The diamonds and design are above stellar! Actually getting it made correctly (custom order) and shipped in a timely manner was sub par. Customer service was on point initially then lost contact. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I’m still trying to get resolutions. Another thing that was shocking, besides all of the errors with my order, was because of the high price point, my order came with free earrings that were valued at $450. These earrings were tossed loose into the bottom of my shipping box. No presentation box. Nothing. Like it was an after thought and literally tossed in before shipping. Oh and I had to call to get the appropriate paperwork to have my pieces insured. When you spend $12k+ … none of this should happen. A general sorry was what I got via email and it’s still not made right. It’s ridiculous. This kind of error should have been handled with a phone call not a series of emails.

The quality of the diamond earrings for the price was excellent. However, the free appraisal was disappointing. It was incorrect and according to the customer support autogenerated. When they attempted to correct it, they just removed the incorrect carat weight and explained that the quotes were autogenerated and not created by a gemologist as advertised. This is very misleading and disappointing. However, the earrings themselves did match as advertised.

Unfortunately I’ve had two bad experiences with Ritani diamonds. The first time I made a purchase for a relatively large heart diamond and it wasn’t until the date of delivery that I was informed they could not locate it and I had to select another. The second time I purchased two 30. Round diamonds. It wasn’t until the expected delivery date that I checked the tracking and was informed it would not arrive till a week later. I myself am a jeweler and it’s unfortunate to get a date of delivery and not be updated along the way of any change in status. It’s frustrating that both times had to reach out myself and be met with disappointing news. The second time they gave me options of other diamonds to select but I ended up waiting for the match that I originally selected. The customer service representatives were polite it’s just a strange process that both times I was suggested to pick different diamonds one of which couldn’t be found and the others could not be shipped on time. On the other side of it I was satisfied with the diamonds themselves I selected. Good prices for certified diamonds.

The diamond was great, I would give a 5 star if it's not for the shipping. If you can improve or change the partner with the international shipping that will be great truly hate the delivery service with this ring. I understand that you guys used. Third party company for international shipping and they ended up hand it over to DHL. DHL left the $7000CAD worth of ring on the front step without asking for signature. Luckily we are work from home, and when I rushed out to stop them from leaving and said I want to check the item is in there, the guys says"not my problem" and left anyway

I picked out a set of diamond earrings. I was emailed that my order was ready after 3 days and was awaiting shipment. After another week, I had not recieved my order or an email that they were mailed. I called and was told they'd "look into it" and email me later. The next day I called again. They stated that they had sold one of the diamonds and they were trying to find a new one to match. After another day they contacted me and found a .97 CT diamond, but I had originally ordered two 1 CT diamonds. It was for my wife's birthday and they said they'd overnight what they had and we could exchange it later so she'd at least have a gift in time. Unfortunately the item didn't make it in time. The length of time in between my order date and today (I still don't have the earrings and her birthday was yesterday) had been way too long. Almost 3 weeks. The representative was trying to help, but the account if time they wasted before I was able to call in was just too much. I am not likely to buy more diamonds from ritani.

Good so far… ordered 3 one carat round diamond pendants on behalf of my father, for his 3 daughters. They are lovely but the clasp on one has broken already… And not sure how to reach customer service…

I am not happy with the band I decided on. I feel it is slightly misrepresented in the pictures. The pictures make it appear wider than it truly is. I will be returning the ring and hopefully finding something new. Had to completely redo the timing of asking the big question.

Customer service was bad but the ring is beautiful and the prices are definitely lower than mnay other online diamond and lab diamond vendors.

Wonderfull selections, customer service could have been better, was told my diamond was not available but then after a week of waiting for a new selection from the sales rep. the order shipped and arrived as ordered originally, very confusing

I have been a loyal Ritani customer for over 7 years , however this last order left me feeling less than impressed. I asked for a custom tennis bracelet to be created for me using 27 x .70 ctw diamonds . This was a very difficult order to work out with a Ritani representative. I didn’t feel like I was being listened to , or respected as a repeat customer . I also did not like the fact that they wanted to ship the 27 diamonds to me first , then have me ship them back to make the bracelet which obviously logistically did not work for me . Also, when 2 of the 14 diamonds I ordered were unavailable, I received 15 confusing back and forth emails trying to sort it out . A phone call would have been much better .

Well I haven’t heard back from my last email in regards to having our ring re made. We emailed a few times with no response back as of yet. We were not happy with the ring we just purchased.

Initial order came back as unavailable. Replacement diamond had estimated Fri 6/4 delivery but has not shipped yet due to production QC issue. Execution aside, Sylvia M did a great job communicating and provided warm service

The process to buy was very easy. Fast delivery and everything went right. Just make sure you abide by their 30 day returns policy, when you go over that time they have a buy back program where you get charged about 25% for restocking fees. That's still not the problem as they disclose that when you reach out to find a way to return the item. What drives me nuts is that according to them they evaluate the ring when it comes in.... here is where I get very displeased. Eventhough the ring never left the box it came in, the person who inspected the ring said it had two indentations. And again the ring never left the original box. So this must be a way for the company to get more money out of the customer ( which is specially bad when you are returning an engagement ring due to sad situations... it feels like they kick you when you are down). If the ring had indentations it came that way.... but whatever. In the end they took another 10% off the setting price.

Here are the goods - 1. Price is competitive 2. Delivery was on time, as listed on the website. 3. Item was as expected and looked pretty nice. 4. They were able to review my choices with me on the phone. Gave me correct feedback and helped me make a choice. I felt the review was honest without pressure to purchase something. 5. No nonsense type purchase experience. Here are the NOT so goods - 1. Buying experience felt like buying from a wholesaler, but the prices are online retail prices. 2. Very little email communications, no thank you emails or calls. For buying something that pricy, I was hoping for a bit more handholding. They did not even email me when the jewelry was mailed out. 3. The shipping container was not good. The ring box came loose and was flopping around inside the box. Really did not help the unboxing experience.

Product, when I finally received it was fine; Getting to that point was the worst experience I’ve had buying jewelry; Customer Service is Non- Existent at Ritani; They don’t do as advertised, ever; They are real good at saying sorry, but that doesn’t get it; I would NOT recommend them, period; Life’s too short to put up with the terrible business ethics of Ritani; Take your money and business elsewhere... you’ll save yourself from the grief dished out by these Clowns.

This is a difficult review to write. I am not someone who complains, I normally let my purchases do the talking. I recently upgraded my diamond that I had for several years. The credit back for the diamond is excellent (100%) and the credit back for the setting was fair. I did experience some "bumps" along the way as far as getting my order fulfilled. I was told on two occasions the diamond I selected was no longer available (once before the order was secured-totally expected and fair) and once after my order had been placed (very disappointing) . The person I worked with did finally secure my original stone, which made me happy. My ring arrived but not in the setting I expected. I followed up twice on the status of my order. One email was never answered, and once in the chat I was told that they would check on it but never got a response. I followed up again a day later, got a different associate and got an immediate detailed response. Overall the the ring is gorgeous, I am willing to accept it even though it is not the setting I selected in my correspondence. Follow up and being detail oriented from some associates could use some work , although they were always pleasant to speak with. I originally planned on upgrading for every "milestone" anniversary but this was so nerve-wracking it will likely be my first and last upgrade.
