Worst company I've ever had to deal with. Communication is terrible and caused me so much stress when I had to make a claim. The claim went on for months, then received threats of charges over 11k pounds for the courtesy car I was provided and used for 1 month. The car was written off, so I cancelled my policy and was told my payments would stop. Four months after cancelation and they are still taking money from my bank account, and then proceeded to renew the policy on the car that was written off. This has resulted in the payments for the new policy doubling even after I cancelled my policy, the car doesn't exist now and I told the company not to renew. Biggest scam insurance company I've ever known, please check Trustpilot and see the thousands of people who have been scammed by this so called insurance company.

Definitely stay away if you don't want to get sick! It has been 55 days since they took my car, and I'm left without a courtesy car. I have to pick up my child from school with no transportation. Marshmallow is not offering any solution other than keeping you waiting. I keep getting sent from S&G to Marshmallow and back again. I've sent an official complaint and will be in touch with watchdog and also the financial ombudsman. It's just a waste of time expecting a solution from Marshmallow. This situation is extremely distressing and frustrating. Waiting for so long can have a detrimental effect on mental health, and it's truly unbearable.I don't want anyone to experience this awful feeling. I will continue to provide updates on how the process progresses from here.Please stay away.!!!

Honestly the worst company ever! I was alsed to upload proof documents which I did many time through their website. I thought everything was fine because I never heard back. Then July 10th they sent me an email to upload proof documents again be 3pm. I uploaded all the documents again at 8am and received an email thanking me for uploading my documents.i sent a message through the app asking if they received my documents and they never answered me. 4pm comes around and I get an email saying my policy was canceled because my documents were not uploaded in time. Now I am stuck here scrambling for insurance. I tried to use a compare site to get an alternative insurance but now the only insurance quotes I am getting are over 350 per month because they recorded that my insurance was canceled... Bare in mind I was paying 90 pounds per month with marshmallow and only chose then because they were the cheapest... I believe that this company is a complete scam and just out to get money and will cancel your policy for no good reason as others have meantioned in other reviews. If I could give 0 stars I would!

It's the worst company I have had the misfortune to deal with their lady Diana is rude and unhelpful, I will be changing companies as soon as the period is up......DONT SIGN UP WITH THEM

If people are smart, they won’t insure with this company. £950 excess!!!! Increasing a premium from £4K to £5k after submitting an accepted proof of no claims? Outrageous. Gone with another company. Good luck if you choose to go with this company. I’ve called the FCA and hope this company is fined, shut down or sanctioned in some way.

This company refused to continue cover on the car I was selling for the 2 weeks it took to sell. I had bought a new car and they moved my current policy to the new car when they could have given me a separate policy for the new car. It meant my car was uninsured which could have been disastrous. They doubled my premium this year despite no claims. I spent ages on their awful ‘chat’ which eventually cancelled my renewal. No confirmation was sent to me. They have now renewed the policy and want to charge me £30 to cancel!!!!!

No phone number to call. Online chat takes hours to respond. Verification of photo ID with your selfie. In case if you don’t upload the iD in short time, but they won’t tell you how much time you have. They will cancel your policy. Without sending you email or text or call. So if you are waiting for driving license because of any reason don’t bothered. My iD came days before the policy start and I was simply unable to upload them. They don’t care if you will stay. They expect you to get another quote that cost twice as much.

This company is awful and doesn't think about being customer oriented at all. If you don't have comprehensive information about British laws, they will change your plan and empty your account. It has very poor support and does not care about your time at all...

Disgusting company DO NOT INSURE WITH THEM! I was pulled over due to an internal error that they put the wrong registration on my policy and then when police pointed out it was their error they cancelled my policy left me stranded car was sent to the pound I got 6 points and £300 fine then they send an email and mess this up too! I’ve tried to call them can’t get through no discussion with them live chat is rotten so now I’m seeking assistance from ombudsman. Total disgrace and all they had to do was correct the registration and the police wouldn’t have done the above. Take note of the warning STAY CLEAR IF THESE CROOKS

This company shouldn't be trading at all. I had a car insurance with them and had a car accident hit by third party. They don't have a no fault claim service meaning you will pay access and will not be able to recover back at all. Customer services is poor only on chat and email where they ask same question again again without providing you any concrete information. I have comprehensive cover with replacement vehicle cover and should get a vehicle if in accident. Got the car after 3 weeks with the repair garage and they taken away after few days without repairing car. Car written off. Took several weeks to get the money back for written car. 8 months gone and claim still not settled so paying high insurance cost till this is settled. They rely on third parties with no service at all. The other party admitted the fault but imagine loosing your access, paying high insurance costs and daily mental torture. If you want a really headache, mental torture and plenty of money to loose then buy non existing service

SAME AS JUSTIN AT THE BOTTOM REVIEW. Such a HORRIBLE experience! Got hit by another car last week then began to do the insurance. Wasn’t my fault and they decided me as total lost and written off my car. But then Marshmallow suddenly cancelled my policy without notice. As a claimer, its really RIDICULOUS to bear all the charges just because they DONT want to cover the insurance.

Very disappointed, it is 29 days since I started my claim, no repair started, it looks like they are trying to push me to cancel my claim. I started my claim on Jan 23, it takes them 2 weeks to find garage 35 mike from my address, even the garage refused my car as they are full, I booked with a local garage, then it take them another two weeks before they start to assess my repair assessment , tell today they did not do anything, they did not provide courtesy car. I strongly do not recommend this company, they are very nice untill you start your claim

This is one of the most horrible company. i been i car accident since 20 january and it wasn’t my fault and they decided me as total lost and written off my car, i dont know how else to deal with them and not just that i have been 1 month and still nothing. and after they come to me to let me know the car is written off as total lost, and they never come and see my car at all and decide whatever they wanted and the car cost me £8000 and tey value my car £7380 minus £750 acces and minus £2080 to pay the whole insurance so they want to give to me £4550 and to take my car,this is o unacceptable… after they give me until 30 days to put in insuranc another car. i did buy 2 days ago another car cheaper one and the insurance will cost a year 1 £1800 less . they accepted to insure my vw and they still charged me £243 a months and they took my money on my bank without been agreed they charged me same like the price i was for my mercedes E clas, they cancel the insurance to my mercedes and transferred to my golf vw and priced me same money and they still wants to pay to them £2080 for whole year insurance ATTENTION my name is Justin whoever had very bad experience with this company i’m texting to call everyone to join me i will start a court against them i will shoot down this company so they will not ript of anomyre other customers. this is my contact number 07383867210

Thieves, fraudsters and liars along with their partner in crime primafina! And yes that is a claim and yes I have the evidence to back up that claim. Here's the bad news for you guys, I'm a practicing attorney! Enjoy!! Oh and ps if I could award you a minus 5 I would!

Was on autorenew even though I said I didn't want to. Policy went up by £4oo, I tried live chat, nobody got back to me. Have emailed, no response. Have cancelled my policy within 7 days of it starting. Received email stating they are charging me £25 for cancelling. Thought all companies give a 14 day cooling off period.
