Adam and the whole team at MyBodyTutor have been fantastic since I first engaged with them. Adam introduce me to their methodology and helped to reassure me this was a service I would benefit from. After joining, my coach has helped me reflect on and see the opportunities in my day to day habits that make all the difference. I'm making small changes (additions and subtractions) each day to build my healthy life in a sustainable and meaningful way. This has helped me break through a plateau I've been stuck on for a year. The accountability and feedback ensure that someone other than my refrigerator is keeping up with what I'm doing each day. I know I'm on the journey for a healthy rest of my life. It's never about perfection, but finding the opportunities every day in fitness, food, and mental strategies to move forward.

Before joining MyBodyTutor I was unsure if it was possible for me to achieve sustainable weight loss. While I certainly don't take this for granted now, I am much more optimistic about achieving a significant weight loss and maintaining the weight. Also, while I have run half marathons many times before, doing it again has seemed quite far away the last couple of years. Now I believe it can be done. Thank you to MyBodyTutor!

Permanently altering your relationship with food and cultivating an understanding of the “why” and “how” weight loss occurs is THE only way to sustainably lose weight. My Body Tutor delivers on its promise of weight loss by providing a unique combination of one on one accountability and outstanding coaching. In a very few months I made real progress in establishing sustainable eating habits I’m happy with. I’m so pleased to say the responsiveness, quality of coaching and philosophy is truly outstanding. I highly recommend My Body Tutor!

I'm excited that I'm able to move easier. I’m also understanding food better--eating “clean” can be good and satisfying. Thank you for developing MyBodyTutor and helping those of us who need it! J.E.

Before MyBodyTutor, I ate one meal a day for three years and lost 50 pounds, but I didn’t have a sustainable path forward to eat regularly throughout the day and gain muscle. Now I have both. Also, I felt like I'd lose control of my eating if I got off of one meal a day. Once I knew I could do that, I wasn't sure what I should or shouldn't eat and didn’t have a plan. I found out about MyBodyTutor through Sam Parr, and I joined hoping to gain muscle and lose fat. I was a bit hesitant because I had to be sure I would follow through on the advice from my body tutor before signing up, but I’m so glad I did. Since joining, I’ve burned 10 lbs of fat and gained 5 lbs of muscle. More importantly, I have a sustainable path and feel super confident in my body moving forward. What's great about MyBodyTutor is it felt super personal to my goals and needs. So if you're thinking about joining, just jump in and trust the process! I’ve referred several friends and my mom, and they’re all loving it too.

My Body Tutor was helpful in my efforts to better understand my relationship with food as well as the impact of my daily habits on my health goals. My coach, Kristin, was very knowledgeable and incredibly supportive. She offered excellent suggestions and was always just one phone call or text message away. I recommend My Body Tutor!

I highly recommend MyBodyTutor. I love that someone is in my corner and cares about my progress. Having an expert sounding board for insights and challenges has made all the difference. My coach Chauncey has earned my trust and I’m enjoying the process. I also really like the emails, inspirations, and motivational quotes every time I submit my report.

Before I started working with MyBodyTutor, I struggled with binge eating, and my blood work wasn’t good. I was borderline diabetic, my cholesterol was high enough to be close to needing medication, and my liver was throwing off enzymes. I always felt restricted when I tried to get fit in the past, and I worried that I’d just be spending money on another program that didn’t work. But I hoped MyBodyTutor could help me get back to my pre-COVID weight and improve my health. My family has a history of heart disease, and I wanted to lower my risk. Now, I’ve lost about 25 pounds, and my blood work is perfectly normal. My doctor told me my weight is perfect. I no longer worry about gaining weight or being unhealthy, and I’ve established a regular exercise routine that has reduced the pain I used to be in. What makes MyBodyTutor different is the individual coaching—it’s very personalized. It’s not a program that simply tells you what’s good and bad. They support you through guidelines that helped me stay aware of my emotions and how they connected to my eating habits. Having a supportive coach makes a huge difference in losing weight and making real lifestyle changes. This isn’t your typical coaching plan.

