I have been with My Body Tutor, and my coach, Laurie, for the past two and half years. I have gained so much awareness into my struggles with eating in that time. It's less about information (although I also gained that) and more about being able to recognize my own thoughts and triggers. Day in and day out, Laurie has been there for me, even when I didn't really feel like being there. I started this program two months after the loss of my husband when I was at my highest weight. During this time, I have lost about 20 pounds. That may not seem like a lot. But when you add grief to uncontrolled eating, it's very difficult. More important to me than the weight loss is the fact that I did not gain weight following his death. I was worried about that. It could very easily have happened, but it didn't because Laurie, gently (most of the time!) and carefully nurtured me through this difficult time.

I felt like food controlled me, and that resulted in my body not looking the way I wanted it to. I felt like I couldn’t do anything about it. I tried to lose this weight for the last 12 years or so and did self-defeating behavior each time I got partway to the goal. And the goal in my mind before was to be a certain weight instead of to eat more reasonably and healthy. I tried a number of the free calorie-counting apps and focused on trying to exercise it off, which for me is much easier than changing my eating habits. I found the counting calories to be tedious, and it’s nearly impossible for someone who works full time to exercise enough to lose more than a couple pounds. The real reason nothing worked for me in the long term, though, wasn’t the tools I used, but my mindset. I wasn’t fully committed to myself—the lure of delicious food at open houses, parties, events, new restaurants, and my love of baking won out. I’ve always understood the effectiveness of coaching in achieving great results, whether it’s at work, in sports, in music—in anything. I decided this year that I would change my self-defeating behavior, and I accepted that I was not getting the results I wanted by myself. I began a search for weight loss coaching programs, and this one appealed to me. In my mind, the goal was “to be 50 again!” To me that meant losing that “last 10 lbs,” and committing to a workout routine on a regular basis so I would look great—or at least as good as I used to. I had already lost 12 pounds maybe 7–8 years ago, but that wasn’t as hard because I had been overeating so very much. This “last 10” was the struggle for the last 6–7 years. My goal wasn’t to be thin or look like a model, but to be a normal, not chubby weight and look the way I picture myself—in this case, when I was 50. And I wanted to find a way of eating that was sustainable for me. By the time I signed up, I was sure I wanted to do it. I altered my goal a little to learn to eat in a healthier way that would be my new eating habits forever, not a diet to lose weight. I’ve lost 12.5 pounds since I started the program. I met my goal of the “last 10,” and my friends and family have all noticed. One of my former neighbors who I hadn’t seen in a year told me I was aging younger! I feel like I’m truly eating like a healthy, slender person who is not dieting but maintaining a sustainable eating program. My food portions and choices are much more appropriate. The 5-point hunger scale has been very helpful to prevent me from overeating. Because I’m following the new eating habits, I have continued to slowly lose a couple more pounds, though that wasn’t the goal. I just feel better and healthier eating less and eating a more balanced diet. I control what I eat—food no longer controls me. The daily online personal coaching and accountability, plus emails make all the difference. The coach gives you guidance, cheers you when you’ve eaten and exercised according to plan, and helps you deal with the occasional over-indulgences that are just part of the process. I still ask myself, “What would my coach say” about eating this or that. The 5-point fullness scale is very helpful. The tip to be realistic about the occasional indulgence is great, too. I think the fitness part of the app is very good, as it asks you what you will do tomorrow—it encourages you to have a plan and commit to it. I would say to someone thinking about joining that having a daily coach and fully using the app will make all the difference. The best musicians and athletes in the world have coaches. The academics who win awards for anything from spelling to physics have coaches. The right coach can help you be your best, too, so “go for it.”

I had been trying for more than two years to lose the pounds that I had put on since my big weight loss several years ago. I had maintained that loss for years, but stress and bad habits finally got to me, and I put on almost 15 pounds. I tried lots of things to get rid of it, but nothing worked. I had used Weight Watchers with some success and lost almost 45 pounds. That was the first program that ever really worked for me, as I had struggled with yo-yo dieting most of my life. And I did maintain just about all of this loss for years, until about 3 years ago when a number of factors started the slow, insidious creep of weight gain. So why didn't I just go back to it when the weight came back on? The truth is that I did try it again a couple of times and found that it no longer worked for me. I increasingly found it to be too restrictive if I followed it as it was intended. MyBodyTutor allows you to eat closer to the way that is satisfying but still lose weight through small consistent changes.) I wanted to lose at least 10 of the 15 pounds I had gained. And, as a coach myself, I felt that coaching and accountability could be the answer for me. I found MyBodyTutor through a random Google search, but didn’t join at first. I interviewed several coaches who weren’t the right fit for one reason or another, and I kept coming back to MyBodyTutor. Of course, I had some hesitations before starting. There was the money, and the fear of failing once again. But since starting, I’ve lost 12–13 pounds. It’s been fluctuating a little bit lately, but overall I feel good about the progress. What really made the difference for me was the daily logging with pictures and the daily feedback from a coach. If someone’s thinking about joining, I’d tell them: it is worth it! Make sure that you are comfortable with the coach they give you, as that really matters. I lucked out and got a coach that really got me. I think Adam is really good at studying the info you submit at the beginning and finding a good match. Also, don’t give up if it takes a while to see the weight coming down. One of the really good things about MyBodyTutor is that you don’t count calories or macros—you just make small, measurable changes. This makes it possible to persist with the program over time. You don’t have to feel deprived.

