MyBodyTutor has been a game-changer for me these past few months. I've lost weight before, but after life got crazy and I gained some weight back, I couldn't seem to kickstart things and get back to where I wanted. MyBodyTutor's simple but effective method of accountability is what really made a difference to me. I knew what I needed to do, but it wasn't until I had a third party keeping me honest that I started to see results again. Highly recommend.

I've owned businesses in the fitness industry for over a decade. I've worked alongside the world's top fitness coaches. MyBodyTutor is completely unique to the world of nutrition coaching. I was binge-eating at night, and it would mess up my sleep and my energy for the next day. With eating, I've tried group coaching, one-on-one coaching, challenges, and even became an expert on the knowledge behind nutrition. What was missing in these was learning how to know what my body needs when I'm hungry. Often, it's not food. Through Sam Parr, I learned about MyBodyTutor. I was hesitant because I didn't know if it would work, and then I'd be out of time and money. But the results were better than I could have imagined. I haven't binge eaten in 6 months. I feel better. I look better. I no longer have that burden of fighting off food when the sun goes down.

I was insecure, unhappy, and experiencing joint pain and constant injuries. I was active on a daily basis, so I justified my extra weight because I still got lots of exercise. The exercise felt hard, but I was used to that after so long. I tried eating "healthy" and working out a lot to lose weight in the past. I could get a few pounds off but nothing more, and I could not get it to hold for very long. A friend found MyBodyTutor on Google, and I was hopeful to lose weight and feel better. I had doubts, though. I was convinced I was never going to lose weight after trying so many different programs that I was afraid to fail again. But now I am 50 pounds lighter, I feel amazing, and I am having so much more fun being active and getting dressed each day. I like looking in the mirror and seeing pictures of myself again. Most of my aches and pains have gone away. It has carried over in so many ways in my life that there is no doubt that I am committed to maintaining my new lifestyle. If I find myself regressing, it is a relief that MyBodyTutor will be there for me to get back on track. The daily support of my incredible coach, who was not judgmental, had a sense of humor, and reminded me that I do not always have to be perfect, is what led to my success in losing 50 pounds. I finally committed to cutting out the wine, carbs/starch, which made all the difference. Journaling and being held accountable with pictures and descriptions of my eating and exercise habits really gave me the perspective to be successful. Having a coach tell me I am doing great and to not give up after any screwup or lull in the process was key. I find eating between specific hours and keeping it within an 8-hour window to be super beneficial. Eating a savory breakfast and saving fruit snacks for after a meal is helpful. I stick to 3 meals a day and cut out the snacking. I make sure to do some sort of movement after eating, even if it is only a 10-minute walk. My plate is generally 2/3 veggies and 1/3 protein. If I am hungry and cannot satiate my "hunger" with a mint tea latte, then I choose a healthy snack over sugar or carbs. I now prioritize myself first and make sure to get 7-8 hours of sleep each night. This program works!! It might seem annoying at first—time-consuming journaling and taking photos each day—but it is totally worth it. I expected someone to give me a diet to follow, but in reality, I needed to figure out what worked for me and was manageable, so I was not miserable on this journey. It feels good to be in control of what I eat and make my own decisions. It has taught me how to move forward without the support. I feel incredible and am so grateful for everyone at MyBodyTutor. I only wish I had found this program 15 years ago.

If you are looking for daily accountability this is the place to go. You also get daily feedback from a caring tutor. I really like that they don’t just hand you some diet but rather, you are able to eat any foods within moderation. This program deals with physical activity and making smart choices. Wish I had found this years ago.

My Body Tutor is the most holistic, well rounded and supportive program I have found to help me shift my relationship to food and my body. My coach Abby was always there for me on so many levels - she has extensive knowledge in nutrition and balanced food/health choices, while also being highly skilled in more subtle areas such as helping clients emotionally regulate and create strategies to develop lasting change. Her compassionate active listening helped me to move past my feelings of victimization to more empowered choices and mindset. She intuitively knows when to motivate and challenge me, and when to give space for my process. I am just blown away and inspired by who she is as a person. Through this program, I have become more in touch with my body, mind, and spirit connection, and am forever changed by having signed up. The company really cares, and comes from such a service oriented place. Our success is their success! 100% recommend.

