Had to find a tap handle for my Moen faucet. Guy working plumbing knew nothing about what type of handles HD stocks. Didn't want to suggest or check any other stores for stock. Sorry for making you do the job you get paid for, jerk! Fire this clown!!

Placed an online order, was to be delivered on a specific date, on that date the delivery company contacted me to set up delivery for the following week??? They said it arrived that day, when in fact according to tracking, it had arrived 2 days prior. Contacted home depot re this issue, could not get through to anyone, called for 2 days to different customer services numbers to no avail. One number hours before it was closed indicated that due to the holiday customer service was closed to allow employees to spend time with their families for the holiday, there is no holiday. Another kept saying due to the current situation all lines are full and they couldnt take any more calls, again what situation??? They have the worst customer service ever, I honestly dont think they care about their customers once an order is taken. This is not the first time either, previous online orders just dropped after they are payed for, takes 5 to 7 days to get money back on my credit card, but at least it gets there. Worst company ever. Unable to cancel order online, unable to get ahold of a live person to cancel order, unable to get through to delivery company to find out what is going on??????????????

The Home Depot showed their product (PRO-MIX Vegetable & Herb Mix Model # 4981401|Store SKU # 1000733914) as "Eligible for free parcel shipping over $35" .  At the bottom of the page the "STANDARD SHIPPING Out of Stock" for most of the promotion.  Yet with in 4 kl of where I live the store had more than 300 in stock, and there pay for service "EXPRESS DELIVERY Delivered within 3 hours Order by 4:00 PM $9.97" appears to have no issue finding stock. To top that off they then canceled my paid delivery order with no explanation. Will now order from another company that I can count on.

Went into home depot to look at lawn furniture. Found a bistro set I liked but wanted to sit in in and make sure it was what I wanted. The lady at self checkout called the garden center because it was positioned 10 to 12 foot up and she said he could bring it down. Garden center employee couldn't be bothered. Basically told us he wouldn't bring even 1 chair down!customer service sucks. 500.00 wasn't worth his energy.

Home Depot staff know nothing about plumbing. Set me up with the wrong rubber seals for my tap. Had to go back three times to get the right ones, even though I brought the original seal in to compare. Garbage!

I purchased a bathroom vanity online from Bath Depot and paid for it with my credit card. Due to condo rules, I had to get a smaller size. I phoned Bath Depot and indicated I had to cancel the order. They cancelled it immediately over the phone and said it would be 15 business days to receive the refund. True to their word, the money was refunded to my credit card in that time frame. It was very easy to work with them and they did what they said they would do. A note for others, they do not provide a cancellation number. I just noted the name of the customer service rep I was dealing with and date and time of the conversation.

We spent over $20,000.00 for 21 windows in our home. The manufacture and delivery of the initial 11 of those 21 windows was botched. Only 5 were delivered. The other 6 were not in the order. The installation of those 5 windows was late and the final trim work was horrible. Louis, the installer, left me low-grade, unstained, and unmitered wood to stain myself and hang. DHM Construction had to repair Louis' work. DHM Construction also installed the other 10 windows ordered last year for our 2nd floor. The windows were installed and caulked from the inside & without the use of a ladder. On 12/25/22, a cold front with wind gusts of 40 mph blew outside and 13 windows began whistling in our home. The whistling continues every time the winds get gusty where we live. After repeated & recent attempts to contact Matt Morra, Ed May, and Brandon Hallman, Home Depot reps/contractors, THE DEFECTIVE WINDOWS HAVE NOT BEEN REPAIRED OR REPLACED!!! NONE OF THESE REPS HAS RETURNED OUR CALLS FOR HELP!. This intentional disregard of a problem with a Home Depot product by Home Depot reps is shameful. As a result of this terrible incident, which continues to go unresolved, I will never buy another home product from The Home Depot!!!

I puchased a new Heat Pump and furnace as well as humidifier in our home for $15,000 from Home Depot and they subcontracted the installation to A Plus Air. After the installation we had very dry air in the house which caused us discomfort sleeping at night. We often called A Plus Air to service our system annually. 9 years had passed and we finally discovered that A Plus Air had never cut a hole into the furnace duct to allow moist air to flow from our humidifier through our heating system. They attached the humidifier flange to the solid metal wall of the exterior of the furnace with 8 screws but never cut a 6 inch hole into the furnace. They have the sales contract yet denied they installed the humidifier and refused responsibility unless I provided my receipt. It took me 6 months to locate my receipt when they had the paperwork all this time. I'm very disappointed with Home Depot's refusal to take accountability and will never use them again