Adam hooked me up with Brett who quickly helped me get my nutrition and training dialed in. Was able to cut down to about 11% body fat and feel better than I ever did in the gym. Took a shot in the dark with my body tutor, and I have no regrets.

Thank you for building a program that's the real deal. I'm most excited about the fact that this feels really good. The weight loss is great (but I've done that before), the difference is I'm not hating the process or fighting myself every day. This approach feels aligned and in tune with my needs (both mind and body). I've never felt so confident in myself and my ability to sustain y new habits and progress. I highly recommend MyBodyTutor!

MyBodyTutor has been a pleasure to be a part of. I’ve spent over the last two years working with a coach, and it has transformed nearly every aspect of my health. From the very first questionnaire and call, I could tell how much thought was put into the program. You realize how health is a lot more than just tracking calories, it’s a full reflection into why you behave the way you behave. Through the program and coaching, I’ve been able to significantly improve my mindfulness regarding nutrition, consistently sticking to a daily movement routine, as well as improving both my sleep quality and quantity. In addition to that, it has improved my confidence - in indulging without guilt, in modifying workouts, in the occasional night out, etc. Overall, the accountability and structure of the whole program have proven to be one of the greatest investments I’ve made into my health.

I have always been a very physical person who enjoys moving my body. I grew up with an unhealthy relationship with food though. My goal with this program was to have more defined abs from all of the work I was putting in at the gym. Though I worked out in the gym 5+ days a week, I could not see my abs. Turns out the saying, “abs are made in the kitchen” is true. I started the program back in July of 2021, and by November I had reached my goal of chiseled abs. As the years went by though, I fell into some old habits of emotional eating and wasn’t as happy with my relationship with food. I also had a bad relationship with the scale, weighing myself nearly everyday and allowing it to control my mood (and what felt like my life!). By April of 2024 I decided I needed to do more work and re-joined. I did the program for one more year. No weighing, just monthly measurements. This change helped me immensely as I was able to pay more attention to my efforts and the way I was feeling, than a number on the scale. I solidified my habit of bouncing back to great eating if I had a slip up: identifying and reflecting on the trigger that had sent me into eating more than was comfortable, and how to handle being out of my routine when traveling, etc. I even learned to handle balancing food and exercise with chronic injuries. Through this program I learned about the details: emotional vs physical hunger, satiety, timing, supplements, the importance of protein, the danger of overdoing supplements and protein, and finally the importance of blood work to check in on how things are going from that standpoint. I am a changed person from this program. I feel self-assured and calm about food and in my body in a way I never have before in my life. I am forever grateful to Heather and Adam! Best investment in me I have ever made!

I started MyBodyTutor in 2/2025 at ~120 lbs. Four months later, I am now down to 115.7 lbs, having lost ~4% body fat, and gained ~2 lbs of muscle. While those numbers may seem small, it is significant on a petite 5'0" body. I have really appreciated Kirklin's guidance during this body recomposition journey. She was knowledgeable, positive, and empathetic. I would not have made this progress without her support and I will continue to implement the lessons she taught me moving forward. It is so helpful to have accountability and I highly recommend MyBodyTutor to fill that missing piece in everyone's fat loss journey.

BodyTutor was a fantastic solution for me given my business travel schedule. The level of accountability the program delivers helped me lose the last few pounds I was struggling with. Nothing else worked for me and I felt like I had tried almost every option out there. I'm really glad I discovered this service and highly recommend it - especially for busy executives.