I decided to join MyBodytutor after finding myself at a loss with my weight creeping up and none of my efforts successful. Like many, I have a long history of dieting. I have tried all sorts of diets either too extreme, too expensive, or too restrictive. I have sometimes lost weight but regained it quickly after getting back to my eating habits. What I found with MyBodytutor was different: it was about changing habits for the long term. I had a coach talking to me every week, listening to my struggles, and “coaching” me into finding solutions. It is not a one size fits all diet. The daily accountability and feedback have probably been the most useful to me. Through 1:1 calls with my coach Cheryl, I was also able to make key adjustments: I changed my breakfast habits, considerably improved my lunches, and learned tips on how to navigate travel and restaurant eating. I lost 14 pounds in about 6 months thanks to these adjustments. It has felt manageable and reasonable all along which I find amazing. I have hit plateaus: Cheryl helped me make more small adjustments (I have never had issues with being consistent riding my bike several times a week, but I added strength training that I actually enjoy and worked on walking more - both made a difference). Finally, a big part of our discussions were focused on stress management and sleep: it is really a holistic program and I found that my coach was kind, non-judging, yet truly motivating.

I really appreciate the BodyTutor program. It has helped to lose weight and develop healthy habits which leads to a lifelong healthy lifestyle. I appreciate Adam's passion and the hard work he put into creating the MyBodyTutor coaching program. The daily accountability and feedback has been invaluable as a tool for building that consistency and confidence that I needed to be successful. I have rightsized the portions that I eat at every meal and improved my eating choices. I have increased my vegetable consumption as well. I started the program doing little to no exercise to now doing 15 minutes of strength training 3 times a week and 2 days of cardio or other activities. I am thankful to Adam and his team for the help I received.

I love the MyBodyTutor program and highly recommend it if you're looking for real, holistic change to your health and well-being. Over the past 12 weeks since I started with my tutor Amy, I've lost 12 pounds, but more importantly, my relationship with food has completely changed. I used to feel like food controlled me because I used it to deal with stress, in addition to other feelings. I now feel a sense of freedom that I haven't felt before. MyBodyTutor is not is a diet, and it's not a quick fix. What it is, is support and accountability to make long-term, sustainable change. You have to put in the work and do some introspection and make some hard changes, but you do so with the full support of your tutor (coach), and that's exactly why it works.

Joining MyBodyTutor was a great choice and came highly recommended from someone I admire. I can in turn really share my own recommendation of working with my personal tutor in all aspects of fitness, healthy eating, and overall, accountability. I loved my experience with my tutor/coach. She was amazing in every way! She was incredibly kind, supportive, and formative. I can't say enough great things about working with MyBodyTutor!

