“Very bad services and the team is giving different reply each time you call them. I tried to set the hotspot as it doesn’t activate automatically like other networks and each of the customer service team provide different user name and PW and after 3 calls their team failed to sort out the problem and they said they will escalate to the tech team, so I lost two days unable to connect my laptop to through the hotspot. Very bad services!”

“Awful customer service. I can't comment about the actual phone service as I never received my SIM card. When I asked about a refund, I was asked for information that the company should have had already. I was also asked for information I never provided on my order. Unprofessional and dangerously unsecure. I never received a name for the customer service rep and responses only arrived when prompted. My order was in November and I still haven't resolved the issue. I attempted to email again in hopes of getting a different rep, but now my emails have been completely ignored.
Based on the fact that they took my money, strung me along for four months and would ignore my questions and ask for more information they didn't need, I would say that this company is a scam.”
“I just spent 45 minutes on chat with Lycamobile customer service. The chat service is useful. Lycamobile is a waste of money. It's better to buy a cheap data plan in the country where you are working. Need to make calls? Purchasing a SIM card in the country where you are visiting is cheaper. I spent $100 (US) and 2 hours+ in time. Neither can be refunded. I was told that "refunds are subject to approval..." translation is up to the reader of this review.
Don't purchase anything from lycamobile...you'll be sorry and you will lose money. Guaranteed.”

“It is difficult to find the right words to describe how bad Lycamobile is as a mobile service provider
The plans are not really plans. They are more like a vehicle to extract more money from you if you want the service to continue.
You receive endless text messages asking you to take certain actions which seem unrelated to what you have bought
And you are supposed to constantly reset the $ limit on downloads so you don’t exceed your allowance but whatever you set seems to make zero difference to your balance being quickly exhausted
I would recommend to everyone to NEVER go near Lycamobile”

Now the website to top up is not working - the screen shows blank 'chose your amount' page for hours.

“Never seen worser customer service i topped up on the 20th if January it's now the 7th of February still no bundle on my acount but they deducted £25 from my acount I've rang multiple times each time I get told something diffrent on the 29th of January I was told the money will be back in my acount with in 5/7 days its now the 7th I rang and was told I need a 8 didget pin number they will contact me again in 24 / 48 hours I've been told this multiple times I've made them repeat my email address over again to make sure there getting it right I never receive emails or when I do its just an automatic response from a machine I'm a new customer just moved from 3 looks like im going back to 3 this isn't worth the hassle terrible customer service treated as if I was stupid and didn't know what I was speaking about asking am I sure I bought a bundle!! I'm sure the first thing you do when your bundle doesn't come on is check to make sure the amount was deducted from your bank ! Look into the huge deals they have with the UK Conservatives, that screams fruad. Oh wait, they got done for fruad donating to the conservatives. So my partner's £80 that was stolen for a service they say they don't actually need to deliver has gone to a Tory. Fantastic, just like my taxes.”