Before MyBodyTutor, I would try to eat healthy, but when faced with unhealthy choices, I would find myself overeating. I was an emotional eater—I would eat when I was happy, sad, excited, stressed, bored, needed comfort, or just mindlessly. I had no consistency in my eating habits. As I got older, the weight just seemed to come on faster. I tried several programs, but would lose the weight and fall into old habits and regain it all. These programs were one-size-fits-all or relied on boxed foods, which was unsustainable. I was in a constant loop of yo-yo dieting. I’ve tried every new “program” out there. I would have temporary success, but the weight always found its way back. I’ve tried packaged meals, calorie restrictions, supplements, or restricting certain food categories. All of these were missing key elements—they weren’t feasible long term for my busy life. I didn’t have the personal feedback and accountability I needed. They weren’t personalized for me, and didn’t address my mindset or my long-term habits. I was so sick and tired of not being able to get my weight under control. I was desperately searching online for a program that would give me long-term success. I was literally thinking to myself, “They have life coaches, why don’t they have one-on-one weight loss coaches?” So I started googling weight loss coaching and found MyBodyTutor. The more I read on the website, the more I was convinced that MyBodyTutor was just what I needed. I am the type of person to take care of others before myself. I realized I needed to take this time to put my health as a priority and get my weight issues under control permanently. I hoped to make a lifestyle change that would allow me to enjoy eating healthy foods, exercise in ways that make my body and mind happy, and would help ensure I have many active years to spend with my husband, kids, and grandkids. I kept thinking that if I had enough grit and willpower, I could (and should) be able to do it on my own. I felt like I should be smart enough and have gained enough knowledge on diet and exercise over the years to just “do it.” I didn’t want to try yet another program and have to tell my family and myself that I failed again. But what I didn’t realize is how much I needed MyBodyTutor’s daily accountability, coaching, encouragement, and help to put an end to my emotional eating. I could not be happier with the success I have found with MyBodyTutor. My goal was to lose 25 pounds, but I’ve actually lost close to 35! I haven’t seen numbers like these on the scales in over 15 years! But I’m almost more excited about all the non-scale victories. I conquered emotional eating. My health and blood work numbers have improved substantially. I crave my daily exercise—it clears my mind, revitalizes me, and reduces my stress. I eat mindfully, and I don’t feel deprived. I have built healthy habits and consistency. I have made lifestyle changes that I can totally live with and carry forward. I have more energy and feel so much better overall. I love that MyBodyTutor is personalized for you! It takes into account your food likes/dislikes-a unique food plan just for you. Your coach is chosen specifically with your needs in mind. No other company does that. MyBodyTutor focuses on mindfulness, habits, reflection, and self-awareness. Their daily coaching, guidance, support, and accountability are key. MyBodyTutor is there every day, every step of the way. I would like to thank you, Adam, for building a company that can literally change people’s lives. Your dedication and belief in what can be accomplished are front and center. MyBodyTutor has been a game changer for me. My coach, Laurie, could not have been anymore perfect—she was an absolute match for me! I would encourage anyone to take that leap of faith and join. Make your health and yourself a priority. Jump in and trust the process. I’m so glad I invested in myself and made the decision to give MyBodyTutor a try. I’m so thankful I did. My only regret is that I didn’t find them sooner. You can not beat the support and personalization that you will get with MyBodyTutor.

When I signed up with My Body Tutor, I was looking for accountability and a way to lose weight without counting calories and feeling restricted — and that’s exactly what I got. My coach’s approach struck the perfect balance between a healthy relationship with food and a firm commitment to my goals. We weren’t here to mess around, and I loved that philosophy from the start. Throughout the journey, my coach was compassionate and understanding, but always pushed me to do better. I learnt to eat more consistently, became a better cook, and developed a clear understanding of which foods keep me fuller and give me energy to get through my day. I never missed out on any social events and even went on holidays, all with the support of my coach. I also made other lasting lifestyle changes, like getting back into the gym. Now working out is a regular part of my routine that I actually look forward to. Externally, I’ve started to receive comments from people saying they’ve noticed my weight loss. But more importantly, internally, I feel so much more confident in my body. I recently went bikini shopping for the first time in years and it was a positive experience. I’m wedding dress shopping currently, and I am genuinely liking the way I look in the dresses I try on. It wasn’t easy, but losing weight honestly hasn’t been as hard as I thought it would be, thanks to the support and guidance I received. I truly believe that what I’ve learnt on this journey is sustainable and has prepared me for a healthy and fit future. I’m so glad I took the leap and joined My Body Tutor!