My workout pants no longer fit. I was going to buy a bigger size. I was fearful things were getting worse, not better, and I needed a plan. I needed some guidance and a dose of reality to break out of my routine that was not working. In the past, I just did random things. I tried what I heard people talk about. People who didn't have a clue. I worked out but never focused on my nutrition. I didn't have a clue. I did random things and watched my body change some, but ultimately, year after year, I ended up in the same place with 18+% body fat. I wasn't consistent, and I had no idea what I was doing. I also thought I could eat how I ate in college, but I was SO wrong. I thought I knew what I was doing. It wasn't until I stopped lying to myself and admitted I was clueless that I could start. I heard about MyBodyTutor from Noah Kagan and Sam Parr, and my goal was to get down to 10% body fat and learn what I needed to be doing. My hopes were that I could build muscle and still enjoy eating. I lost 14 lbs to date and added 5 lbs of lean muscle mass. I went from 18.4% body fat to 11.2%—I dropped 7.2% body fat this YEAR! Best of all, I can still wear my workout shorts—in fact, any clothes I want to. I don't feel uncomfortable with my shirt off, and I have a lot more energy. What makes MyBodyTutor different? 1x1 coaching and feedback. I didn't always agree with my coach, but 9 times out of 9 he was right. It took a bit for me to be okay with the feedback, but I liked how my coach was the right support I needed, and it felt custom to me. If you're thinking about joining, do it and get out of your own way. Stop listening to your friends and family who don't have a clue. Stop trying random things and go get 1x1 coaching from a pro.

MBT has been a very different program than any one I have ever done. I resonated so much with the fact that Adam said many of us know what to do, we just struggle with actually doing it, and the accountability daily was key for me. I have done many programs through the years to try to lose weight but none of them tackled the underlying emotional issues that were driving the eating. That's where Ruth came in. I could not imagine a kinder, more insightful coach. She listened to me vent and ramble and was consistently able to pinpoint the immediate challenge I was facing. Then she would offer gentle suggestions for how to move forward. We took baby steps because that's all I could handle at the time. One of the things we did initially was to have me set a 5 minute timer before I ate any sweets/ junk food. I was still permitting myself to eat the food (softening the restriction and past perfectionism which led me to binging), but we were creating some space between the impulse and the choice to eat. I truly thought I had full self-awareness but I was shocked at how many times a day I was reaching for food to settle emotions. We also focused on changing the negative thoughts in my head to be more positive. Each night I wrote down what was good about the day. It was very hard at first but then it got a little easier and I'm hopeful that as time goes on, I will find myself looking more for the positive than the negative in my life. We also tried to soften the shame that I felt after binging or eating sweets and instead focused on getting myself back on track as quickly as possible so that I wouldn't spiral out of control, saying to myself, "well I screwed up, eff it, why don't I just eat everything in sight and start again tomorrow". In terms of movement, we focused on consistency rather than intensity. In the past, I would do a tough workout program for a week or two and then burn out. We focused on 10 minutes of movement every single day. It was really hard because it felt like it wasn't enough, but I knew that building a consistent habit would be much more valuable in the long run for my health. When I got impatient and fearful that I would never lose weight, Ruth was always there to listen and hold out the hope and confidence for me that I didn't have for myself. Our work isn't done yet but we are off to a great start.

When I teamed up with Walter from My Body Tutor, I didn’t just get generic advice; I received a tailored strategy that understood me. It's the difference between a one-size-fits-all approach and a custom bespoke solution. I couldn't recommend Walter and My Body Tutor more highly.

The program was excellent. I achieved the majority of my goals. I primarily wanted to understand best nutrition practices - I never knew or had confidence in exactly what I should be doing or eating. Now I feel better and stronger about this. The monthly fee was well worth it to achieve this goal. I would highly recommend MyBodyTutor to anyone.

