I have no idea where my earrings are that I just custom ordered. They were suppose to arrive on 1/25 and they didn’t, so I called Ritani and the representative that I spoke with stated she would call me back never called back. No idea where my $800 earring are 1/27. So much for overnight. Fed ex keeps pushing the date out. Def declining charges on my card.

Asking me to write a review before I even received by order was to be delivered Friday 9-1pm and still nothing days later. I have emailed with. I response.

We received our stone and thought it looked very glassy and felt weird. Ritani had told us they had to secure this from one of their partners in India. Before this, we had seen hundreds of diamonds in person in our search. Because of our suspicion, we took it to a diamond store, where they put it through their lab grown testing machine and it showed up as green color, or Cubic Zerconium (CZ). When compared to a lab grown diamond at the shop, that diamond was yellow color in the machine, indicating a fully lab grown diamond. We will be returning this and filing a complaint.

We understand your concern however we can guarantee that the diamond that you purchased from our website was in fact a genuine lab grown diamond. All of our lab diamonds are tested when they are received at our facility, ship with a certificate from either IGI or GIA, and will have the certificate number inscribed on the girdle. Lab grown diamonds should test as a diamond when using a diamond tester, however, because lab diamonds are grown using different methods than natural diamonds, it is possible for some lab diamonds (especially HPHT grown lab diamonds) to test as a Moissanite or CZ using certain testers. No box and the ring box was just wrapped in plastic wrap in a FedEx box. Ring is scratched.

Their website does not work. I wasn't able to log in to view my account or my order. Once I received my item I have been trying to get ahold of customer service to return my item and they will not contact me back.

I received the wrong replacement necklace. Ritani lost my necklace I sent in for repair, it was mailed back to an incorrect address despite me confirming the correct address three times. I am still working with the PO to try to locate the repaired necklace. Fingers crossed.

No communication throughout the process. Does not provide shipping info. Just expects you to sit at home and wait all day so you can sign for the package. Says they do not provide tracking because of insurance purposes. Whatever that means.

Let’s start by saying that on April 4 I purchased an engagement ring a V halo with a cushion diamond carat 1.33. I made the payment through a bank wire right away and then I emailed Ritani care to see if they could make an engraving and also wanted hypoallergenic treatment. No one ever responded to my email. 10 days passed and I didn’t know what was going on. I finally was able (I’m in Italy) to chat with a manager online who apologized still didn’t explain why I had been ignored. They offered a 10% refund (which is usually the discount you find on Ritani’s diamonds anyway, but it wasn’t available when I purchased my ring). Finally I received the ring on April 15. And again it was disappointment. From the package that was loose inside the box, the poor quality of the ring holder (hard paper very easy to get dust on) and finally the ring. It looks minuscule. The ring itself I’m not complaining about the stone. The engraving is literally invisible even with a magnifying lens. The ring is as thin as a thread of cotton (did not look like that on Ritani’s website images) and in general it looks less attractive than you would expect for more than 5 grand.

My first order was magically cancelled. My second order was delayed twice due “quality” issues. I will never again consider using Ritani.

delay after delay. I had my order in a month ago and I am still waiting to pick it up. Customer support told me saying they will coordinate about pick up for my merchandise via email and I have waited for a week and have yet to receive any single email about the pick up. I have NOT yet receive my merchandise after placing my order 1 month ago with no pick up appointment.

Ritani came highly recommended to me through a family member that bought a diamond for his engagement ring. I was impressed with the Ritani website which was easy to navigate, provided helpful resources, and was well designed (I work in IT and appreciate these things). However this is where the positive experiences stopped. The first diamond and ring I ordered was out of stock. I only found this out after about a week of hearing nothing. The customer service representative did provide alternatives, I picked one and they said it would ship out in a couple of days. 2 weeks went by and I heard nothing so I called Ritani again. The customer service representative looked into my account (I had wired the money by bank transfer a day after i ordered) and said "sorry but the replacement diamond you picked was coming from an international partner and we don't have a tracking number so we don't know it will arrive. you'd better pick another one". This was frustrating to say the least because at this point it had been 3 weeks since the initial order. I frustratingly told them to send me replacement options which the customer service representative did the next day. They promised this 3rd diamond was in stock and they could ship it out soon. They said it would come on Wednesday and it did, because they promised to ship it out with overnight shipping. In summary, while the selection process was painless and pleasant, the follow up was anything but. The fact that I had to chase my purchase is unacceptable. Only when I called did the process move forward. I was 1 day away from canceling my order and asking for my money back. This is why I will never recommend your company again.

Was promised an order by Christmas (a gift for my wife), then never got it. Was shipped an alternative (inferior) product instead even though I said no. Bait and switch? Now I have to ship that one back.

My order was supposed to ship on 12/21 with arrival on 12/22. I called a couple days ahead of days ahead to verify and was told yes all was good. My order in fact did not ship. Multiple calls and emails and I couldn't get a straight answer. My last call on 12/22 I was told by your CS person that she would get back to via email with an update but this never happened. I finally received an email on 12/23 that it would ship out that day. This was extremely stressful as it was obviously a Christmas gift and is why I ordered in what I thought was plenty of time. Especially since I kept receiving promotional emails right up until 12/23 stating there was still time to order and receive by Christmas. I still need settings for the two diamonds but am considering purchasing them elsewhere due to my experience. Lastly, when I received the delivery and opened the box the large diamond had fallen out of the plastic container and was loose inside the box. Dave Reynolds