Before I started working with MyBodyTutor, I felt unhealthy—physically and mentally. I had to shop at big & tall stores, wore oversized clothes, and avoided being in pictures. Going into the office or meeting clients made me feel self-conscious. One of my biggest fears was that I’d end up with serious health issues. Deep down, I felt like I might never get control over it—and I’d just have to accept this was who I was now. I’d done Weight Watchers a few times. It worked at first, but eventually, I’d just stop using the app and the motivation would fade. What was missing was someone actually on the other side—checking in, helping me stay consistent, and teaching me how to do this in a sustainable way. I was doing a lot of online research for something long-term. I didn’t want just another diet—I wanted a lifestyle change I could actually stick with forever. I’d lost weight before, but always gained it back. Right before I started with MyBodyTutor, I was really struggling to even get going because I had zero accountability. That’s when I realized I needed something (or someone) to help keep me on track. I didn’t really have a specific goal weight in mind. I just wanted something that would finally help me change my habits and get me out of the cycle I was stuck in. I wanted a plan that would last. Honestly, I was nervous about opening up to a coach and being real about my habits. I wasn’t sure how personalized it would be—like, would it just be another “eat this, not that” program? I didn’t want another cookie-cutter diet filled with “diet foods.” I ended up losing almost 100 pounds. I had hoped for around 90, so that was incredible. But even more than the weight loss, the biggest win for me was discovering running. I went from doing zero exercise to now running regularly for over two years. I’ve even done half-marathons. Running has become a huge part of how I manage stress and stay grounded. What makes MyBodyTutor stand out is that it’s not about some big, overwhelming change. It’s about small, consistent tweaks that build over time. My coach really took the time to understand my habits and routines, and we made gradual changes that felt doable. That’s what makes it stick. This isn’t a diet—it’s a forever plan. If you’ve struggled to stay on track or to maintain weight loss, MyBodyTutor can really help. Having a coach in your corner makes a huge difference. There were plenty of weeks I felt like I messed up or wasn’t doing enough, but my coach always helped me stay level and not beat myself up. One moment that really stuck with me: early on, I told my coach it was hard to find time to exercise because I had to watch our 1-year-old in the mornings. My coach simply said, “Take him with you.” So I did. We started going for walks, then faster walks, and eventually I started running. That one little comment led to something that’s now a big part of my life. That’s what MyBodyTutor is about—little things that turn into big changes. I’m so grateful I found it. It really has changed my life.

Body Tutor is so beneficial, particularly when it comes to figuring out the “why” behind certain health choices I was making. My awesome coach helped me work through the emotions that were triggering my sugar binges and helped me develop strategies to accomplish my goal of a healthier lifestyle. I feel like this is the first program I’ve ever participated in that helped me develop life long behaviors for success. The weight loss that came with those behaviors has been a bonus! Highly recommend this program for anyone looking to make sustainable changes to benefit their health.

Where do I start? I have learned so much from Body Tutor about how to be healthy. I love how they find out how you eat and what you like to drink, then they work around those things that are your must haves. As you follow that personalized plan they create for you, the weight just falls off so naturally. I also love that movement is a big part of the journey. I started walking and that motion became lotion. I can now walk an amazing number of steps every day and I don’t miss my goal! I love it and I will never stop moving forward. Thank you to my tutor Abby for all her ideas, accountability, and encouragement along the way. Thanks! ~Byron

Before starting with MyBodyTutor, I was feeling stuck. I had a decent understanding of nutrition and fitness, but I struggled to translate that into consistency. I’d cycle between bursts of motivation and long stretches of falling off track. I’d tried intermittent fasting, working with a personal trainer, and white-knuckling my way through with willpower—but nothing seemed to help me truly integrate healthy habits into my everyday life. I was frustrated and beginning to doubt whether real change was even possible for me. I found MyBodyTutor while searching for a more structured approach—not just to reshape my body, but to address the deeper psychological patterns that were keeping me stuck. The daily accountability model caught my attention, and something about the program felt grounded and practical. I'm so glad I gave it a try. The program has helped me make lasting, meaningful changes in my relationship with food and fitness. My weight dropped from the upper-180s to 165, but more than that, I feel more in tune with myself. I have a greater sense of calm and control around food, and my choices feel increasingly aligned with the kind of life I want to lead. I’ve lost fat, built muscle, and have more energy in my day-to-day life than ever before. A special thank-you to Amy, who was skilful, intuitive, and flexible in how she worked with me. Her approach felt genuinely tailored to my personality and mindset—which made all the difference. Amy struck a rare balance: she was encouraging and empathetic, yet also honest and precise. She knew when to challenge me and when to hold space. I never felt like just another check-in. I felt seen, understood, and supported in a way that extended far beyond food and exercise. If you’re on the fence about joining, I’d say this: MyBodyTutor isn’t just another plan to follow. It’s a thoughtful, human process that helps you live more intentionally—and it might just be the best decision you make for yourself.

I highly recommend MyBodyTutor! For the first time in my life, I bought ice cream on my partner's request, and didn't have any. It sat in my freezer for 3 days while my partner had ice cream, and it wasn't the biggest struggle - each day, it was just a calculation and a choice where I opted for other things instead. ALSO for the first time in my life, there is a pack of Albanese gummy bears sitting in my fridge that a friend gifted me on my birthday, and I've had a single serving so far, but opted for other items instead on the other days. I'll enjoy it in due time, but previously, the whole bag would be devoured within the hour! My relationship with food has completely changed.
