“I ordered a toddler table two seater. First of all it would not hold any toddler, the sits would not even hold a large baby doll. I wanted to return and was willing to purchase a table with bigger seats. I was told that wasn't an option. I was told to return it with a 20% restocking fee AND pay for the shipping to send back. I have been in business for 43 years and have never heard of a thing. They are misleading when they show bigger children in the table when advertizing on there website. Becareful when ordering from this company. I hated to do it but I have stopped payment to this company. I do not recommend ordering from this company...... School Outlet.”
“Company was not forthcoming with their delivery procedures and not willing to work with the school site. They provided misleading information. I ended up haveing to pay my custodians extra hours to finish set up and delivery to classrooms which was supposed to have been completed through the installation fee. 2 items from our order were defective and replacements were supposed to be sent. We have yet to receive them 3 weeks later.”
“Shipping costs are exorbitant, and both the original item and its replacement have arrived damaged beyond use.
For almost $300 in shipping costs to ship a rolling whiteboard (that I will have to assemble), this is completely unacceptable.
When I asked for a refund for the shipping costs, I was told they can’t issue “partial refunds”.
I am giving them a THIRD chance to make this right. If the item is damaged again, I will ask for a refund. Either way, I will not be ordering from them for my agency ever again.”
“Beware, once you make contact with this company, they will become excessively aggressive, flooding your inbox with daily messages. Even after I had completed my purchase I continue to receive emails, warning me that my quote was about to expire and I better hurry up and make my purchase. Super annoying and I will never shop with this company again”
“We received the wrong color of the desks we ordered.
We ordered navy blue and we received wine color.
Now we have to wait another month to receive them.”
“The shipment's arrival took an eternity. Initially, we were informed that the $1,100 shipping fee covered the delivery of cafeteria tables inside the building. However, upon arrival, the delivery team refused to provide that service, stating it required an additional $75 payment, despite our initial payment of $1,100. Their service fell short and left much to be desired.”
“My school's take on School Outlet unfortunately is not a great one. We ordered chairs in September and were never notified until we started reaching out that there would be a delay in shipping. Every time there was a new onboarding date it would get pushed another two or three weeks. Due to this the shipment date was delayed over two months. At this point, we had started to request a refund due to us needing the chairs and not receiving them on time. The response we received was if we requested a refund we would have to pay a 25% cancellation fee to be able to have it completed due to the company not being prompt on their end. Luckily after that, the chairs were delivered. Due to all of these circumstances, we will not be continuing our business with this company.”
