“I ordered bevelled rail (SKU:FBR18). I was wrong and bought 3 x 3 by 3 from the sails office. The bevelled rail was taken back and I was told that I will get a refund credit to my Debit Card. STILL WAITING. Other than the above, the service was excellent.”

“I thought I was ordering 3 x 1 m lengths of wood on the website but I had one 3 m length of wood delivered, which was difficult to get into the property. Maybe the website could be clearer about what exactly is being ordered. Other than that, good service and price.”

“All wood that was as ordered delivered on time. The only issue was some of the wood was covered in very dirty boot prints. As I was going to stain the wood this was not ideal”

“Ordering and paying was easy and picking a day to suit me for delivery was good. Any thing that I found was there was no email or text to keep me updated about the delivery . The delivery driver was very helpful and polite”

“First time ordering online from Harlow’s all was easy but was promised an email from them on the Friday before the Monday delivery to confirm this, nothing came so rang Long watton on Saturday morning to be told delivery from Derby branch so needed to call them for update. Checked with Derby branch and confirmed Monday am delivery, timber actually arrived Monday at 2pm , received an email following day to say my delivery was on its way to me to arrive on the day after it came. As usual quality timber order correct but need to improve your house keeping.”

“Sawn carcassing timber a bit rougher than expected but even with £53 delivery charge, still very reasonably priced & fit for purpose. But need to work on manner of delivery & use common sense - first batch (3.6m lengths) dumped at front door before I'd even opened it. Told them it's needed in the garden & I'd meet them at the side gate but they began stacking the rest along the side wall outside & drove off. 6 steps more & it would be safely inside where I could deal with it. I'm a lady in her 70s weighing 9.5 stone. Wood far too heavy to lift so had to drag each bundle in foot by foot on a hot morning. Not ideal!”

“Easy to order, bit of a wait for delivery but it’s a busy time. Knocked one star off because I ordered 4 panels all in dark oak. 2 were dark oak but 2 were a light stain. Didn’t have time to ask for replacement so I’ll have to paint them myself. Lovely delivery driver.”

“Wanted specific lengths for a small repair, only available at one depot. Not all lengths available on collection but extra product supplied to compensate. Not quite how I wanted to do the job but a fair way to resolve thanks.”