I have tried nearly every restrictive diet plan out there and have been stuck in the cycle of either being on a diet or eating with reckless abandon since I was a pre-teen. I honestly didn’t realize there was anything in between either "being on a diet" or not, and I didn’t know there was a way to live life without constantly thinking about food and my weight! What was missing was a balanced, reasonable approach that focused not just on "what" I was eating but on "why" I was eating, instead of just how much I was eating, and how I could lose weight in a way that didn’t make me miserable. Prior to MyBodyTutor, I had lost all concept of what reasonable, healthy, and satisfying eating looked like. I was stuck in a cycle of either super restrictive dieting that left me miserable and full of constant cravings, or eating “whatever I wanted”—which also left me feeling miserable because I felt like a failure for not having the “discipline” to lose enough weight to feel comfortable in my body. I had also largely given up on working out, even though I love running and HIIT workouts, because it felt like they weren’t leading to any weight loss. I was struggling with feeling uncomfortable in my own body and thinking that since my old methods of yo-yo dieting didn’t seem to be working anymore, I would never feel good about myself again. Between COVID quarantine and gaining a lot of weight during my pregnancy with my daughter—weight that didn’t come off after I gave birth—I was starting to feel desperate. The old yo-yo dieting tactics I had relied on in the past just didn’t seem to be working anymore. With a high-stress job and a toddler, I didn’t have the willpower to white-knuckle through the super low-calorie diets I had always used. I started searching for weight loss programs and came across MyBodyTutor, which intrigued me because it promised such a personalized approach. Before joining MyBodyTutor, I had thrown in the towel on dieting. I felt like I was never going to lose enough weight to feel comfortable in my body, so I decided to just eat whatever I wanted in the moment. I was worried that MyBodyTutor would put me on another restrictive plan that cut out all the foods I loved and that my tutor would chastise me for my love of sweets and carbs. I couldn’t have been farther from the truth! I hoped the daily accountability of MyBodyTutor would help me figure out where I was going wrong and how I could course-correct to get back to the lifestyle I wanted. I lost 15 pounds! Before joining, I had started seeing a nutritionist who suggested ways to balance my eating and actually increase my calories. I was skeptical. I had lost a few pounds, but my progress had stalled because I couldn’t let go of my all-or-nothing mindset—either being “on a diet” or eating “whatever I want.” My tutor helped me understand that filling up with a variety of nutrient-dense foods when I was actually hungry, instead of starving myself with low-calorie processed diet food and then overeating later, would help me feel better and reach my goals. MyBodyTutor also taught me how to be truly in tune with my hunger. I had no idea how much I was overeating by always cleaning my plate, instead of stopping when I felt reasonably and pleasantly full. I also didn’t realize how often I ate when I wasn’t physically hungry but was trying to fill an emotional need—like eating sweets or indulging in alcohol when I felt stressed or bored. I’ve also learned how to include indulgences in my life without guilt or weight gain. I’m a “foodie” and love everything from gourmet Michelin-star meals to a cheeseburger with beer or an ice cream cone. This program showed me how to incorporate foods I love into a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Truly, nothing is off-limits, which means I’m no longer stuck in a binge-and-restrict cycle. It’s been liberating and life-changing. The program also helped me rediscover my love for exercise because I’m no longer working out with weight loss as the goal. Instead, I do it because I love how it makes my body feel. I just ran my second half marathon and have started taking HIIT classes again. I feel stronger than ever, and now, exercise brings me joy rather than resentment. MyBodyTutor isn’t just a weight loss program—it’s a lifestyle adjustment program, with the added benefit of weight loss. Having a personal tutor who reviews your daily food log and offers real-time advice helped me make small tweaks and adjustments I didn’t even know I needed. I truly didn’t believe I could lose weight without counting calories and obsessing over every meal. But MyBodyTutor not only helped me reach my weight loss goals, it also gave me the tools to maintain balanced eating and exercise for the rest of my life. I encourage anyone who’s interested to set aside their hesitation and give it a try—you can always cancel if you don’t like it or feel it’s not helping. But I guarantee that once you sign up, you’ll be excited by the changes you see in yourself!

Before I started working with MyBodyTutor, I struggled with negative self-talk, not understanding how to build long-term healthy habits, and falling into all-or-nothing thinking when it came to fitness. In the past, I tried books and online articles, but there were too many opinions on what works and how to get healthy. It was so confusing. When I found out about MyBodyTutor, my hope was to find a long-term pattern of healthy eating habits, combined with fitness options that would work with our random schedule. Now, my hopes have been met. I feel strong and confident in my food choices, with no guilt around occasional indulgences. I’ve found fitness options that ebb and flow with the patterns of our work, which helps me stay consistent. I feel stronger, more positive, and more grounded. What makes MyBodyTutor different is their focus on small-step action plans and clarity, taking the time to establish sustainable life changes. This program is so helpful in establishing healthy habits that work for each individual. Even if you have the most random schedule filled with sporadic travel, MyBodyTutor’s one-on-one coaching can help you find the best solutions! I loved working with Chrystal—she has been a fantastic guide through this process.

It was great working with MyBodyTutor and my coach Heather. She is a great listener and very supportive and knowledgeable. She seemed to understand exactly what my issues are and always offered up great tips. I think MyBodyTutor is a great tool for folks who need support to get them on the right track. I don’t really need to lose weight, but before I signed up, I found myself on a path that was leading to weight gain and I was losing my confidence. A few months of coaching with MyBodyTutor helped me to figure out what habits were keeping me stuck and eventually turn things around. I got my confidence back and feel in control again. Weight loss is one thing, but losing the last 5 to 10 pounds or maintaining a weight loss is a different challenge. I think MyBodyTutor can be very helpful for folks in this category. I'm so grateful they do what they do!

