“The Boards for the Headboard did not line up and were too short which makes it difficult to put the rest of the Bed Together. AVOID Buying any of the Beds.”

“The slats for the bottoms of the under-bed boxes were totally warped because they are not finished, which is not stated in the product description. We had to cut/sand them to fit into the slots on the side rails. When I called customer service, they refused to give us any discount despite the photos and video we took of the problem. They said we voided the warranty by sanding/cutting them to fit. I will never do business with this company again. Beware.”

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, and we regret that the condition of the slats did not meet your expectations. Our intention is for all components to function properly so that you can enjoy your new bed fully. Regarding the warranty, we understand how disheartening it can be when alterations are necessary. While it could be tempting to alter things yourself we would always discourage any customer in doing so without first contacting us. “Just a quick note to thank Get Laid Beds for your wonderful craftsmanship and great customer service. I ordered The Deco Bed in Black. It arrived yesterday, 1 day ahead of schedule which worked out great for us. My husband put it together with no problem. Slept on it last night with no creaks or squeaks, and we have a very heavy mattress on top. Customer Service was great. I changed dimensions a couple times and nothing but cooperation from their great service department. Very happy with my purchase. Thank you for being here Get Laid Beds!”

“I didn't understand what made good or bad furniture, and used to think the obsession with real or not real wood was overblown. But then our much newer bed from Bed, Bath, and Beyond broke within a couple years, while the spare IKEA bed from 14 years ago is still standing. I was tempted to get from Amazon, being able to look at reviews, and because of how quick it would come. But, I wanted a good proper bed, all wood, solid, and came across Get Laid Beds. Cheeky name aside, the reviews seemed good, and the description of how the beds are made seemed like what I was looking for. It took about 3 weeks to get here, but it was worth it. Every piece was solid wood, save for two solid metal braces for the headboard. There were a few dings, but nothing significant. Putting the bed together wasn't as user friendly as say IKEA. You do have to do a bit of measuring for the slats for example. But given the Japanese inspired joinery, most pieces lined up nicely on at least one dimension. If you have a little bit of experience with tools, you can put this bed together. Even if you don't, this bed is worth hiring someone from TaskRabbit or Handy to help you out.”

“I really love my Low Modern Attic Bed and was pleasantly surprised at the clear/constant communication on the order status. What was most surprising is that it actually arrived in Puerto Rico on the date it was planned to! Would definitely recommend ordering from Get Laid Beds.”

“The bed was assembled well and structurally sound. I was pleased with the modifications that I requested. The screws were a bit tough to go in- given that it was the first time to be assembled, and it definitely requires more than one person in a few places, but otherwise very easy to do. The wood was well made. I was pleased with the small boards being easy to move around the house. I had been told it would be assembled in the room for me- that was not the case as DHL delivered it. A bit disappointing but I’m happy with the bed itself.”

“The bed is beautiful! It arrived in about 7 very long boxes, but wasn't too unwieldy. There wasn't very good tracking info, but it did arrive exactly on schedule. Bed itself was very easy to put together with two people and an electric drill. It's super solid and looks great. Only complaint is that one of the posts on the headboard has holes that have extremely shallow counter sinks, so the screw heads are pretty exposed on profile. This isn't the case on the other side, so it's pretty obviously a manufacturing defect. Not something worth really complaining about since this generally faces the wall anyway. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase, especially considering the price!”
