Sent a basket worth over $200 to a customer that fell ill and the package bounced around for well over a week only to have my sick customer have to go to the post office to pick it up. The live plant had several flowers fall off and it looks sick as well as the baked goods were smashed in the boxes. The company did nothing to help, simply advised to keep trying the shipping company with whom they hired. It was supposed to be 2 day service and it ended up being 12 days with a live plant and baked goods. I asked about a potential partial refund as they did not deliver the package or possibly a credit and was told the only way they would do this is if the basket was been returned to their warehouse. at my expense. They did not care that the package was bouncing around the province, they did not advise that there may be an issue with the delivery address which was a town...not like a farm or somewhere rural). Completely unprofessional and only cared about "send us a review". Well, here is the honest review. The recipient was supposed to have a nice gift to brighten their day as they go through extremely tough times and this only created them more grief. Enjoy this honest review...I hope you don't delete it.

If 0 star was an option I would choose that. Received a customized basket with a broken/withering orchid. Contacted customer service and not an ounce of apology but instead blames it on the customer.

I would never order anything again from this company. We ordered chocolate covered strawberries for a birthday gift 5 days in advance, we stated delivery had to be before 9am and Noon and our confirmation stated the same timeframe. Never showed up on day we ask. We contacted Hazeltons and delivery company, Hazeltons was no help other than repeating they have no control over delivery times. It’s now days later and we don’t know where our perishable gift is. Of course when you call for a refund you get the run around from Hazeltons. Thanks goodness for credit card companies.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I ordered a birthday gift for my brother and they delivered a broken cutting board and no balloon and demanded that I take photos and show them the broken board and that the balloon is missing. I had to ask my brother to take photos of the missing ballon (???) and customer service refused to issue a refund without photos of the missing ballon (???). It was ridiculous. They did nothing to compensate me for the errors and the time I spent trying to get a refund. Sadly, I neglected to read the negative reviews before ordering.

This company is a scam and pays bots to write fake reviews. Do yourself a favour and google "Hazelton's Gift Basket Scam" before purchasing anything - you will see CBC and CTV have covered this company's malicious scamming several times but the company keeps changing its name and inhibiting reviews to continue to steal from Canadians.

run, don’t walk away from this company!! Once they have your money they will not deliver as advertised. I even gave them ways to correct THEIR mistakes.

Order was delivered late and the cupcakes were in terrible shape. Do not recommend and will never use this service again.

This company will take your money and run says #1 rated this must be a joke. Why they don't have any google reviews just there own. Stay away far away.

Glad you asked, so thoughtful.... 1. The original order was delivered 2 days later than the 2-3 day window as described. 2. The order was "damaged" on delivery. 3. After 45 calls and over 4 hours of wait time, I finally got to your wonderful outsourced customer service team that did an awesome job (that's a joke). 4. I asked for a replacement instead of refund....instead you resent the damaged packages that had rotten strawberries, dead roses, and chipped champagne glasses. How classy of you! The WORST experience I have ever had online with any company. Spending $260+ dollars for this BS.

Basket had lots of missing items. The items were all overpriced and it was still half full. They claimed they put in substitutes but they didn't. It's a scam company. They paid a company in the Phillipines to top up their Google reviews and they got pulled down eventually and now they are doing the same here. Look at Trust Pilot and Better Business Bureau.

My mother ordered a surprise package for me. The delivery company HAZELTON'S uses didn't call me and notify me only hours later, and the package left in the entrance to the building. Meanwhile the package was stolen. I tried to reach HAZELTON'S customer service but was noted that customer is accepting the risk of lost and stolen gifts/gift baskets, and a lot more "explanations" it is not HAZELTON'S responsibility. Be aware when you order!

This company is a disgrace. Save yourself a lot of heartache and spend your money elsewhere. Delivered on the wrong day. Sent the hamper miles away from the delivery address with instructions for the receiver to travel there and pick it up themselves. Gave us the wrong tracking particulars and when they eventually reimbursed us had the audacity to deduct the delivery charges. Never again.

Like others, my Christmas gift basket order was made weeks ahead of time. It arrived 6 days late, and was delivered in cardboard boxes just left in their carport. I honestly think the recipients too were embarrassed to tell about of the state of the contents. No heads up nor apology from the company. Also, the company didn't post my honest review. Their own website's ratings default to 5 stars, even if you pick a lower number. Take your business elsewhere!

Well, this is my second review of this company since they removed the review I posted on their website. They passed the buck on everything. The pie was attempted to be delivered 3 days before requested, then wasn't delivered at all and none of the contact numbers were used to confirm the address, then delivered almost a week late. Not only that, the final pie that arrived was smashed and mouldy and cherry. It was an order for a pumpkin pie. Both the courier company and Hazelton's did not do the most basic elements of their supposed services: on time delivery and delivering the correct item in good shape.

Sadly cannot get through to Hazeltons to leave any messages. It doesn't allow you to leave messages...just goes off. They only want to communicate by email.Packaging was terrible, and in bad shape. Food item was rotten. It is impossible to communicate with them.

We had ordered a gift basket of a jelly bean dispenser as a Christmas gift and they sent something completely different. They have horrible customer service and now we have to dispute the charge through our credit card company. This company is a scam… with low grade cheap products.

The hamper I ordered for my friend's first Christmas as a married couple was a disaster, which is very sad, as I was so looking forward to sending them something lovely. I am in the UK and they are in America. The hamper was not packaged sufficiently so the wine bottle smashed, and not only ruined the hamper experience, but also made the items unusable/ inedible. My friends had a hell of mess that arrived and couldn’t enjoy any of it. Instead of being gracious about this, the company were less than helpful and only prepared to replace the wine bottle! I’ve never experienced such terrible customer service in my life. I even had pictures and videos. They also didn’t make my redelivery a priority before Christmas so it didn’t arrive before the holidays and they refused to offer a goodwill gesture too. Simply amateurish, appalling, unfair, and short sighted. I urge anyone never to use this company. I couldn’t be less impressed. The communication on email between myself and “Rica” was very poor; they didn’t read the emails correctly and kept sending standard answers and not replying to the individual points raised. The process was time consuming and painful without the desired outcome. Simply poor and unacceptable.
