While the ultimate end result was fine, this was an incredibly frustrating transaction with terrible communication with this company. Our first choice of gem (emerald) was not available, which we were not told until 2 weeks after we had ordered. Our 2nd choice was not properly priced and required back and forth with Customer Service to correct. I was then charged for the full amount on my credit card immediately....however, the ring did not ship for another 30 days. Caveat emptor.

Purchased a ring that was “in stock”. Said complete ring and diamond would be delivered to me in less than 10 days. That was the sole reason I bought from Ritani. Only after I email and ask they say the diamond is in India, then it delayed. When I call I get multiple different answers and guarantees. I switch to a smaller “in stock” diamond and I’m promised delivery two days later. Call back again after there’s no tracking and was told that’s wrong but she’ll try to make it happen. She did and I appreciate that aspect of the experience. Ring shows up missing a whole side stone. It’s not in the box so was obviously shipped that way. Take it to a local jeweler as at this point I’ve been waiting almost two weeks past the original delivery date. Jeweler finds multiple loose or broken side prongs. At this point I pay him to repair my “brand new” ring. All I get from Ritani is a “you can return it”. I won’t be sending it back to them for warranty and won’t be making another purchase through them again

My ring arrived in the wrong setting which is incredibly disappointing. The setting was extremely uncomfortable and the stone was not symmetrical so it sat croaked in this setting.

It's a gorgeous diamond, basically D flawless, but I think I paid way too much. I got a .46ct stone for $250~ and I just found a .91ct of the same quality for $150. I could've spent $100 less and got a stone twice as big. I'm very unhappy.

Customer service was very good, but honestly I'm quite disappointed with the ring. I ordered an Ideal cut, F, VVS lab diamond in a platinum setting. The diamond doesn't have nearly the sparkle and fire I was expecting, and the engraving on the ring is off-centre.

Transaction was good EXCEPT for my free pair of diamond earrings which did not come with my ring and was then sent to the wrong address. ONLY with ALOT of effort and aggravation did I get this debacle resolved.

some feedback i would give is the lack of communication between the facility that has my ring and myself. They have not reached out nor have they responded to my requests for scheduling a pick up. It makes me a bit nervous to the point of wanting to report fraud if they do not reach out soon. i understand the 1700 USD i paid probably isnt a big deal to the company but peace of mind goes a long way and ive been given none.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had with Ritani. After coming back after buying 4 diamonds to buy a diamond for engagement, I have been trying to reach out to someone in the customer service department for assistance with a custom setting.

I would currently give Ritani a 2-star rating out of 5. I'm not a person who likes to complain. Even now, I'm only leaving this review on Ritani's internal survey and not on Google for everyone to see. That being said, I was informed that the initial diamond I tried to purchase was unavailable after I had sent full payment, and I am STILL WAITING to get my refund SEVEN WEEKS LATER. I think we can agree that this is an absurd and unacceptable amount of time to be waiting for the return of more than $10,000 that never should have been taken in the first place. There have been multiple email exchanges and phone conversations - the most recent of which assuring me that I would receive the refund by the end of last week at the latest - and still the money has not shown up. I realize that sometimes unexpected things happen, but I cannot imagine a circumstance that would justify the magnitude of this delay. The only reason I am not providing a 1-star rating is because I did end up finding and purchasing another diamond from Ritani, which I recently received, and I'm quite pleased with it. However, a quality product does not erase a major flaw in customer service. Please figure out how to prevent this from happening to any other customers. I think there are likely very few people who would be comfortable waiting more than a few days for the return of this much money, let alone waiting nearly two months.

The website is kind of mess. It’s very hard to find a particular product. The product that was sent did not meet up my expectation. It looks different on website than reality.

Initial charm necklace very tiny. Disappointed how the picture is so blown up to make the product seems larger than it actually is. I guess that’s the reason why the products are not modeled on people. Reluctant about purchasing anything else in the future.

Unfortunately, very poor communication. I felt like I had to chase people for information. The engagement ring was delayed several times and I understand that things happen, but be proactive, be professional don't make people wait and guess. By the time we considered other options/diamonds it was too late, again things that if had been handled earlier may have worked out differently. It delayed my engagement which is very frustrating as you want that moment to be special and you just spent a considerable amount of money to make it so. The ring it's self is beautiful and the people I dealt with were very nice just maybe undertrained or not capable of communicating proactively?

Remarkably little communication with this company. The product that I purchased was very expensive and I expected more customer interaction more engagement with this purchase. This is not, not a concierge buy here. I was left on my own far more than I anticipated.
