“Wanting to augment my existing system to include battery, additional panels & an EV charger, I used the Solarquotes facility to request 3 quotes from local installers. I received two quotes within 10 days which gave me enough information & confidence to seek another two quotes from installers via my own research.
I've made my purchasing decision and am looking forward to being energy self sufficient (well, mostly anyway).
One improvement, if I may suggest, is to ensure the installers receive the brief & photos entered as part of initiating the quote. I provided a reasonably detailed but concise brief, however the installers either didn't receive that information or didn't read it.
All in all though, thanks to Soalrquotes for helping me to get going”

“I requested EV Charger quotes and was informed I would be contacted by 3 seperate EV Installers. I received 2 quotes. When contacted I asked they attend the property to confirm their quotes as they were done with the limited information I submitted on the initial enquiry. 1 company missed two appointments and the other has only just returned my email, a week and a half later. The online quote service is great in theory, however the installers used don’t appear to be that interested in performing the work.”

“we were given 3 people who were recommended to install our panel and battery system. 2 of these responded quickly and came to our home to inspect the situation and talk to us about it. we chose one of them. the third we had to chase to get a quote and it was all done on line with the overide that if we ordered and paid a deposit they would come and look and then give a price. they did not make our short list. i also found that the articles put out by Solarquotes were extremely helpful and gave me a good insight into what i should look for”
