“Purchased 3 smoke alarms, 1 heat alarm & 1 carbon monoxide.
On contacting supplier they advised the units to purchase to fit our existing base plates.
A huge thankyou, we only have to replace the base on the CM alarm.
This would have been 5 stars but packaging the alarms was very poor, luckily they weren’t damaged. Only packaging torn & bashed”
“The service from electricalwholesalers4u was fine but the Wylex metal clad fused switch should have been better for the price. Both top and bottom sides were distorded slightly near the gland ( probably caused in the manufacuring process ) and one cover from the two screws holding the switch to the housing was missing.”

Then couriers said Monday delivery but they attempted to come Saturday lunchtime (on the day contact). Delivery method needs sorting but apart from that ok.”

The only criticism would be that the parcel could have done with a more protection as it was evident that the courier had probably played football with it or something. The items work fine but I can imagine a lot of stuff gets returned as damaged on that basis.”
“Originally ordered from Amazon because Prime next day delivery needed to enable replacement of life expired and dead detector but Amazon lost my order in their fulfilment centre. Found elecricalwholesalers4u after cancelling the Amazon order and thought I was getting next day delivery but that too did not happen. While this was disappointing and left us with no detector for a few more days it was ordered in a hurry and I may have got the delivery info wrong. However, it was cheaper than Screwfix or Amazon.”
“Recommended by our electrician for being competitively priced. Have to agree, good price for the 2 smoke detectors purchased. Not happy with the delivery, though. Ordered on a Monday and no sign of delivery the following Monday. After a quick phone call, was advised that the problem was likely with the courier. Whatever the reason, arrived on Wednesday on a Next Day delivery.”