Just came back from Home Depot West Edmonton to pick up an order that was on hold for a month or so since we were on vacation. It was for our Christmas tree. Amount was $64 and I had my confirmation email and bar code to claim. However it wasn't released to me because I don't have a photo ID at that time. I offered the sales person by the name of Anna at the Home Depot West Edmonton to prove my identity by showing her my work business card and email signature to prove my identity yet she insisted that she needs my photo ID. No photo ID means no release of item. We are regular customers at Home Depot and she did not offer any other solution. I don't have time to come back to the store. My husband was with me and still she won't take his ID which had been presented to the store multiple times as we are online shoppers. As I got frustrated I've asked her to return the item and she did right away. I told her that you now believed that it's me as you took my instruction to return. As I understand that this is company policy for photo ID, this policy is a bit rigid to consider another proof of udentity. I also gave her an example that if someone had an order of $1 and the claimant forgot the ID, still they require a photo ID. It was a pity as a lost business for the store and for us not to have a Christmas tree. I hope Home Depot will get some coachings done to provide flexibility and for their associates to provide better advise and solutions rather than being absolute. IDs are needed to validate someone's identity yet even if I showed her the order email confirmation and QR, still she insisted to company policy yet she took my instructions to return the item. I hope that I am feeling wrong that I'm not discriminated because I'm a person of color. We have spent tens of thousands at this store and was just taken as a number.

I wanted to give a shoutout to Callum, one of your sales associates at the Waterloo North store, who helped me with an appliance order last night. Very helpful, knowledgeable and personable.

Price was right, reason for 2 stars but order to be shipped to my home. Many of the item in stock at stores here near me in Canada but they shipped it from California on the other side of the continent. it took one week to leave C.A. and a few more days to make to mid west U.S. at this rate will take close to a month to get here and will be to cold out side to intall it. I try to by from Canadian and U.S. companies as China not our friends but wow!

My landlord (who is VERY good at such things) went and bought a refrigerator from Home Depot to replace ours which had broken down. They were also supposed to take the old one. It was to be delivered a couple days later in the morning. No specific time was given (they say @ 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., thus effectively killing any activities, including work, for that day). When the morning came, a truck showed up, but ...no fridge! I was told it would be delivered the next day in the morning. I was also instructed to take down certain things, bannisters and the like to facilitate easier loading/unloading, as they were also supposed to remove the old fridge. Please note they have already been paid for the fridge and it's delivery, and the removal of the old fridge. The next morning a truck showed up and they started to unload ...a STOVE! Then, without even trying to explain, they reloaded the stove, got in their truck and left. They explained to the landlord that the fridge would be there sometime before 8 p.m. that evening. Nope... nothing... not a peep from Home Depot. So now here we sit in limbo (and have sat for the better part of a week) not knowing when or even IF the new refrigerator will show up. We have no information, and selected parts of the house have been disassembled to accomodate these people , should they decide to ever show up. Meanwhile , I cannot go to work, and have no idea whatsoever how long Home Depot is going to take, or any idea as to the status of what has now become a fiasco. I'm wondering if the whole thing wasn't just a rip-off.

Ordered shower enclosure from Home Depot on line, Maxx shower. 1st 2 that came were defective, 1 had a gash in the back and 1 the mounting holes were drilled upside down. 3rd time lucky the enclosure was ok. This required about 6 months. Picked up a door for the shower, in stock item for home depot, got it home and it was missing all the mounting hardware, will return and special order when my blood pressure stabilizes. Home Depot good on returns but you can count on returning items 2 or 3 times until you finally get lucky and that weekend project, probably closer to a year when using Home Depot.

Tried to use the project loan and kitchen design services. Started the ball rolling September 10, had the virtual meeting, paid for installer to take measurements, then it started - took almost 2 months to get an estimate and the estimate for installation is 2.5x the price of the cheap kitchen. Then I am told the installer is very busy anyway and would t be available until next year. Then I am told the pre-assembled cheap cabinets I chose are not available. And I can’t get the measurements I paid for or the refund- so a total scam! Wasted 2 months of my life and took almost $200 bucks. Even if I chose to go with my own installers I can’t get the colour I want for the cabinets. Waste of time!

Went with Home Depot since i wanted to support local. Purchased a garage door in June since the bottom of my garage door fell off. Had to wait till last week of October for them to install it. If you decide to go through them be prepared to wait more than 120 days

I ordered moving boxes and because the tracking was wrong was promised $25 gift card. I keep getting the run around of not providing it. Bad customer service when it comes to giving for inconvenience when they will do anything not to honor it. They gave me a tickyno. 4679314. I did receive a $15card for delivery not brought up to my apt. Jeffrey Sanchez is the one who keeps resending the same email without reading what I am saying. I just want thy$25 gift card.
