There should be the option of giving a 0 rating for these clowns. I was offered a cash purchase, with no chain, at the end of June 2022. With no complications this should have been a simple & straightforward process...really??. After 7 months and very poor communication with DC Law, my frustrated buyers have now aborted the purchase, leaving me with estate agent fees & other expenses, that I cannot afford. Once again, DC Law, thank you for reaching a level of incompetence, that I didn't even think was possible. If you want to keep your sanity, do not go anywhere near these people.

DC Law are acting for the seller of a house we are purchasing. It is our first home with no chain - 6 months in and still waiting for information from DC Law. Chased for lease information for six weeks and when it finally got sent theiugh it was months old!! They don't answer emails or phones. We're about to lose our mortgage and have had to leave our rented house. Devastated that we will probable lose our dream house and the seller will have to start from scratch. Feeling so frustrated and helpless.

This is on behalf of my wife. Trying to buy a flat for her ageing mother so she can be closer to us both. Mother took the sale price out of her savings, thus losing interest, in August 2020 expecting quick sale. No chain etc. Nearly 12 months on and the seller's conveyancing, DC Law, is STILL faffing around. Allegedly the DC Law solicitor in charge of this went into hospital and no one at DC Law apparently took over this sale nor I presume any other sale of property that the solicitor was handling!!!! My MiL has lost nearly £4k revenue from her savings due to this. My wife is stressed to hell, my MiL is stressed and worried about dying before she gets into the flat and this is primarily due to the DC Law solicitors. Nearly 12 months to purchase a no chain, cash buyer etc is ridiculous.

PATHETIC SERVICE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN I completely agree with the other complaints here…. I have sold 2 houses through their services the first earlier this year eventually completed in June after I did all the chasing and donkey work after discovering the lies they told about not receiving documents they had actually received from estate agents Purple Bricks, that delayed 7 weeks! Purple Bricks sold another house for me a couple of months later they said all the stuff before would not happen again…. So so so wrong it’s a million times worse they have told numerous lies, not followed up other solicitors requests for information, never returned one of 42 emails & calls, completion was scheduled for 3 days ago the buyer was waiting for keys only for me to discover they hadn’t even requested the redemption amount from my bank & it’s a 5 day turnaround. The EWay system they operate is totally useless, it’s still asking for information on the case that completed in June. What a mistake going with them even after promises it wouldn’t happen again. Today I spent 3 hours on the phone ringing DCLaw (19 calls before an answer from a human ) then speaking to 3 different people who gave 3 different excuses why completion never happened Lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, lies. I am prepared to name all those concerned & give details of times & dates I tried to speak or contact them over the months & then the excuses given to worm out the mire they created!

Total rubbish my seller is using this firm we are now into six months and completion it seems will never take place. I feel sorry for anyone that is conned into using this firm. We like many others have stated have had to rent whilst waiting for these incompetent fools to do there job. They need investigating and should be 'struck off'.

Awful service, avoid at all costs, I have left at least 6 messages for a call back and still nothing, we were told can't stay on hold while a reposentive becomes free as we stopping new business calls coming through, given they are too busy to answer current clientele the last thing they need are more customers to let down, simply just want an update that's all. It shouldn't be this difficult.

Don’t use these conveyancers- absolutely useless!! They don’t answer calls or respond to emails. My son is currently buying a house where the vendor has used D C Law and even she can’t get any response from them so chain may collapse due to their total lack of service

Absolute joke of a firm, avoid like the plague. Zero communication with regards to updates despite numerous requests and phone calls. I’ve lodged a formal complaint because my case has progressed at an unreasonably slow pace and this hasn’t even been responded to. If you’d like to be completely ignored, have your buyer’s solicitor ignored, if you’d like a conveyancer who doesn’t look at your case for weeks on end and tells lies saying they’ve completed work when they haven’t or tell you that they will update you and then don’t bother then these are guys for you 👍🏻 They’ll respond to this review and ask me to provide details of my case so they can look into it but that is also lies because I’ve already done this and had no response. The only option I have now is to escalate our case to the director but to be honest if he’s happy for his firm to operate in the way I’ve described then I don’t really hold out much hope of satisfactory and timely response. Our last hope is to instruct a new Solicitor to start the process from scratch and beg our buyer to wait for this to be completed otherwise we’ll lose our sale and the purchase of our new home and suffer a financial loss as a result.

Do not use. Absolutely appalling service. Been stuck in limbo for 10 months now. Ive moved out of my property and into a rental and am now paying a mortgage and rent. The completion date keeps moving time after time. They lose documents and raise further enquiries the day before completion. My mental health and my finances are taking a real battering.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE for your own mental health DO NOT use this company. It was a complete shambles from start to finish which took over 9 months. I had 5 different coveyancers working on my file with little or no communication from them. Also they seem to forget that you are the client as when you ask for documents they seem very reluctant to help you as it has to be reviewed first, what absolute rubbish

They were the Conveyancer dealing with our purchase for the seller and they failed to deliver some of the documents we needed. Between them and our solicitor they left us in a poor position . When I phoned to ask for help they told me thy are not able to help because im not there client . Looking at these reviews they never will be . If you are buying or selling your biggest asset then dont cut corners . Use a proper solicitor.

Absolutely appalling. Lied to us now just do not respond to our solicitor at all. We have no options as we are moving counties and we have been forced to move in with family for what we hoped was short term as I started a new job here that I would have lost if I didn’t accept. Gone on so long our mortgage offer expired. DO NOT USE. Don’t care about the impact they have on peoples lives at all. I feel for our seller the most. Disgusting behaviour.

Do not, under any circumstances be fooled into engaging with this company. It is people like this that give the conveyancing industry a bad name. Unfortunately they are acting for my son's vendor so we had no choice. First time buyer and probate sale, so no chain at all - still can't get it right. Absolutely terrible company.

My sale completion date was the 14th November 2022. It is now January 2023 and there has been no actions on the E-way 'wheel of despair', nor any contact whatsoever from DC Law, for over 2 months. The whole conveyancing process has ground to a halt. I am now looking into lodging a formal complaint, this delay is costing me money. The service that is advertised bears no resemblance to the service that I have received.

Very bad experience. Please do not read the reviews on trustpilot as the negative reviews have been taken down even after submitting all the evidences. DC law is a paid customer of trustpilot so they look after the DC laws interests not the final customers. They have been recommended by an estate agent, but lesson learnt to use the one I choose. DC law is an absolutely a disaster. They most likely use unexperienced staff or don't treat them well. Not worth the money.
