“Getting through meeting with doctor and getting Rx was great keep it up regarding the finasteride that gets split into quarters, the pill cutting experience is not well designed. When a pill is quartered, the unusual shape permits being cut in half well, but the second cut to make a quarter is very difficult. Can you ship a cross cut splitter (one cut to make quarters)? And use circular or square pill shapes (only necessary for quarter pills)”

When splitting the tablets, don’t worry too much about cutting them into exactly 4 equal parts. Finasteride accumulates in your scalp over time so it’s okay if the pieces are not cut equally, as long as you keep taking 1 piece a day! “I got what I needed in the end, but the overall process had a few points of improvement. The online consult including the back and forth was rather quick, but I would have saved time if I was told my BP was mandatory. Where things got a bit hectic is when the online pharmacy reached out to me. The first thing they should have told me was to create an account on their site. Their response time to text messages was very long. What could have taken a few minutes took a few days. Plus, I had to ask several times for a tracking number, which they never gave me. I ended up creating an account on their side where I could find my information. But nobody thought to tell me that. I only thought of seeing if pocketpills had a website when I actually started getting worried that I may have gotten ripped off by some scam. It turned out I got the pills and they seem to suit me, so the outcome is good. The the journey was wonky. Cheers!”

However, we currently do not require for an account to be created with our partner pharmacy. The process can be done entirely through Essential Clinic. As for the tracking number, it is not offered for local deliveries as they are typically received the same day. We do agree that the self-serve order management portion of our website will need to be worked on so that all of the information related to your account can be found with ease.
