional and unresponsive. If I could, I would make that 1 star to - 100. We went to then after being recommended by Connells for the our house sale (Connells STOP recommending them) and for the 1.5 months we were not even assigned a case reference despite work being done by a car worker who then left. It is the we found out and there was no apology from them. Finally, a case was opened and the new case worker Sean, who is amateur at best, with us actually having to tell him what to do. There have been so many delays that could have been avoided had Sean done his job properly the first time, like sending only one form when two were required, us having to make numerous calls and send numerous emails copying several people before we would get some response, and blaming us for sending emails and calls. We have progressed far ahead now to get rid of them but even then I get the urge to cancel them and go with another solicitor. Think over million times before going with DC Law and go with them if you like delays and do not consider your sale or purchase worthwhile.

Absolutely useless, taking weeks to reply to any queries and never answering phones. The whole sale delayed months thanks to them

by far the worst solicitor i have had the displeasure of using, they dont come back to you when you call, the staff are incredibly over worked with far too many cases at 1 time and it shows in their service, i actively advise people not to use them!!!

AVOID this company like the plague. Absolutely the worst conveyancing firm I've ever had the misfortune to come across. 2 months nearly of thrm asking for an indemnity that they've already had. They won't answer the phones, they won't reply via email. No one cares about you complaining. A joke

Lack of response. Our buyers file has been sat unreviewed for weeks and no response to Estate agents calls or their clients chasing up. The constant delays and lack of response is very worrying. If we do not see a quick turn around this could cause the chain to collapse. All ready to exchange contracts and just sat waiting! I would never recommend, and can not understand why this is a preferred supplier for the Estate agents we have used.

DC Law has failed on their service and will affect mental health! Due to no fault of our own our whole moving process is about to collapse! The 7 months leading to this point has been totally unacceptable. We have sent at least 10 emails and left several messages to DC Law that have totally been ignored leading to further unnecessary delays. Your office phone and main number barely gets answered and the lack of proactivity on our case is not what we agreed when instructing DC Law. The fact that parties involved had no chain is unsatisfactory that it’s taken this long with no result. We spent at least 3 months of our own time calling for an answer on questions or updates and frankly, that isn’t our job. Your conveyancing on this matter completely failed due to the case only being active when we did finally get through to ask for progression, only to lead to further emails and calls being ignored without any further updates leaving us completely in the dark and unnecessarily stressed. The detrimental effect on our health is very serious. Also, the lack of sleep causing work to be affected and being depressed would have been avoidable if the case were acted on correctly, you will kill someone soon with your actions and for everything, we hold you, DC Law fully responsible.

DC Law do not answer the phone, or respond to emails. We are at the point where buyers are going to pull out. Our Estate Agent has pulled all referrals to DC Law. I have been told by our solicitor that DC Law have asked their own employees to write good reviews (on trust pilot) in order to counteract the hundreds of bad reviews coming in. Our solicitor alone has 15 other clients that are in the same position as us, where DC Law will not respond. Avoid at all costs. You will greatly regret going anywhere near them. Don't do it.

DO NOT USE!! Firstly; DC Law seems to have an employee responding to bad reviews immediately, but is failing to respond to their own clients. If your estate agent refers you to DC Law. REFUSE IMMEDIATELY. I warn you now. DC Law offers Estate Agents financial 'kickbacks' if they refer people. DO NOT USE. They do not respond to emails or phone calls, we are 6 MONTHS down the line and our buyers are threatening to pull out. DC LAW has taken on too many clients, out of GREED and now they are responsible for many people losing sales. I suggest a class action lawsuit. NOTE for DC Law. Do not reply to this message, use your time to help paying clients

If I could give 0 stars I would. We used DC Law on our original purchase 3.5 on our estate agents recommendation and they were absolutely useless. We’ve now sold our property and our buyer has used DC Law (on different estate agents recommendation). Our sale has been delayed by over 7 weeks already due to DC Law being useless, not answering emails, not answering our buyers calls. They couldn’t even send basic client information requested by my solicitors after 3 weeks of contacting. They requested a change to our lease (shared ownership property) that they “cannot complete without”. But we used DC Law during our original purchase and this “issue with our lease” was the same during our original purchase but they didn’t pick up on it. Therefore incriminating themselves as negligent. (How could we complete with it 3.5 years ago but our buyer can’t?). The change to lease required a deed of variation from the shared ownership companies solicitor, which if they had requested when they first picked up on the issue (7th august) could have been completed 4 weeks late, but they decided not to request it until a week before completion (beginning of OCTOBER) causing another 3 weeks delay. The deed of variation is now complete after a lot of chasing from myself and my solicitor so we were hoping to agree a completion date today for next week. But today they have decided to send more unrelated enquiries. They take weeks to approve basic enquiries and send more pointless ones weeks later, why not send them all at once? We’re months into the process and they still aren’t capable of basic tasks or even answering the phone or email. Avoid at ALL COSTS!!!!!! Pay the extra money and go with a local solicitor, no matter what your estate agent tries to recommend!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID THEY DON’T EVEN POSESS BASIC COMMON SENSE

REGRETTABLY I CANNOT RECOMMEND DC LAW, AND I WOULD ADVISE EVERYBODY TO AVOID THIS COMPANY FOR PROPERTY CONVEYANCING. ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT ON THE PHONE AND VERY RARELY REPLY TO EMAILS. AT THE MOMENT BATTLING WITH THEM TO GET A REFUND OF 2,000 POUNDS RADON BOND DUE TO ME IN SEPTEMBER, BUT I EXPECT NOT TO RECIEVE THIS, WHICH I THINK IS PROBABLY ILLEGAL. THEY WERE RECOMMENDED BY PURPLE BRICKS, WHO I HAVE COMPLAINED TO, BUT WITH OF COURSE NO RESPONSE.