My Body Tutor was by far one of my favorite programs to ever participate in. I had always been looking for a method to lose weight. I had this desire to look a certain way, which for that desire I am happy I joined this program. I was also studying mindfulness with really locked in the decision to participate in this specific program as it’s a holistic approach. Of course trying something new and making the decision to have a one on one coach can be something new, exciting, unraveling to the comfort zone and a bit scary. However, this program… has been able to repair my trust. Working with Sena showed me I can be vulnerable with someone and they will be there with me to help guide me to a better relationship with food, my body image and my movement. But before that, I was able to speak with Adam and he gave me the certainty that this program was going to be helping me not hurting me. That they were here to support. And truly. It’s been a beautiful experience. When I needed someone’s support the most, Sena was there. It was tricky the first couple of days. But those moments of discomfort were so worth it as I was creating these new habits and repairing my relationship with food. The two months I was able to participate in My Body Tutor were knowledgeable, caring and sustainable. I didn’t expect this change to happen. Now I have this healthy relationship with food, movement and gratitude over the unhealthy relationship to food I had before. Thank you Adam and Sena, and everyone who makes My Body Tutor possible to change people's lives.🩷

I've really enjoyed the program so far. I like the mindful approach and how my coach customizes her recommendations based on me. In another program, I felt like I was being recommended the exact thing every other woman my age was. Not now. I also like the daily support / feedback. I highly recommend MyBodyTutor!

I would highly recommend MyBodyTutor. Adam and his coaches are dedicated to helping people achieve true lasting dietary behavior change. This is not about powering through a fad diet that will fail in 3 months. This is about working diligently over time with a coach to learn new dietary habits that will endure and allow you to eat in a way that you know is healthy and is in accord with what you want for yourself.

I highly recommend MyBodyTutor! I can confidently say I haven't had a single “slip up” since I started. That’s not to say I haven’t had a glass of wine or a treat, but every choice has been calculated and intentional as opposed to mindless eating. I’m excited to keep going.

I have tried nutritionists, Overeaters Anonymous, Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, and numerous other diet plans, but everything was temporary. I'd feel deprived and starved and go off the diet, revert to my old habits, and gain back all the weight and more. What was missing was something that I could do long-term, for the rest of my life, and feel good about. I used to hate the word “diet" as well as the concept, but now I enjoy eating healthy. I feared whether I would wake up in the morning. I suffered from sleep apnea, pre-diabetes, and high cholesterol. I struggled with late-night eating. I could control my eating during the day, but at night I lost all control. I'd come home from work exhausted, stuff my feelings, and reward myself with food and drinks to ease my stress and relax. Except that overeating and weight gain led to more stress. I was looking on the internet for a program that provided accountability and working one-on-one with a coach because I felt that I could not do it on my own, and I came across MyBodyTutor. I was impressed with the reviews I read. I felt that the daily reporting would keep me on track. With a history of repeated failures and the feeling that being post menopausal my metabolism would make weight loss extremely difficult. I did not think that I could do it. But I hoped that I could set a goal that was possible for me to attain and would not seem overwhelming. I wanted to stop feeling ashamed of how I looked. Since joining, I have lost 21 pounds. My hopes were met because I have not been able to reach this weight in 20 years. It's important that I keep the weight off for health reasons, which I feel I can do with the new habits I have learned from my coach. I feel healthier and more confident. I fit into clothes I have not been able to wear in ages, and I no longer want to hide. I want to embrace going out and having fun. There is no specific diet to follow, therefore, I did not feel deprived. There was no going on or off the diet or the concept of cheating. While some meals were not perfect, I tried to account for that. If I was going to be eating out at night, I ate lighter during the day. I tried to eat healthy and exercise moderately, so it never felt difficult or very time-consuming. I am happy to break the cycle of anesthetizing myself with food, which only led to depression. I feel so much better and have more energy. My coach was very supportive but also held me accountable. I had to log my food every day and move. Writing what I'd accomplish the next day kept me motivated to walk more and exercise, and watching the videos or reading what Adam wrote resonated with me. I will miss working with my coach, who was wonderful, but I feel confident that I have mastered this way of eating for life. A.T.