I was very fortunate to grow up in an active family where physical fitness was seen as a positive, not a punishment. We made sure to get some type of daily movement in—walks, bike rides, etc.—and that carried into adulthood for me. Physical fitness has never been an issue; I might be one of those rare cases who truly loves working out and the way it makes me feel. I also enjoy researching and learning about fitness, having done HIIT, weightlifting, yoga, Pilates, running, biking, hiking—you name it—throughout most of my adult life. But a few years ago, a minor health issue cropped up, and I couldn’t work out as much or in the way I was used to. Before I knew it—maintaining my old eating habits but not my old fitness habits—I was 15 pounds heavier than I used to be. That meant I needed to focus on adjusting my diet, something I had never really had to pay attention to before. I tried everything: habit tracking, teaming up with a nutritionist, counting calories, tracking meals through various apps, meal prepping… the list goes on. Things would go great for a week or two, but then the newness of the challenge would wear off, and I’d fall back into my old habits. I wasn’t necessarily eating terribly (though I do have a pretty major sweet tooth), but I knew I wasn’t eating in a way that supported what my body needed. Before MyBodyTutor, I knew I didn’t have the kind of relationship with food that I wanted—I knew things could be better. I didn’t necessarily doubt myself, but there was so much food noise in my mind all the time. And some days, or for parts of some days, there still is. The difference now is that I have the tools to manage the chatter. Through MyBodyTutor, I’ve discovered so many things: that by simply adjusting my eating volume, I could make my stomach and self feel so much better. That by slowing down and being intentional, I could actually enjoy the food I made and feel ownership over my choices. And this has carried over into other areas of my life—taking time, slowing down, enjoying the moment. My story isn’t an extreme one—it’s about refining my knowledge and finding someone (my amazing coach) to reassure me and encourage me to do the work. She was the missing key for me. Of everything I’ve learned about fitness and nutrition over the years, my coach was the one who helped bring everything together and encouraged me to experiment with different approaches to find what worked for me. I first heard about MyBodyTutor when Adam’s series popped up on my YouTube feed. I didn’t have doubts or insecurities about signing up, but I did give myself a few weeks to think about it—only because I’m notorious for jumping into new things and then not necessarily following through. My hope before joining was to develop a better set of skills and tools to help manage my relationship with and feelings around food. Losing weight was a secondary goal. Now, I know exactly what I need to do to feel better about my food choices, and I understand that this is all within my control. Do I always do the right thing every single day? No. But I do the right thing consistently enough that I’m noticing shifts from old patterns of behavior to new ones. I’ve also lost 15 pounds and feel younger—more like my old self. MyBodyTutor is incredibly high-touch and high-feel—they truly, truly care. From the moment you sign up, they make sure you know you’re part of the MyBodyTutor family. The team wants you to feel right at home, to be paired with the right coach, and to have all lines of communication open at all times. They want to hear it all—the good and the bad—and this level of honesty and trust is how they can help you. If you’re in doubt about this program, don’t be. It’s one of the best approaches, executed by the best team. Everyone at MyBodyTutor wants to see you succeed! You have a team for life—they will always be there for you.

My downfall has never been a ton of junk food (not to say that doesn't appeal at times, ha). I'm a foodie. A bit obsessed with really good food. And up to this point I just couldn't fit this in my life and lose weight. I thought I was going to have to let this love go if I wanted to succeed. Well, MyBodyTutor has me fitting it in my life and it's just working. My mentality about it is so much better. I don't even see it as outside my diet. It just gives me great joy and I work my life around it, with it, not fighting it. I cannot tell you how happy I am with how things are going. That my coach can find a positive in any day, and I'm starting to think that way. Patting myself on the back for all my good choices. So aware of them. It is such a good feeling to make these healthy decisions because I want to versus I should. You can say that, but when you actually feel it, man that feels good. Well, I could talk forever but that is what I thought I would have to give up. Not only do I not have to give it up, I don't beat myself up when I do indulge, just thoroughly enjoy it and intentionally think about how to balance it. I can't recommend MyBodyTutor more. They are really good at what they do.

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for MyBodyTutor and MaryAnn, my health coach and mentor. From our very first session, she showed genuine understanding of my unique health journey. MaryAnn not only helped me set achievable goals but also equipped me with the tools and strategies I needed to reach them. She always considered not just my nutrition but also my mental and emotional wellbeing. I liked that she made me feel accountable without any judgement. With MaryAnn’s encouragement, I transformed my relationship with eating 90% of my meals out at restaurants to 80% of my meals being cooked mostly at home. Thank you MaryAnn, I have improved my relationship with food with your help. I highly recommend MyBodyTutor to anyone looking for a positive change in their health journey to be coached by MaryAnn!
