“Not please with the handling of a delivery issue. Even though the order was placed many days ahead, either the Harlow dispatch group or the shipper they used messed up the delivery day I had set. Instead delivery came a day late where I needed a costly helping hand to sent home costing me a fortune. And instead of reimbursing the shipping fees, as shipping clearly wasn't up to standard which we pay top dollar for, I didn't get any indication the company was willing to reimburse the shipping fee, which I believe would be an appropriate goodwill gesture. UPDATE: They have now acknowledge their mistake and refunded the shipping fee. I give some credits back to Simon the customer liason officer of this company for excellent customer service. Changed stars from 1 back to 4 And recommendations from 1 to 7”

“Very nice, helpful staff on the counter and in the warehouse. The website ordering is clunky though....... staff tell me it allows the customer to order lengths that aren't in stock. In my case I had to buy two shorter lengths of one product ( instead of the longer piece I'd ordered on the web) which increased my costs. I was also unable to add a couple of products to my Web order, even though they were in stock - I bought these when I collected my order, but lost out on my 5% discount for the first order on these particular products. Notwithstanding the Web, which I'll not use again until it improves, I like the range of stock and reasonable pricing at Harlows, and really rate your staff.”

“Excellent Service, quick delivery. My only concern is that I should have gone to the local supplier rather than using the web service as I was charged too much for delivery IMOA as it came from the local supplier anyway.”

“Ordering online was simple and the Team helpful when I queried stock items, however the delivery wasn't so good as the items didn't arrive when expected. I chased the delivery a couple of times and Ben was really responsive and it was clear the courier company weren't keeping Harlow or me up to date, citing they had 2 unsuccessful delivery attempts (I didn't receive a call and was at home on both occasions). So the delivery was a week later than advised. Not ideal, but I appreciated the help from the Team to resolve the issue and it wouldn't put me off using Harlow again.- hence the 4 stars.”

“Ordered via website and chose my delivery date. Driver called on the morning and was on time. Driver was very helpful and pleasant and the wood was good quality. Definitely use again.”

“I ordered small amount of 3.9m cladding-not worth of cutting to purchased length, arrived at 4.8m to local Tuffnels courier. These guys were not able to load it, so that I must have picked from their depot,but they did not let me to cut it on their premises and I ended up in the street with toolbox out. My back went, job not finished in time....Harlow, thanx for extra meter of length, but i know locals-thay can steal 2.5 million with the worse genotype this country has on offer within half year, but they don't bother to pick the phone and say that delivery is not going to happen as they promised the day before.....nightmare after nightmare....”

“Product was great, arrived in timescale required, fitted by a decorator for us. We could’ve done with a notification it was en route as we weren’t living at the address it was shipped to but otherwise really good and easy to order”
