Usually works well, but disappointing that it doesn’t work with Autodesk’s BIM360 platform which is becoming the industry standard in construction.

I have been a user for many years now and find it an invaluable resource in finding and keeping historical records even when using a number of email accounts. It has proven itself when matters have been questioned after a long period of time and I can say that it has paid for itself in both the time and money saved.

Have been using mail manager for about a year now. It enables us to manage our email inboxes and to find old messages. Now that correspondence is almost wholly by email instead of paper letters, it was essential to find and use a suitable system and this is better that the two previous systems we used. Surprisingly a couple of members of staff are not yet convinced of the benefits. Would prefer MM to suggest filing locations using the project as first priority, rather than by person. We run a number of different projects with the same client team. Getting old emails, prior to using MM, filed under the MM style was a problem and perhaps this would be a suitable improvement for the future.

Hi Team, Probably a little early to be asking this question, as we've only just signed up a couple of days ago! That said, the pre-purchase trial was very promising and service in this early phase has been very good. Bradley George has been great, not least in getting up at all hours to talk to us Sydney time! Maybe ask again in a month or so's time. Crosbie Lorimer

Can be slowness of appearance in inbox, particularly when transferring files by email

Small footprint that integrates well with Outlook. The simplicity is it's biggest asset.

This program is fairly easy to use once you finally managed to get it set up and linked to your files etc; and has definitely made life easier and quicker at the office! The support team have always been very helpful, which is great for someone like me who is not completely tech savy!

two things I recommend are looked at: Filing is chronological downwards into the future month by month. It would be much better if there was a continuim of dates without monthly batches reading upwards. When sending an email there is no confirmation stamp on the email confirming it has in fact been filed.

Mail Manager integrates very well with Outlook. It helps primarily to store your e-mails in a designated (project) folder keep your Inbox and Sent-items box tidied up: my primary objective. But this can't go without the powerful search functions for sender, addressee, subject, content, time range, whatever.

It would be really handy to have a 'file & delete' option to automatically remove an email from one's inbox rather than having to wait for it to file first. This would be useful when there is no or limited internet connection. Also, it would still be better if clicking on open emails in the search window would take you to the email rather than just saying that it cannot be accessed because it is already open. I usually have several emails open so locating those which are already open on my desk top isn't that simple.

Hi Andrew, Thanks for your feedback. The reason why emails aren't deleted before they're filed, is in case there are sync issues during the sending process. Essentially, it's best if emails are filed first to be on the safe side. I'll mention your suggestion about the search window to our Development team. Many Thanks, Alex

Hi, thanks for your review. We like users to retain some control over where emails are filed, to avoid difficulty finding information later on. However, the more Mail Manager learns your filing behaviours, the more accurate your filing suggestions will be. Many Thanks, Alex
